Cale Gale made just his second NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) start of 2013 in the Lucas Oil 150 at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR) on Friday.

NTS Motorsports has released Ron Hornaday, Jr. of his driving duties, following the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Phoenix International Raceway. The driver for the No. 9 NTS Motorsports truck will be announced prior to the season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Tundra driver Erik Jones' victory in Friday night's race at Phoenix International Raceway enabled Toyota to clinch its sixth NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) manufacturer's championship in 10 years participating in the series. Toyota regains the series' top manufacturer position after previously winning a record five straight NCWTS manufacturer's championships from 2006 to 2010.

Valley of the Sun native Destinee Quinn will perform “The Star Spangled Banner” live at Phoenix International Raceway prior to the Lucas Oil 150 NASCAR Camping World Series race on Friday, Nov. 8, track officials announced today. The Lucas Oil 150 is scheduled to start at 6 p.m. MST.

Making the final West Coast swing of the 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season, Brennan Newberry and the No. 24 Qore-24 team unload at the one-mile Phoenix International Raceway for the 21st race of the year. This will make Newberry's first-career start at the Avondale, Arizona track.

CAMRY CHASERS: Two races remain in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) 10-race Chase for the Sprint Cup championship playoff, and Toyota driver Matt Kenseth currently trails leader Jimmie Johnson by seven points. Kyle Busch sits fourth in the standings -- 52 points behind Johnson, while Clint Bowyer is seventh -- 69 points from the leader.

PIR will finish its 2013 NASCAR season with four races, culminating with the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race on Sunday at 1 p.m. MST., the semifinal in the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup.
