New Hampshire Recap: Denny Hamlin finished 15th in Sunday's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, unable to make up track position in the final laps the 300-lap event on the flat, one-mile oval, won by Kevin Harvick.

Richard Childress Racing at Dover International Speedway ... RCR has earned four NASCAR Sprint Cup Series wins at Dover International Speedway, most recently in September 2006 when Jeff Burton drove the No. 31 Chevrolet to Victory Lane.

With changes in the race shop and on the road, Aric Almirola and the No. 43 Smithfield team have been working hard to get the 2016 season turned around and begin preparations for next year. Coming off of a disappointing finish in Chicago, Almirola went to New Hampshire with high expectations after a strong run at the one-mile oval earlier in the year.

With just eight races left in the 2016 Sprint Cup Series season, Brian Scott and the No. 44 ACME team are looking to finish on a high note. The team heads to the second race of the season at Dover International Speedway this weekend, ready to tackle the "Monster" of the one-mile concrete oval.

In seven career starts in the XFINTIY Series at “The Monster Mile,” Bayne has recorded two top-five finishes, six top-10 finishes and has an average finish of 9.3. His best finish of second came in the May 2014 event at the one-mile oval.

Ty Dillon will be making his first Sprint Cup Series start at the Monster Mile this weekend. However, Dillon is no stranger to Dover International Speedway; he has made seven NASCAR XFINITY Series starts and two NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starts.

In his 28 career Cup Series starts at the 1.0-mile track, Biffle has two wins, six top-five and 11 top-10 finishes. His average starting position is 13.0 with an average finishing position of 14.4

Stenhouse has eight career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) starts at Dover with an average starting position of 18.2 and average finishing position of 20.1.

The final Chase race in the Round of 16 is scheduled to take place Sunday afternoon at Dover International Speedway. Ford has a pair of Chase triumphs at the Monster Mile with those coming in back-to-back seasons (2007-08) by Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle. A win this weekend by either Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski or Chris Buescher would automatically move them into the Round of 12.

Harvick passed Matt Kenseth with five laps left and took a pivotal win at New Hampshire, advancing to the next round of the Chase For The Cup.
