Alex Bowman will pilot RAB Racing Chassis No. 42 in Saturday's Kentucky 300 at Kentucky Speedway. This chassis last saw action at Chicagoland Speedway this past weekend where Bowman started last and drove his way to an 11th place finish. Earlier this season, Alex piloted this chassis to the top of the pylon in qualifying to earn the pole at Texas Motor Speedway. At Kentucky Speedway in June, Bowman finished 10th with this chassis.

Chad Hackenbracht made his fifth career start at Chicagoland Speedway during Saturday's Dollar General 300 powered by Coke. Hackenbracht made his first career NASCAR Nationwide Series start in "The Windy City" in July while driving for TriStar Motorsports. He has three previous starts in the ARCA Racing Series while driving for his family-owned team.

After collecting the wall in NASCAR Nationwide Series practice, as a result of a really loose Toyota, Mike Bliss started the Dollar General 300 powered by Coke from the 35th position.

ZLOOP Computer Electronics and Recycling Centers (CERC) will introduce its services to Kentucky Speedway guests by accepting small electronics for recycling during the venue’s doubleheader race weekend made up of the Sept. 20 ARCA Racing Series (ARS) ZLOOP 150 and Sept. 21 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) 300-mile race.

The Bluegrass State...The NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) will make its second and final trip of the 2013 season to the Bluegrass State and Kentucky Speedway this weekend for the Kentucky 300.

KENTUCKY-BOUND: Johanna Long and the No. 70 Foretravel Motorcoach ML Motorsports team will head to the Bluegrass State this weekend for the second time this season to compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series Kentucky 300 at Kentucky Speedway. The team will transport chassis No. 65 which was utilized in the July race at Chicagoland Speedway where Long finished 20th.

The NASCAR Nationwide Series will be in the spotlight this weekend at Kentucky Speedway in more ways than one. Not only will the field take the checkered flag under the lights on Saturday night, but they will be the main attraction as the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series heads to Loudon.

Travis Pastrana makes his second NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at Kentucky Speedway this weekend. In his last visit to the 1.5-mile track, Pastrana had one of his strongest runs of the season, before rain shortened the race, ultimately leaving the No. 60 in 15th.

After a wild and controversial weekend for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and NASCAR Nationwide Series at Richmond and for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series in Iowa, all three series meet back up for another tripleheader weekend in Chicago as we’re getting down to 10 races or less in the championship race for each series.
