Eric Dane, the star of TNT’s The Last Ship, has been named Grand Marshal for the NASCAR Auto Club 400 Sprint Cup Series on March 20, 2016 at Auto Club Speedway.

Best damn finishes ever. Well, for two of the four events to date, that has been the headline for NASCAR in 2016. Daytona and Phoenix were decided by gaps measurable with a ruler, and that has to be a good thing. Hell, a great thing.

U.S. Marine and Hero, USMC Staff Sergeant Charlie Linville, will serve as Honorary Starter for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway on Sunday, March 20.

The Northern California native will be making his third-career NSCS start at ACS this weekend. In two previous starts, Larson and the Target team have seen speed and some success, with an average start of 8.0 and average finish of 14.0.

Sunday's event will mark Earnhardt's first career NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) start at the fast 2.0-mile track, and his fifth career NSCS start. The Mooresville, NC native made his two starts this season at the Atlanta Motor Speedway and at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The Motorcraft/Quick Lane Racing team and its rookie wheelman Ryan Blaney face a couple of obstacles as they go for their third consecutive top-10 finish this weekend in the Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, Calif.

Stenhouse has three NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) starts at Auto Club with an average starting position of 26.7 and average finishing position of 23.0.

Busch finished fourth at Phoenix to post his fourth top-five finish of the season. He is tied with Kevin Harvick for the lead in the Sprint Cup points standings.

“Over the past couple of years the races have been so good there,” Allmendinger said. “It’s always nice to see that place packed with fans. The last two years the races have been sold out and that makes it awesome and the finishes have been exciting.
