Smithley will be looking for more in Saturday’s My Bariatric Solutions 300 at Texas Motor Speedway, where he’ll drive the Flex Seal Chevrolet.

The race will be the first on the track’s repaved surface. The entire 1.5 miles of the track has been resurfaced, and track officials have reconfigured the banking in turns one and two from 24 degrees to 20.

The 1.5-mile track is very different from the last time the Xfinity Series raced there. The racing surface has been repaved, and turns one and two have been decreased in banking from 24 degrees to 20.

The three veteran Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) Camry drivers have multiple MENCS wins at Texas Motor Speedway … Busch won at the track in April 2013 and again last spring, while Denny Hamlin has swept both Texas Cup races in 2010 and Matt Kenseth won twice at the track prior to joining JGR and Toyota (April 2002, April 2011)

Ryan Reed will make his seventh NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Texas Motor Speedway this weekend. In his six previous starts at the 1.5-mile track, Reed has finished 20th or above and has four top-15 finishes.

Wallace will make his fifth career NASCAR XFINITY Series start at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday. In four previous starts, Wallace has recorded one top-10, a sixth-place finish in the spring 2015 event.
