Roush Fenway Racing returns home to Charlotte, N.C. as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) prepares for the 58th running of the Coca-Cola 600, NASCAR’s longest race of the season at a track where victory lane has been visited on 20 different occasions by the organization across NASCAR’s three major touring series.

Ryan Blaney and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing team have returned the Wood Brothers to consistent competitiveness during the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season. During Sunday night’s Coca-Cola 600, they will be trying to resurrect the dominance once displayed by the team at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

A BIG WEEKEND: "Charlotte is a big weekend for us," Buescher said. "We need to come out here and be competitive. This is our fifth 1.5-mile track this season. We’re starting to get an idea of where our intermediate track program is at, and what needs to be done to improve on it."

Million Dollar Man: On the heels of a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) win, Toyota driver Kyle Busch was victorious yet again, capturing his first Monster Energy NASCAR All-Star Race win at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It was his first Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) victory at the 1.5-mile track. Busch hopes the experience carries over to the Coca-Cola 600 where he holds the second-highest driver rating (104.8) and finished sixth in last fall’s race. Charlotte Motor Speedway is one of only two tracks (Pocono Raceway) where Busch is yet to win a MENCS points race.

It was a classic win in a classic race and the adjectives flowed – dominating, annihilating, convincing, blistering, crushing, overpowering – to explain Martin Truex Jr.’s performance in last year’s Coca-Cola 600 victory at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Leavine Family Racing (LFR) and Michael McDowell are honored to race the Coca-Cola 600 with fallen SPC Nick Newby on board the No. 95 WRL Chevrolet SS for the “600 Miles of Remembrance”.

Stenhouse Jr. has 10 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway with an average starting position of 20.7 and average finishing position of 20.8.

“The 600 is a difficult race. So many things happen and change during a four- or five-hour race depending on cautions. It’s tough mentally and physically. NASCAR today announced sweeping changes to the lineup of tracks that make up the playoffs as part of its 2018 national series schedules. Next season, the final regular season race in the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series will be contested at iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, and the Round of 16 kicks off at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
