STP®, one of the most recognized brands in motorsports history, has begun its 60th anniversary celebration as it prepares for the STP 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on March 30th at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.

In addition to sponsoring the spring NASCAR Sprint Cup race and August Nationwide event at BMS, Food City now is a presenting partner of the Battle at Bristol, the college football game between the University of Tennessee and Virginia Tech to be played Sept. 10, 2016 in the infield of the famed speedway.

At this time, the NASCAR Sprint Cup pre-race and Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway are on hold due to weather. There appears to be a mid to late afternoon window and we are hopeful to begin drying the track at that time for the running of the event.

In Bristol Motor Speedway , we have a track that dries in less than an hour, equipment here to do it and lights that allow us to go well into the evening. We are very hopeful and fully intend to run the Food City 500 tomorrow.

Matt Kenseth was a happy driver when he left Martinsville Speedway last fall and when he stopped by the track earlier this week, he was still feeling pretty good about that second-place run and his chances in the STP 500 on March 30.

Clint Bowyer paid a visit to Raleigh Tuesday night to take in an NHL game, but he couldn’t stop talking about Martinsville Speedway. It’s the track he used to love to hate. Now he just loves the historic Virginia oval.

Country music singer/songwriter Thomas Rhett will rev up Kentucky Speedway's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Quaker State 400 presented by Advance Auto Parts race day when he takes the Kroger Prerace Concert Stage June 28.

The multi-GRAMMY nominated, award winning, American singer-songwriter and actor BILLY RAY CYRUS will get race day started in country/rock style at Auto Club Speedway on Sunday, March 23 when he performs a pre-race concert beginning at 10 a.m. on the O’Reilly Auto Parts Fan Zone main stage.

Building upon the success of its August debut, Bristol LIVE expands its reach for the March 2014 event, adding two FM and two AM signals to its existing scanner frequency.
