A case of mononucleosis has prevented David Gravel from competing in tonight’s scheduled World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series event at Junction Motor Speedway in McCool Junction, Neb. The native of Watertown, Conn., looks to return to action with the series on Friday, Aug. 16 at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks, N.D. for the third round of the Gerdau Ameristeel Northern Tour.
