Brad Keselowski won Sunday’s NASCAR Monster Energy Cup Series STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway in dominating fashion. Keselowski led 446 of 500 laps to capture his second win of the season and the 28th of his Cup Series career.

RYAN BLANEY, No. 12 Menards/Libman Ford Mustang – ASSESS YOUR RACE TODAY. “Long runs, that’s what I needed. I needed long runs and I didn’t want to see that last caution. For like 110-lap run to the finish is what it was gonna be, 120, I was like, ‘Man, that’s perfect. We’re gonna get them here.’ Our car was just starting to come to us."

CHASE ELLIOTT, NO. 9 NAPA AUTO PARTS CAMARO ZL1 – Finished 2nd: THAT WAS CLOSE. WHAT DID YOU NEED TO GET BRAD KESELOWSKI (RACE WINNER) THERE AT THE END? “I don’t know. It was really tough. Our NAPA Camaro was good. I felt like we were about as even with him as we could be. When I did get the lead, I felt like there was a little advantage to being out front and being able to work traffic your way and play off it and whatnot. But, yeah, I tried to move up there at the end and I don’t know if I could have got to him. Maybe if I moved up a little sooner, maybe. But, I tried to get to him there in (Turn) 3, but maybe next time.”

Brad Keselowski won his second race of the season today and extended Ford’s streak of Cup wins at Martinsville to three.

JOEY LOGANO, No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Mustang – POLE-WINNING PRESS CONFERENCE – “It was a great lap. I think we were able to get through the first couple rounds without putting many laps on our tires and that really paid a reward as we got to the third round. The car was pretty good. The car wasn’t too far off. We didn’t make a mock qualifying run in practice, so it was a little bit of an unknown when you roll into qualifying here, but the guys did a good job of making the right adjustments to have something pretty close, to be able to carry a lot of speed and ultimately to be able to get the pole here. It’s important to win a pole here, to start up front is obviously safer, but you can also run your pace and a safer place on pit road as well, so I think when you think of that stuff it gives you an advantage going into tomorrow’s race, so hopefully we can turn that into a win.”

WILLIAM BYRON, NO. 24 AXALTA CAMARO ZL1 – Qualified 6th REGARDING HIS OUTLOOK FOR TOMORROW AFTER QUALIFYING SIXTH “I am kind of optimistic, but we have had a rough day. These two-day shows are tough and we started out with a flat right front and hit the wall. Then in second practice we were way behind because we didn’t have enough practice time. The guys made a lot of great changes to get it right going into qualifying. We were really struggling over the bumps over both ends really and getting on the concrete. We will see what happens, should be fun.”
