Roush Fenway Weekly Advance | Road America

In what is a rare off weekend for the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS), the Roush Fenway Xfinity teams head north to Sheboygan, Wisconsin, for their third road course race in four weeks. RFR will field three cars in Saturday afternoon’s race, highlighted by Lilly Diabetes as the primary partner on all three. RFR has 21 starts in the Xfinity Series at the track all-time, with one win coming back in the very first start there with Carl Edwards in 2010.

Ty Majeski – Road America Advance

Majeski made his first career start at Road America earlier this month in the IMSA series where he finished 14th. Majeski will drive the No. 60 Lilly Diabetes Ford Saturday for his first Xfinity Series start at the Wisconsin track.

Conor Daly – Road America Advance

RCR Event Preview – Road America

Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Road America ... In 24 Series starts at the 4.7-mile road course, RCR has captured three victories with drivers Brendan Gaughan (2014), Paul Menard (2015) and Michael McDowell (2016). RCR has accumulated seven top-five finishes, nine top-10 finishes, led 62 laps and averages a starting position of 12.7 and finishing position of 12.9. The Welcome, North Carolina, organization has completed 1,162 laps of the 1,176 (98.8 percent) that they have competed.

Team Penske NASCAR XFINITY Series Race Report – Bristol

As the 300-lap race went green, the 19-year-old fell to 23rd, two laps down to the race leaders while battling a very loose Mustang, a condition he would fight the entire night. On lap 70 the race saw its first caution. Crew chief Matt Swiderski elected to keep Cindric on track in order to take the wave-around and allow the rookie to battle for the lucky dog. By the end of Stage 1, Cindric would race his way to the 20th position.
