Roush Fenway Racing returns to Concord, N.C. as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) prepares to race at home for the second time in the 2015 NSCS season at Charlotte Motor Speedway. A Roush Fenway Ford has visited victory lane at Charlotte on 20 different occasions across NASCAR’s three major touring series.

The penalty rundown is light this week with a P2 penalty being handed to the No. 78 Furniture Row Racing team. All that resulted from it was Cole Pearn being placed on probation until Dec. 31.

This weekend, Lowes Foods will make its NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut as a primary sponsor at Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway with Sam Hornish Jr. and the No. 9 Ford team. Both the team and sponsor will be competing under the lights at their home track.

Aric Almirola and the No. 43 Smithfield Ford team continue to prove consistency. Last weekend's Top-Five finish was the team's third Top-Five this season and second in the last four races.

Dover Recap: Denny Hamlin finished 18th in Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Dover (Del.) International Speedway, advancing to the Contender Round of the Chase playoffs after four drivers were eliminated following the 400-lap event at the “Monster Mile.”

Watching Martin Truex Jr.’s performance in the spring race at Charlotte Motor Speedway it would be hard to tell that the Chase contender has had a history of struggling at the 1.5-mile oval.

To quote a famous Oscar-winning film, "There's no place like home." This Saturday, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Charlotte Motor Speedway for the Bank of America 500, the 30th race of the season, the fourth of the Chase and first of the Contender Round.

The Challenger Round came to a conclusion Sunday at Dover International Speedway and it was defending series champion Kevin Harvick who conquered Miles the Monster to punch his ticket to the Contender Round.
