NASCAR Cup Series

The iconic No. 21 Ford Fusion returns to the track this week at the Daytona International Speedway to start the 2017 Monster Energy Cup season. It’s the second-straight year that the Motorcraft/Quick Lane team will be competing on a full-time basis, but the team’s history in the elite division dates back to 1953, further than any active team on the circuit.

In anticipation of the upcoming 2017 NASCAR season, Roush Fenway Racing will give fans an inside look at the journey to the season-opening Daytona Speedweeks for the team’s PR staff. Members of the team will document the road trip from Roush Fenway headquarters in Concord, N.C. to Daytona International Speedway – a journey totaling its own 500 miles.

Dawsonville, Georgia native and 2016 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year, Chase Elliott, will have two chances to score his first NASCAR national touring series win at his home track, Atlanta Motor Speedway, as he pulls double-duty in races both Saturday and Sunday, March 4 and 5, 2017.

FARMERS INSURANCE: Kasey Kahne will pilot the No. 5 Farmers Insurance Chevrolet SS for the 59th annual Daytona 500. Farmers Insurance will adorn the No. 5 Chevy for 12 NASCAR Cup Series races this year as the majority sponsor. This season marks the company’s seventh year of partnership with Hendrick Motorsports.

Fans will roar and the red, white and blue will wave before the green flag on May 28 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Iconic rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd will salute America with the ultimate Memorial Day Weekend mix of rock and racing in front of a captivated audience in the Coca-Cola 600 Concert presented by Speed Perks.

The GEICO Restart Zone will be unveiled during Speedweeks’ 2017 list of events and the 59th annual DAYTONA 500, which will also serve as the season-opening event to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series.

For the Clash, we’ve got Kroger ClickList on the hood of the No. 37 Chevrolet SS. ClickList is an online grocery ordering service where the customer can pick up their groceries at their convenience. It’s just a one off race, but I’m looking forward to having Kroger ClickList on the hood and being able to show fans how easy and convenient ClickList is.
