Organizers of the Honda Indy Toronto today announced that Cooper Tire & Rubber Company has signed an agreement to become the official tire of the event and will have an extensive interactive fan zone during the annual racing festival, June 12-14.

In this weekend's Duel in Detroit, Tony Kanaan's No. 10 Chevrolet entry for Chip Ganassi Racing Teams will feature Taylor Swift's 1989 World Tour on board. Swift is set to perform at Ford Field in Detroit on May 30th.

Verizon IndyCar Series driver Conor Daly was the guest on the Verizon IndyCar Series media teleconference to discuss the Chevrolet Dual in Detroit presented by Quicken Loans.

The Chevrolet Indy Duel in Detroit will mark the Verizon IndyCar Series’ sixth visit to Detroit, and it’s fourth since 2008. The Motor City hosted Indy car racing from 1989-91 in Downtown Detroit. The race moved to Belle Isle Park from 1992-2001 and 2007-2008 and returned in 2012. The 2015 event will mark the 16th year for Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) to compete at the Raceway at Belle Isle Park and the team’s 18th and 19th races.

Schmidt Peterson Motorsports announced on Tuesday, May 26 that Conor Daly will drive the No. 5 Arrow Electronics Honda for the “Dual in Detroit” at Belle Isle Raceway on Saturday, May 30 and Sunday, May 31.
