Tony Stewart had a wicked good run Sunday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, wheeling his No. 14 Haas Automation Chevrolet SS for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) to a second-place finish in the New Hampshire 301 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. It was Stewart’s third top-five result this season and his 15th top-five in 34 career Sprint Cup starts at New Hampshire.

Kevin Harvick, driver of the No. 4 Jimmy John’s Chevrolet SS for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), overcame pit road misfortune early in Sunday’s New Hampshire 301 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon to finish fourth, marking his eighth top-five result of 2016 and his eighth top-five in 31 career starts at New Hampshire.

Kurt Busch, driver of the No. 41 Haas Automation/Monster Energy Chevrolet SS for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR), had a strong run in the New Hampshire 301 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon Sunday, but his 22nd-place finish didn’t reflect the effort of the 2004 Sprint Cup champion and his Tony Gibson-led team.

Danica Patrick and the No. 10 Nature’s Bakery Chevrolet SS team for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) earned a 14th-place finish in Sunday’s New Hampshire 301 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, marking the driver’s career-best effort at the 1.058-mile track.

"It was a good run for our Whelen Chevrolet. It was a hard fought day. We had about a 15th-place car and to finish where we did, made it a good day. It was a solid points day for us. We still have some work to do to be running up there in the top three and contending for the win all day long."

Rookie driver Ryan Blaney and his Motorcraft/Quick Lane team took what could have been a disappointing day at New Hampshire and turned it into a very respectable finish.

Greg Biffle drove his No. 16 NESN Fuel Ford Fusion to a fifth-place finish Sunday afternoon at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, extending his string of top-10 finishes to three in a row.

Martin Truex Jr. had every right to show some frustration after he saw a potential win escape him due to a broken shifter late in Sunday’s Sprint Cup Series race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Instead, the Furniture Row Racing driver, who finished 16th, took an opposite approach, looking to the future with a positive attitude and praising his team for giving him a fast race car.

Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Fusion, recorded a 23rd-place finish in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) event on Sunday afternoon at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

With a series of late-race cautions in the last 40 laps of Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. gained nine positions to score his second top-10 finish in the past three races.
