Sherwood Park, Alberta’s Noel Dowler, the #5 EMCO Dodge team approached the final round of the 2012 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series at Kawartha Speedway near Peterborough, ON looking for another strong finish and to finish as high as possible in the overall standings.

JASON WHITE BATTLES TO THE END

Jason White was satisfied on Saturday with the performance of his #21 Bowers & Wilkins Dodge at the Pinty’s 250, calling it the “best running car we’ve had this season.” Unfortunately for White, the car’s performance wasn’t quite enough to give him the edge he needed to move up in the season standings.

The team showed grit and determination throughout the final event.

There is not a dirt track on the USAC Amsoil National Sprint Car Series schedule that Tracy Hines has been more prolific at than the famed Eldora Speedway. The native of New Castle, Ind., continued his proficiency in a sprint car at the half-mile during the 4-Crown Nationals on Saturday, Sept. 22, earning his second win of the season at Eldora and the ninth of his career at the Ohio oval aboard a sprinter.
