There’s a lot of rear-view mirror watching in the track championship battles as the 2019 season edges past halfway at South Boston Speedway.

One of the pleasant surprises of the 2019 ARCA Menards Series season has to be the charge by Munford, Alabama’s Bret Holmes to the front of the series championship point standings. Holmes (No. 23 Holmes II Excavation Chevrolet) sits second entering Saturday’s Menards 250 presented by MatrixCare at Elko Speedway, just 30 points behind leader Michael Self (No. 25 Sinclair Lubricants Toyota).

In hopes of getting some extra track time in preparation of Chevrolet Silverado 250 Truck Series race in August, ThorSport Racing drivers took to the track by competing in an IMSA IMPC Race this past weekend at Bowmanville.

The hottest driver in all of motorsports right now isn’t Alex Bowman, winner of the recent Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Chicagoland Speedway. It’s not Simon Pagenaud, who drove to victory in the Indianapolis 500, either. Not to take away from either driver’s accomplishments, they aren’t the talk of the sport the way Hailie Deegan is.

The 1970's and 80's were chock full of those wonderful, wedge-shaped sports cars such as the Triumph TR7, Fiat X1/9 and more. But in the American sales market, two models stood head and shoulders above the rest; Pontiac's Fiero and the MR2 from Toyota.

A new face will join the the Pro-4 Modified Series at New Hampshire's Hudson International Speedway on July 21st for the Jim Darlington Memorial when Indianapolis racer Stephen Cox attempts to qualify for the event.

Sports can be so much fun to engage with, especially from a fan’s point of view. There is so much energy that goes into each sport, and it’s ideal for those who love competition. NASCAR racing especially is filled with adrenaline making it exciting to watch.

Why would cyclists choose to travel long distances – thousands of miles, putting themselves through harsh conditions such as dust and rain? After all, it is much faster and safer, taking a train or flying all the way. The truth is, only a few that own those bikes understand the feeling.

Majeski opened his return to the ARCA Menards Series at Chicagoland (Ill.) Speedway by leading practice Thursday afternoon at the 1.5-mile speedway.
