In an effort to create a better overall experience for all of its fans, officials announced Tuesday that the grandstands at Texas Motor Speedway will be completely smoke-free, including all electronic cigarette devices, beginning this year.

Pocono Raceway announces event names for two of the ‘The Tricky Triangle’s’ NASCAR-sanctioned races this season. The July 28th NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race will be the Gander Outdoors 150 and the July 29th Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race will be the Gander Outdoors 400.

The track will post videos and photos that celebrate the history of the two-mile speedway at www.mispeedway.com/50years. In addition, fans can follow along with a special timeline chronicling the key historical events.

Daytona International Speedway and NASCAR will take fan-friendliness to a new level on the evening of Saturday, Feb. 10 with the Speedweeks Premiere At DAYTONA event in the speedway infield’s UNOH Fanzone.

Atlanta native and comedy sketch actor Kenan Thompson of “Saturday Night Live” fame will return to his home city of Atlanta to serve as the grand marshal for the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018.

Pocono Raceway announced today they will become the first motorsports facility in North America to house an inclusive playground in their infield. The playground will be designed for children of all ages and abilities to learn, grown and play together. Once built, the nearly 5,000 square foot playground will be recognized as a National Demonstration Site, making it one of top 100 inclusive playgrounds in the country. The playground will be another amenity available to race weekend camping and Infield Block Party guests. It will also be open to local residents and track visitors to use throughout the spring, summer and fall months free of charge.

Darlington Raceway announced Wednesday that the track will receive a significant investment for a capital improvement project, slated to begin immediately.

Pocono Raceway announced today a multi-year partnership with Artic Glacier Holdings, Inc., the largest producer of packaged ice in Canada and among the largest producers in the United States.

In 2018, MIS will debut a new high-end campground, seating option, ticket package and hospitality area. A new high-end campground will overlook Turn 1 with upscale amenities. In addition, countertop seating will be added to rows in the Turn 1 Grandstands. The track is also introducing a new all-you-can eat ticket package and the track’s hospitality area will move to Turn 1.

JAG Metals LLC, a local metal supply company based in Weatherford with multiple locations that specializes in quality metal buildings, components, steel fabrication and roofing materials, has signed a multi-year renewal as the entitlement sponsor of the annual fall NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoff race at Texas Motor Speedway.
