NASCAR Xfinity Series Drivers Ready and Excited for Saturday’s Pocono Green 250 Recycled by J.P. Mascaro & Sons

The NASCAR Xfinity Series returns to ‘The Tricky Triangle’ for the Pocono Green 250 Recycled by J.P. Mascaro & Sons. The Series will run a competition package where fans should expect to see more side-by-side racing all race long. In addition to the NASCAR Xfinity Series regular competitors, drivers Kyle Busch, Chase Elliott and Paul Menard are scheduled to run in the 125-lap event Saturday starting at 1 p.m. ET. on Saturday, June 2.

RCR Event Preview – Pocono Raceway

Richard Childress Racing at Pocono Raceway ... In 157 starts at Pocono Raceway, RCR team owner Richard Childress has two wins, both with Dale Earnhardt, who won on July 19, 1987 and July 18, 1993. Additionally, RCR has earned one pole award, 16 top-five and 54 top-10 finishes with 610 laps led at the uniquely-shaped three-turn track. Childress, a former driver in NASCAR's top division, contributed two of those top-10 finishes under the RCR banner.

Roush Fenway Racing hits the road for Pocono this weekend as the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series (MENCS) and NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) return to action at the Tricky Triangle. The trip north marks the first in a two-month span, as the Cup series will make a return trip before summer’s end in July.

This weekend marks the third visit to Pocono Raceway for the NASCAR Xfinity Series. In 2016, Reed qualified 23rd and finished 33rd after his right-rear tire went down while he was running in to the top 10.

Team Penske NASCAR XFINITY Series Race Report – Charlotte

Brad Keselowski held off a fast closing Cole Custer to win Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY race at Charlotte. Keselowski took the lead from Daniel Hemric with 44 laps to go and held on for the victory despite three cautions and a red flag delay for rain with 28 laps to go. The win was Keselowski’s 38th career NXS victory and his fourth at Charlotte. He won the second time this season, becoming the first repeat winner in the series.

Reed Salvages 29th-Place Finish at Charlotte

Despite starting at the tail end of the field, Ryan Reed raced his way from the back all the way to the top 10 Saturday afternoon at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Reed had a fast No. 16 Drive Down A1C Lilly Diabetes Ford but got loose and brushed the outside wall midway through the race resulting into a trip to the garage to repair a hole in the oil pan. Reed returned to the track to gain a few positions as the race concluded, ultimately crossing the finish line 29th.

Late Issues Spoil Solid Day for Majeski

Ty Majeski had a solid run going late in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Charlotte, but a series of misfortunes spoiled what looked to be a solid finish as he crossed the stripe 22nd.
