In his 100th Toyota Tundra start, Kyle Busch captured his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) victory of the season in Friday night’s NC Education Lottery 200.

Busch led 90 of 134 laps in Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway and completed a dominating victory in the event, sweeping both early stages of the race and taking the checkered flag .986 seconds ahead of runner-up Johnny Sauter.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season is in full swing as MDM Motorsports prepares for their fifth race of the season on Friday, May 19. NASCAR XFINITY Series (NXS) driver Brandon Jones will pilot the No. 99 Roland Chevrolet Silverado in the N.C. Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway located in Concord, N.C.

News and notes: Spencer last raced at Charlotte Motor Speedway in his Legends Cars days. Having just come off his top 20 run at Kansas Speedway he feels comfortable with the truck going in to the next 1.5 mile track this Friday. Spencer noted, “While the track length is the same, the racing surface is much different. We adjusted the truck to handle better through the bumps going into turn 1 and 2.” Many thanks in addition to Grunt Style go out to new sponsor Ranch Hand, Nonna’s Italian Restaurant, Toth Landscaping, and Zak Products. The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series return to Charlotte Motor Speedway this Friday night for the annual running of the N.C. Education Lottery 200. Thirty-three trucks are currently entered so far on the entry list. So who are some drivers to keep an eye on at Charlotte?

The No. 21 Allegiant team will run chassis No. 118. Sauter drove this Chevrolet to a third-place result at Kansas Speedway earlier this year. It was also utilized by the No. 21 team four times in the second half of the 2016 season at Chicagoland Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Texas Motor Speedway (win), and Homestead-Miami Speedway.

It was big weekend for Kevin Donahue, as he made his intermediate track debut in the Toyota Tundra 250 at Kansas Speedway, driving the #63 “Blue Lives Matter” Chevy Silverado. After a miscue on pit road cost the team ten positions on the track, Kevin battled back to finish 22nd.

Making his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Kaz Grala will welcome a new sponsor along for the journey on his No. 33 Chevrolet Silverado, Outlaw Fasteners.
