NASCAR O'Reilly Series

Ty Majeski – Kansas Advance

“It will be nice to go to a track that I have been to before, obviously that shortens the learning curve since practice is limited in the Xfinity Series. We will have two 50-minute practice sessions so it will be very crucial to get up to speed and get to work on our No. 60 Ford. With my past experience at Kansas, hopefully we can capitalize this weekend and have a strong run in our No. 60 Ford.”

JR Motorsports — NXS Kansas Preview

“A strong start to the Round of 8 this weekend in Kansas is going to be key to moving forward. With the Nos. 7 and 20 having a strong playoff points lead, we’ve got to get top fives and hopefully a win this round. I know we have the speed and the resources to make that happen, we just need to make sure we’re there at the finish. Kevin (Meendering, crew chief) and my guys have worked hard all season long. They deserve to be among the top four fighting for the championship at Homestead. It all starts this weekend, getting our Textron Off Road Wildcat XX Chevrolet a strong finish.” – Elliott Sadler

Ford Performance NASCAR: Custer and Cindric Advance to Round of 8 in NASCAR XFINITY Series Playoffs

AUSTIN CINDRIC, No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang – NEVER A DOUBT, RIGHT? “I don’t think there’s much doubt when I’m driving for Team Penske. The ball was definitely in my court today. We had a top-five car and did just about that with it. We gave up in a few spots knowing the points situation and having a really solid day, so I think that’s one of the first races I can say that went smooth. We executed everything and thanks to Discount Tire, MoneyLion and everyone who supports this car. I get to breathe for a week. I actually get to go play with some Mustangs next weekend, so it will be fun to get my mind off of it and then it’s back to scrounging and clawing and grabbing to try and get a final four spot, which will probably end up meaning trying to win a race, but it’s nothing we can’t do.”
