Tyler Reddick earned the first pole position of his career in the NASCAR Cup Series Sunday morning during group qualifying for today’s EchoPark Automotive Texas Grand Prix, which is scheduled to take the green flag at 1:30 p.m. CT (FS1 and PRN Radio).

Joey Logano, driver of the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Ford Mustang, was the fastest Ford in today’s only NASCAR Cup Series practice at Circuit of the Americas. Logano participated in a post-practice media call to talk about track conditions.

Defending NASCAR Cup Series champ Chase Elliott has been a road course master in recent seasons, winning four of the last five starts where drivers are required to turn both right and left.

Nashville Superspeedway, with the approval from local and state health officials, will have no attendance restrictions throughout the weekend, including for the “Ally 400” NASCAR Cup Series race on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 20, track officials announced today. Tickets for the “Ally 400” are sold out.

The race winners from NASCAR’s three national series who emerge at this weekend’s inaugural NASCAR at COTA event will have no issues identifying the hardware in their personal trophy collection.
