Go Fas Racing is pleased to announce that the North Carolina Education Lottery has partnered with Go Fas Racing and JEI as a primary partner of Jeffrey Earnhardt’s No.32 Ford Fusion for this weekend’s Sprint All Star Show Down at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
“We are very privileged to be able to partner with the North Carolina Education Lottery for the Sprint Showdown,” said Go Fas Racing team owner Archie St.Hilaire. “We are looking forward to representing them proudly, and hope this is the beginning of a great relationship in the future.”
“I’m really excited to help celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the North Carolina Education Lottery during this weekends All Star Showdown and next week’s Coca-Cola 600. They’ve been supporting our sport for a long time and raised more than $4 billion dollars for education. So while it’s a lot of fun to play, it’s also giving back in a huge way to our state,” said Jeffrey Earnhardt. “I’m going to be signing autographs and meeting people at the lottery booth on both weekends and look forward to some extra luck for all of us.”
This year’s Sprint Showdown features an all new exciting format. There will be a total of three segments. The first segment will be 20 laps, and starting positions will be determined based off practice speeds. At the conclusion of segment 1 the winner will advance to Saturday’s All-Star race, while the rest of the field must come down pit road for a mandatory minimum 2-tire pit stop. The field for segment 2 will be based off pit stops. Segment 2 will be 20 laps, with the winner advancing to Saturday’s All Star race. The rest of the field will once again have to come down pit road for a mandatory minimum 2-tire pit stop, which will set the field for the third and final segment. The third segment will only be 10 laps, with the winner advancing to Saturday’s All-Star race.
“The lottery is excited to sponsor Jeffrey Earnhardt and Go Fas Racing in the #32 car in the Sprint Showdown and Coca-Cola 600,” said Frank Suarez, the lottery’s deputy executive director of brand management and communications. “Visible partnerships like this have helped support ticket sales and increase earnings for education for 10 years. And we hope Jeffrey feels that having the lottery behind him will put good luck on his side as he races.”
The NC Education Lottery will be on-site in the Charlotte Motor Speedway midway at the Avenue of Flags for both the All-Star race, and the Coke 600 race weekends. Adults 18+ can play the lottery and spin the prize wheel to win fun logo items like T-shirts and caps from the North Carolina Education Lottery.
Fans who would like to meet Jeffrey Earnhardt can head to the NCEL booth in the CMS midway in front of the Avenue of Flags on Saturday, May 21st from 2:00pm – 3:00pm, and again on Sunday, May 29th from 2:00pm – 3:00pm.
