In the final start of his 2014 Rookie Campaign, Dylan Kwasniewski and his No. 31 Rockstar Energy Drink team battled throughout the 200-lap race, ultimately coming home with a 19th-place finish in the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) series finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Kyle Larson and his Turner Scott Motorsports team went out with a bang in the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) grand finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway, leading 111 of the 200-lap race before two heart-pounding green/white/checkered flag finishes left Larson with a third-place finish.

A strong run in the final race of the Nationwide Series season for Landon Cassill was spoiled by late-race engine problems. Cassill ran as high as 11th in the Ford EcoBoost 300 Saturday and was pushing toward a top 10 in the closing miles when he was forced to park with engine issues.

Jeffrey Earnhardt wrapped up his first full Nationwide Series season with a 21st-place finish in Saturday’s Ford EcoBoost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

The final race of the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series was all about small victories for James Buescher and the No. 99 Rheem / RAB Racing team. Throughout the 2014 season, the Rheem Toyota team seemed to run into bad luck everywhere they turned. A solid result in the Ford Ecoboost 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway would put all that behind them ending into the off-season. Tenth in points was also up for grabs, Buescher came into the final race of the season tied in the driver point standings.

Brian Scott qualified seventh for the Homestead-Miami 300 and was the highest qualifying Richard Childress Racing entry at Homestead-Miami Speedway. Teammates Brendan Gaughan, Ty Dillon, Paul Menard qualified eighth, 21st and 31st respectively. RCR teammates Ty Dillon, Brian Scott, Paul Menard and Brendan Gaughan finished seventh, 10th, 12th and 29th. In the final NASCAR Nationwide Series driver point standings, Brian Scott led the RCR drivers finishing in fourth while Ty Dillon was fifth and Brendan Gaughan eighth.

Ryan Reed, driver of the No. 16 American Diabetes Association Drive to Stop DiabetesSM presented by Lilly Diabetes Ford Mustang was running solidly inside the top-10 with just a handful of laps remaining in Saturday’s NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The closing laps proved to be chaotic with several cautions and a green-white-checker finish. Contact with another competitor ultimately led to a flat tire, leaving the team with a 27th-place finish.

Trevor Bayne, driver of the No. 6 AdvoCare Ford Mustang, passed nine cars and survived a green-white-checkered restart in the closing laps to earn an 11th-place finish in the 2014 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

In a thrilling green-white-checkered finish, Matt Kenseth, behind the wheel of the No. 20 GameStop/Rock Candy Toyota, held both Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson at bay to win the 20th annual Ford EcoBoost 300.

This marks the fourth consecutive year Mustang has won a NASCAR Nationwide Series championship, winning two driver’s and two owner’s titles in that span.
