Toyota NASCAR Camping World Truck Series drivers Christopher Bell, Brett Moffitt and Timothy Peters along with special guest Samantha Busch were a select few who participated in a charity event at Kansas Speedway benefitting local women’s shelters. After a month-long hiatus, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) will be back in action on Friday at Kansas Speedway located in Kansas City, Kan. MDM Motorsports will field the No. 99 Chevrolet Silverado in Friday's race with Travis Miller behind the wheel.

But did you know that Jason Leffler won the pole for the inaugural Cup Series race at Kansas Speedway in 2001? He won it in the No. 01 Dodge for Chip Ganassi Racing with a speed of 176.499 mph and is the only driver to capture his first career Cup Series pole at Kansas.

The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series and the Camping World Truck Series travel to Kansas Speedway this weekend. The Truck Series race is set for Friday at 8:30 p.m. while the Cup Series Go Bowling 400 will close out the activities Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m. Both events will be televised on FS1.

Stewart Friesen and the Halmar Friesen Racing team head to Kansas City, Kansas, this weekend to compete in the fourth race of the 2017 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season.

After the disappointment of getting caught up in a Lap 2 crash in the season-opener at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, Young’s Motorsports driver Tyler Young has never been so ready to get back behind the wheel in Friday’s Toyota Tundra 250 at Kansas Speedway.

Self has one start at Kansas Speedway in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, occurring last May. Self started 29th and finished 25th. Self also has two ARCA Racing Series starts at the 1.5-mile track, with his best finish of 12th coming in 2015.

News and notes: This will be Spencer Boyd’s first start at Kansas Speedway. The race is also a bit of homecoming for Boyd, a Missouri native, with several friends and family in attendance. Along for the ride is new associate sponsor, Excessive Carts as well as Lilly Trucking and Bubba Burger. Fans can find Spencer “Cruisin’ the Campground” throughout the weekend in his custom golf cart and at the NASCAR Camping World Truck series autograph session at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.

Reikken has renewed its partnership for a third year with MB Motorsports, the sole surviving original team in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

Austin Wayne Self will join Niece Motorsports at Kansas Speedway, piloting the No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado for the Friday night NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) event.
