Heafner, an accomplished short track racer from North Carolina is poised to make his ARCA Menards Series debut in the series’ biggest race of the season in Saturday’s Lucas Oil 200 driven by General Tire at the famed Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway.

Hailie Deegan, No. 4 Monster Energy Ford Fusion
Hailie Deegan has a big weekend ahead of her at Daytona International Speedway. It will be her first start at the 2.5-mile superspeedway and her first race in the No. 4 Monster Energy Ford Fusion. This season she will run the full 20-race ARCA Menards Series schedule competing for the championship, as well as Rookie of the Year honors.
Venturini Motorsports, a championship-winning organization in the ARCA Menards Series, has filed a lawsuit against two former employees, one of whom was former Crew Chief Frank Kimmel.
The ARCA Menards Series has announced a change to its championship points format, aligning the series point structure with those in the NASCAR Cup Series, NASCAR XFINITY Series, and NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series as well as the ARCA Menards Series East and West, formerly known as the NASCAR K&N Pro Series.

First-timer Dominique Van Wieringen led the way in the final day of testing for the ARCA Menards Series season-opener at Daytona International Speedway. The two-day test session, leading into the February 10 Lucas Oil 200 Driven by General Tire, was plagued both days by overnight rain showers that delayed the start, but the teams on hand were able to get nearly 15 hours of track time over the course of both days.
The 2020 Truck Series champion from Alpine, California, led the final 53 of 147 laps after he inherited the lead following a pit stop prior to the final stage period and withstood two restarts under the final 50 laps to win the first Chase event of the 2026 O'Reilly Auto Parts Series season.
Alpha Prime Racing will utilize Ford equipment for select events in the closing stretches of the 2026 season and utilize Roush Yates Engines prior to a full manufacturer change to Ford in 2027.
Scott McLaughlin delivered Chevrolet its 250th INDYCAR SERIES pole position, taking the top spot for the season-ending Mission Foods Grand Prix of Monterey with a lap of 1 minute, 9.1363 seconds in the No. 3 DEX Team Penske Chevrolet.

The 2026 Daytona 500 champion from Corning, California, was awarded the first pole position of the 2026 Chase for the Cup Series based on a qualifying metric formula due to inclement weather and lightning canceling the event's practice and qualifying sessions.
