The 29th Army Band, Virginia Army National Guard will perform the National Anthem prior to the STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway Sunday. The 29th Army Band is one of the oldest and most decorated military bands in the nation.

For a month Timothy Peters has enjoyed the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series points lead without turning a lap. Now, he says, it’s time to get back to work.

Olympic Medalist skier Bode Miller and his wife, AVP pro beach volleyball player, Morgan, will serve as Honorary Starters for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ Auto Club 400 at Auto Club Speedway on Sunday, March 23.

No. 88 National Guard Driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. will liven up Martinsville Speedway’s Party Plaza with a scheduled appearance on March 30 prior to the STP 500. Earnhardt, off to one of the best starts of his NASCAR Sprint Cup career, his second in the series points after four races.

The Warbirds will offer up an encore flyover performance for the STP 500 at Martinsville Speedway, repeating their amazing effort from last fall.

STP®, one of the most recognized brands in motorsports history, has begun its 60th anniversary celebration as it prepares for the STP 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on March 30th at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.

In addition to sponsoring the spring NASCAR Sprint Cup race and August Nationwide event at BMS, Food City now is a presenting partner of the Battle at Bristol, the college football game between the University of Tennessee and Virginia Tech to be played Sept. 10, 2016 in the infield of the famed speedway.

At this time, the NASCAR Sprint Cup pre-race and Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway are on hold due to weather. There appears to be a mid to late afternoon window and we are hopeful to begin drying the track at that time for the running of the event.

In Bristol Motor Speedway , we have a track that dries in less than an hour, equipment here to do it and lights that allow us to go well into the evening. We are very hopeful and fully intend to run the Food City 500 tomorrow.

Matt Kenseth was a happy driver when he left Martinsville Speedway last fall and when he stopped by the track earlier this week, he was still feeling pretty good about that second-place run and his chances in the STP 500 on March 30.
