​Paul Menard and the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane team head to New Hampshire Motor Speedway hoping to continue moving closer to a spot in the Monster Energy Cup Series playoffs.

Roush Fenway Racing heads to New England and Red Sox territory as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) and Xfinity Series (NXS) get set for action at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. The trip to Loudon marks the lone one in 2018 after NASCAR’s top touring series has raced twice per year at the 1.058-mile oval dating back to 1997. A Jack Roush Ford has visited victory lane on nine occasions across the three major touring series.

Daniel Suarez is one of those drivers outside of the bubble looking for a win to make the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. With only seven races remaining, he is slowly running out of time.

Like the settlers of the Old West, NASCAR’s top guns ventured into the great unknown – the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL™ – for an up-close look at NASCAR’s newest track during Tuesday’s second and final ROVAL™ Test Fest. Drivers including Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Clint Bowyer and Austin Dillon let the rough side drag around Charlotte’s 2.28-mile, 17-turn road course oval before the inaugural Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 race weekend Sept. 28-30.

Chase Elliott on racing at New Hampshire: “Loudon is Loudon, for sure. It’s been an interesting track – it really doesn’t compare to anywhere else we go to. It's very difficult, very track-position sensitive. You don’t move forward in a hurry there, so it can be one of the most frustrating races I think that we go to. It’s very important to try and keep your cool there and be patient with things.”

LEADER OF THE PACK: Chevrolet leads all other manufacturers with 19 wins at the 1.0-mile, flat, New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS).

Martin Truex Jr., who has won three of the last six races and a NASCAR Cup Series high of 16 since the start of the 2016 season, said a victory at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday would carry more personal importance than any of his wins to date.

Stenhouse Jr. has ten Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) starts at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with an average starting position of 22.5 and average finishing position of 19.9.

There are seven races remaining in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series regular season, making this weekend’s stop at New Hampshire Motor Speedway crucial for those looking to secure a spot in the 16-driver Playoff field. Brad Keselowski, Joey Logano, Kurt Busch, Kevin Harvick and Clint Bowyer have all posted series victories at NHMS with Busch owning a season sweep in his championship year of 2004.

Richard Childress has four victories as a team owner at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with Robby Gordon (2001), Kevin Harvick (2006) and Clint Bowyer (2007 and 2010). In 124 starts at the 1.058-mile oval, Childress also has two pole awards, 16 top-five and 40 top-10 finishes with 10 different drivers including Dave Blaney, Jeff Burton, Bowyer, Austin Dillon, Dale Earnhardt, Jeff Green, Gordon, Harvick, Ryan Newman, Steve Park and Mike Skinner.
