Richard Childress Racing's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series History at Phoenix Raceway ... Team owner Richard Childress has five victories at Phoenix Raceway, ranking him third on the all-time car owner victories list at the Avondale, Ariz. facility.

Bayne will make his sixth career Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) start at Phoenix International Raceway this weekend.

Stenhouse has eight Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) starts at Phoenix with an average starting position of 17.8 and average finishing position of 22.0.

The second race of NASCAR’s three-week western swing takes place Sunday afternoon at Phoenix International Raceway, a place where Joey Logano took the checkered flag in November and advanced to the championship final the following week at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Here’s a look at Ford’s history at the one-mile facility.

Kevin Harvick, driver of the No. 4 Jimmy John’s Ford Fusion, has had great success at Phoenix International Raceway, having won eight times in his career. He’s been most dominant over the last five years, having won six of the last nine Monster Energy Cup Series races at the facility, including four straight at one point. Crew chief Rodney Childers spoke about the team’s two-day organizational test session at PIR last month, and his hopes for this weekend.

Martin Truex Jr. was able to pass Brad Keselowski with two laps left in Sunday's Kobalt 400 and capture his eighth Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series win. Truex Jr. also became the first driver to win every segment along with the race victory.

Stewart-Haas Racing cars were the class of the field the first two races of the season, with a win in the Daytona 500 by Kurt Busch and most laps led in both the 500 and the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway by Kevin Harvick. Unfortunately, a 10th-place finish by Clint Bowyer was the highlight of a lousy day from the four-car organization.

Kyle Busch and Joey Logano made contact both on the track on the final lap and on pit road after the race concluded at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
