It was just like old times for Andrew Ranger at round number three of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series. Piloting the #27 Mopar Parts Dodge at Circuit ICAR Ranger posted the quickest times in both practice sessions, set a new track record claiming the pole position on Saturday and then for the third straight year captured the race victory on Sunday afternoon.

Gary McLean & Max Beyore Feature Winners At Capital City Speedway

For the first time is OSCAAR history, The Hanover Holiday Modifieds made the trip to our nations capital, Capital City Speedway. With all drivers having to make at least a 4 hour haul and up to a 9-10 hour trip to put a show on for the fans. Eleven teams committed to make the trip to show the fans in Ottawa, the excitement of OSCAAR racing. A late race format change to ensure the fans witnessed the best racing saw the modified teams run time trials then two twenty five lap feature events.

JACK HAWKSWORTH MEDICAL UPDATE

INDYCAR announced that Verizon IndyCar Series driver Jack Hawksworth has been diagnosed with a myocardial contusion suffered in an incident July 5 during the second practice session for the Pocono INDYCAR 500 fueled by Sunoco at Pocono Raceway.
