Matt Tifft Earns First Top-10 Finish at Darlington Raceway and Clinches Playoff Spot in No. 2 Surface Sunscreen Chevrolet "It feels awesome to come out of Darlington Raceway with a top-10 finish and a clinched playoff spot, especially considering last year when I wasn't able to make a lap during the race due to early contact. My No. 2 Surface Sunscreen Chevrolet Camaro handled better and better throughout this weekend and came into its prime right as I started to figure out how to get around this track."

Camry driver Denny Hamlin (fourth) was the highest-finishing Toyota driver in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Darlington Raceway.

AUSTIN CINDRIC, No. 60 Ford Hall of Fans Ford Mustang – (Retired after being involved in an accident on lap 2). “My only mindset coming in today was to learn 200 miles around Darlington. That’s all I cared about. All I cared about was getting a good run for this team and to be taken out on lap two sucks. It sucks bad. It just shows the level of respect some guys race with and it’s tough. It bothers me a lot, but you’ve got to keep fighting. You can’t give up. It’s been a tough year.”

Brad Keselowski in his No. 22 Penske Racing Ford took the lead after an exciting incident between race leader Chastain and Kevin Harvick took them both out of contention. Keselowski captured his first win at Darlington Speedway and the 39th of his career.

Austin Cindric’s first-ever competition at Darlington Raceway did not go according to plan, as contact with the No. 11 on the final corner of the first lap sent the No. 60 Ford Hall of Fans Mustang into the interior wall just past the start-finish line. Damage was too severe to continue, and Cindric was scored with a 40th-place finish.

After a hard fought fifth place finish at Road America last week, Elliott Sadler clinched a spot in the NASCAR Xfinity Series Playoffs. As he heads to Darlington Raceway this week he has a new goal - to win.

News and notes: Coming off a very solid performance at Road America, Boyd will head south to have his first date with The Lady in Black at Darlington Raceway. Boyd will sport a special throwback paint scheme honoring three-time ARCA champion Bob Dotter, this weekend. Earlier this week it was announced Bob Dotter has been nominated to the 2019 Illinois Stock Car Hall of fame. “This is going to be such a special weekend,” says Boyd. "I'm so appreciative of everything Bobby Dotter has done for me and my career. It's really cool that we get to honor his father in such a historic race. I think this scheme will definitely be worth a couple tenths or so."

“I’m excited about Darlington. It’s probably one of the most unknown tracks that I’ve gone to this year since I’ve never been there. From everything I have seen, I think it is a track that I’m really going to like. It’s obviously a very tricky race track and demands a lot of respect. I’m excited for the challenge and hopefully I can have a strong run in my final race of the season in the No. 60 Ford.”
