Ryan Blaney and the Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing team scored their second top-10 finish of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season with a seventh-place result in the Kobalt 400 this afternoon at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

KEVIN HARVICK – No. 4 Mobil 1 Ford Fusion – ANY IDEA WHAT LED TO THE TIRE GOING? “It started vibrating about four or five laps there before it blew out, and I was just trying to ride it to the end of the stage there. Obviously, it didn’t make it. The worst part was the medical response. It took them forever to get to the car. I thought we made that better, but obviously we haven’t. All in all, our Mobil 1 Annual Protection Ford was running good. We were just too loose right there. It’s not like we were even tight, so it either just cut the tire, or came apart or melted the bead.” ARE YOU OK? “Yeah, I’m fine.”

BRAD KESELOWSKI – No. 2 Miller Lite Ford Fusion -- HAVE YOU BEEN ABLE TO FIND OUT WHAT BROKE? “No, they’ll have to take it apart. At the end we have to go to inspection and stuff, so we’re not allowed to look. I just know it was something major."

KYLE LARSON, NO. 42 TARGET CHEVROLET SS – Finished 2nd - VERY SOLID SECOND PLACE RUN FOR YOU, YOU ARE JUST KEEPING THIS MOMENTUM GOING IN 2017: “Yeah, no fist flying for me. That was exciting right there, but no, awesome day for our Target team. Second in the first stage, third in the second stage and then finished second in the race. I can’t say enough about my team."

Martin Truex Jr. topped the chart in final Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Ryan Blaney, driver of the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion, will start third in tomorrow’s Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. He posted the sixth-fastest time in Saturday’s morning practice session and then talked with Ford Performance about his chances of taking the Wood Brothers to Victory Lane.

Chase Elliott topped the chart in second Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series practice at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Kyle Larson led the way for Team Chevy in the final round of knock-out qualifying at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for Sunday’s Kobalt 400 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) race, Round 3 on the 2017 circuit. Piloting his No. 42 Target Chevrolet SS, Larson made a strong showing with a 27.956 seconds/193.161 mph to earn a fifth-place starting spot in the 39-car field.
