Qualifying for Sunday night’s Coke Zero 400 Powered by Coca Cola was rained out Saturday, giving the pole position to Dale Earnhardt Jr., based on his chart-topping, 200 mph-plus practice speed.

Qualifying for the Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway was canceled due to inclement weather at the track. The No. 21 Motorcraft Quick Lane Ford Fusion (Ryan Blaney) and the No. 95 KLOVE Radio Ford Fusion (Michael McDowell) did not qualify for the race due to the cancellation. The field is set for Sunday night based on speed in practice one.

The Wood Brothers Racing Motorcraft/Quick Lane Ford Fusion will not race in Sunday’s Coke Zero 400 because qualifying was cancelled at Daytona International Speedway due to threatening weather around the area.

Popular FOX Sports broadcaster Steve Byrnes has been named the recipient of the 2016 Squier-Hall Award for NASCAR Media Excellence. Byrnes most recently served as the play-by-play announcer for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on FOX Sports 1 and was the network’s co-host of NASCAR Race Hub. He passed away in April after a long battle with cancer.

ISC will install approximately 54,000 linear feet of additional SAFER Barrier at its facilities. From now through the end of 2016, ISC will work with Cheaha Construction, Smith Fence Company, and North Industrial Machine, all certified organizations with the University of Nebraska, on this installation.
