Charlotte Recap: Denny Hamlin finished fifth in Sunday’s rain delayed Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, overcoming a pit road speeding penalty early in the race to score a top-five finish and notch a Stage win. Fast aggressive track: "Dover International Speedway is a place I’ve always had much love for in the past and for years it suited my style,” Allmendinger said. “It's such a fast racetrack where you've really got to have the back of your car under you to be aggressive with the track. I’m hoping we can get a good handle on the track, have a great run there and finish strong. We need some good luck on our side.”

In seven career starts in the XFINTIY Series at “The Monster Mile,” Bayne has recorded two top-five finishes, six top-10 finishes and has an average finish of 9.3. His best finish of second came in the May 2014 event at the one-mile oval.

Stenhouse has nine career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) starts at Dover with an average starting position of 18.7 and average finishing position of 19.1.
