Dodge Motorsports and Penske Racing proved one thing during the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season: teamwork, determination and commitment produced exceptional results.

MAHLE Clevite Inc has named Santee-California's Dave Arce as the winner of the prestigious MAHLE Clevite Champion Technician Contest.

It wasn’t just 20-year-old Bayne who was dreaming as the start of the 2011 started with his win in one of the biggest races of the year. Bayne, who celebrated his birthday the day before, won the event in his second career Cup start. It was a sign of things to come in the NSCS.

Roush Fenway Racing and Kellogg Company have announced the multi-year extension of their NASCAR partnership. Kellogg will serve as a primary sponsor of the No. 99 Ford for four Sprint Cup races in 2012, teaming its famed Kellogg’s™ Frosted Flakes cereal and Cheez-It® crackers with perennial championship contender and fan favorite Carl Edwards.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Brad Keselowski, driver of the No. 2 Dodge for Penske Racing, and Joey Logano, driver of the No. 20 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, brought holiday cheer, smiles and good times to troops and their families on the NASCAR-USO/Armed Forces Entertainment tour at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba during their NASCAR-USO visit Dec. 12-14.

Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell was recently named the promoter of the year by the Old Timers Racing Club.

The 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season had an increase in the number of cautions compared to 2010, but less than the 2009 total. There were 278 cautions during the 36-race Sprint Cup season just completed compared to 265 in 2010. The 2009 total was 305.

It’s a fitting way to wrap up a season of innovation at Michigan International Speedway. Track President Roger Curtis has announced a number of structural changes, including implementation of a Fan Experience Department to better serve its guests year-round.

The 2011 season of NASCAR started out with a bang when rookie Trevor Bayne won the Daytona 500. It ended with an electrifying duel between Tony Stewart and Carl Edwards for the championship. Sandwiched in between was one of the most competitive seasons in recent history.

Penske Racing announced today that Todd Gordon is the new crew chief of the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge Charger in the NASCAR Cup Series. The internal move comes on the heels of a successful 2011 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) campaign, during which Gordon led the No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge Charger to six wins and six pole positions
