NASCAR Truck Series

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series heads to the Pocono Mountains this week for the annual running of the Overton's 150 at Pocono Raceway. Currently, there are 30 trucks on the preliminary entry list. Here's a look at who to watch for this week at Pocono.

Driver Quote: “Pocono is certainly a very unique track,” said Bell.  “I ran the XFINITY race here last year, but I’m really looking forward to getting back on track at Pocono in the Truck Series.  We continue to work hard as a team, and are definitely seeing progress each week.  I feel confident that we’ll have another strong truck this weekend, and hope we can get a solid finish with it.”

Sauter will pilot chassis no. 118, which he raced to his first win of the season at Dover International Speedway. He also ran this chassis at Atlanta Motor Speedway, where he finished third, and Charlotte Motor Speedway, where he finished second.

In NASCAR, there are big teams who run up front and contend for the win each week and there are also smaller teams. The smaller teams are some of the hardest working teams in NASCAR, with some teams only having volunteers to help them out.  In this case, those smaller teams are working 24/7 toward the next race.

Sauter will pilot chassis no. 047 which he raced to a 13th-place finish at Eldora last year after starting from the 8th position. Sauter continues to lead the driver and owner championship point standings by 28 points after the 10th race of the season. He has one win and 10 playoff points.
