Timothy Peters captured the checkered flag in Saturday afternoon's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) race at Alabama's Talladega Superspeedway.

Tyler Reddick won the 21 Means 21 Pole Award Friday afternoon at Talladega Superspeedway in his Brad Keselowski Racing No. 19 Ford, with a fast lap of 186.827 mph. It is Reddick’s first career pole in 13 starts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series.

MATT CRAFTON, No. 88 Menards/Fishers Toyota Tundra, ThorSport Racing - Starting Position: 3rd - What did you think of the new qualifying format? "I liked it -- definitely a lot better than what they had when they were 10 or 15 minute segments especially when we're going to do exactly what we did right there and all the fans and all the people on TV can actually enjoy it and don't have to wait and go get a beer in between while we're sitting out there on pit road."

ANIEL SUAREZ, No. 35 Arris Toyota Tundra, WinTron Racing - How was practice today and what is your outlook for Talladega? "Thank you. Hello to everyone. To be honest, I didn't really know exactly what to expect. A new race track, a new truck and so I went there and tried to learn with everything."

GERMAN QUIROGA, No. 77 Net 10 Wireless Toyota Tundra, Red Horse Racing - How was practice and what is your outlook this weekend at Talladega? "Thank you. Hello to everybody. Practice went pretty good, pretty smooth for the No. 77 Net 10 Wireless team. The truck was fast. We got in the draft and we tried to setup a lap, but we weren't in a good position and so we came back to pit road and start changing things that we knew weren't going to work."

DARRELL WALLACE JR., No. 54 Toyota Care Toyota Tundra, Kyle Busch Motorsports - How was the practice session this morning? "This and Daytona are probably the only two tracks where we don't worry about where we're at on the speed charts. Had some issues early on in practice that kept us from getting out in the big pack draft."

This weekend Talladega Superspeedway hosts the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series while the NASCAR Nationwide Series takes a break from competition. Talladega is the last race in the Contender Round as the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion continues.

Jimmy Weller is a big fan of superspeedway racing. After recording a career-best ninth-place finish in the season-opening race at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway, Weller is hoping to repeat that run in his No. 08 Geneva-Liberty Steel Chevrolet Silverado this weekend. Saturday's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race will be Weller's first race of any kind at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.
