When it comes to Saturday night’s Sprint All-Star Race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Martin Truex Jr. will be taking a page from the playbook of legendary football coach Vince Lombardi, who famously said, “Winning isn’t everything; it’s the only thing.”

Kenseth won the AAA 400 at Dover, avoiding a huge crash that wiped out much of the field and holding off Kyle Larson for the win.

Four All-Star Wins for RCR ... Richard Childress Racing has won four NASCAR Sprint All-Star races, most recently in 2007 with Kevin Harvick. Dale Earnhardt won the event in 1987, which included the legendary "Pass in the Grass." Earnhardt also went on to claim the checkered flag in 1990 and 1993.

The annual Sprint All-Star Race is on tap this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Ford has won the event 10 times by eight different drivers with the last victory coming in 2011 by Carl Edwards. Here’s a closer look at some of Ford’s highlights through the years.

Hamlin is the defending race winner of the prestigious event, holding off Kevin Harvick in the final segment last year to capture his first All-Star victory and the $1 million first place prize.

This year the Sprint All-Star race has been revamped to create more excitement as drivers race to claim the $1 million prize. The All-Star race will be held on May 21 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and will consist of three segments for a total of 113 laps.

O'Reilly Auto Parts and Texas Motor Speedway have signed a multi-year agreement for the national automotive aftermarket retailing leader to serve as the race entitlement sponsor for the annual April NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at the world-renowned motorsports facility beginning in 2017.
