The 2012 season has been one marked by consistency for the No. 31 BRANDT team. Heading into Kansas Speedway, the team has one win (Montreal), six top-five finishes and 17 top-10 finishes. This is the same tally the team finished the 2011 season with, meaning there is room to improve upon that mark by the conclusion of 2012. Additionally, Justin Allgaier has led 165 laps thus far in the season.

Stenhouse, Jr. on racing at Kansas Speedway: “We don’t know what to expect at Kansas since the repave. I anticipate the track will be smooth and fast. We have numerous practice sessions to get a better feel of the track and get our No. 6 Sam’s Club Ford Mustang dialed in."

NASCAR has announced some changes for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS), NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) and NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) starting in 2013.

NASCAR today announced a number of competition changes for the 2013 season, highlighted by a new qualifying format in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series that places a greater emphasis on speed.

Ryan Blaney started the Dollar General 300 from the 22nd position in his final NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start with Tommy Baldwin Racing (TBR) this season. He quickly drove the No. 36 SealWrap Chevrolet into the top-15 and raced in the top-20 for all 300 miles. As he struggled with a tight-handling racecar he fell two laps down to the leader by the checkered flag. The No. 36 SealWrap Chevrolet finished in 14th place.

The No. 99 Zaxby's Toyota Camry, piloted by John Wes Townley, had a strong run in the early going of Saturday's Dollar General 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, but a delaminated tire left the team with a 32nd-place finish.

With the final four races of the Nationwide Series ahead, before the crowing of a champion commences in Homestead-Miami, Elliott Sadler continues to move ever closer to seeing that it’s him.

Mike Wallace and the No. 01 G&K Services battled 42 other cars, long green-flag stretches and a loose handling condition on their own Chevrolet in Friday night’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Joey Logano qualified the No. 20 GameStop Toyota in the third position for Friday evening’s NASCAR Nationwide Series event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the Dollar General 300.

Michael Annett started the Dollar General 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway from the 13th position and shortly after the drop of the green flag the caution flew on Lap 2 for water on the track. At the conclusion of the lengthy cleanup Annett restarted in 15th on Lap 10. After running several laps under green flag conditions, Annett relayed to crew chief Philippe Lopez that the Pilot Flying J Cheez-It Ford was tight exiting the corners.
