NASCAR Cup Series

With only two regular-season races remaining in the season, drivers who have not clinched a spot in the Playoffs, have everything to gain and nothing to lose this Sunday in the Bojangles’ Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway.

Kurt Busch, driver of the No. 41 Haas Automation Ford Fusion, has had two weeks to enjoy his Bristol win and spot in the Playoffs. He came into the Darlington infield media center before practice today to talk about that and other issues.

Jumping into NASCAR’s official throwback weekend at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway, officials from Rick Ware Racing (RWR) announced today they are dialing back their knob to 1990 with their No. 51 JACOB Companies Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Sunday night’s Bojangles Southern 500.

NASCAR and Pit Boss Grills announced a multi-year agreement that introduces one of the fastest growing grill brands as the “Official Grill of NASCAR®.” This new deal marks Pit Boss Grills’ first partnership with a professional sports property and will strengthen the company’s campaign to grow brand awareness on a national scale.

Tradition. On Sunday, NASCAR returns to its traditional roots, to the track that was Daytona before Bill France replaced the beach-road course with his 2.5-mile architectural marvel. Before the Daytona 500, the marquee event was held in Darlington.

One of NASCAR’s most traditional and historic events is back as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) and NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) converge on Darlington Raceway this weekend. A Roush Fenway Ford has visited victory lane 20 times across NASCAR’s three major touring series at ‘The Track Too Tough to Tame.’
