Richard Childress Racing at Pocono Raceway ... In 154 starts at Pocono Raceway, RCR team owner Richard Childress has two wins, both with Dale Earnhardt, who won on July 19, 1987 and July 18, 1993. Additionally, RCR has earned one pole award, 16 top-five and 54 top-10 finishes with 608 laps led at the uniquely-shaped three-turn track. Childress, a former driver in NASCAR's top division, contributed two of those top-10 finishes under the RCR banner.

Ryan Reed has competed at Iowa Speedway seven times in the NASCAR XFINITY Series. Reed has finished 19th or better in every start at Iowa. His best finish came in the second race last year where he started 14th and finished 10th.

Teenager William Byron held off veterans Paul Menard and Joey Logano over tense final laps to become the youngest winner of a major race on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval, capturing a victory in a thrilling Lilly Diabetes 250 NASCAR XFINITY Series race on Saturday.

Ryan Reed drove his No. 16 Lilly Diabetes Ford to a sixth-place finish Saturday afternoon at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the Lilly Diabetes 250. The sixth-place finish is Reed’s best finish at the famed 2.5-mile track.

Recap: Joey Logano started 12th and finished third in the No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang on Saturday afternoon in the Lilly Diabetes 250 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. When the race began, Logano reported that the handling of the Discount Tire Mustang was good everywhere except turn 1 where it lacked grip, and that he needed more speed on the long straights to contend with the race leaders.

Camry driver Matt Tifft (11th) had the top-finishing Toyota in Saturday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Kyle Busch’s Camry led a race-high 44 laps (of 100) on the 2.5-mile speedway before finishing 12th.

JOEY LOGANO – No. 22 Discount Tire Ford Mustang – DID YOU HAVE ANY CHANCE TO DO ANYTHING DIFFERENT? “I wasn’t even close. I was a distant third. I was kind of in the hunt there with the 9, but just didn’t have a fast enough car to hang with him. The handling kind of fell off there at the end as well. It’s interesting because you can trim it out and try to go fast and then handling comes into play, but it seemed like the 9 had a little bit of both."

Justin Allgaier came to grips with the new equipment package for the Lilly Diabetes 250 faster than any other driver, turning the top overall lap of two practice sessions for the NASCAR XFINITY Series on Friday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
