After working their way up from a 20th-place starting position to race much of the Kroger 250 inside the top five, James Buescher and the No. 31 Rheem Chevy slipped back in the pack during a late race green-flag run.

Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender, Jeb Burton, captured his first career pole Friday at Martinsville Speedway. Burton set a track qualifying record after turning a lap of 19.589 seconds.

Tundra driver Johnny Sauter earned his second win of the 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) season in only the second race of the year on Saturday at Martinsville Speedway.

Johnny Sauter’s hot start to the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season continued Saturday afternoon with a win in the Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway.

After suffering through some bad luck last year, Johnny Sauter is off to a strong start in 2013, having now won the first two races of the season. Sauter would take the lead from young Jeb Burton on a late race restart with 17 laps to go and never look back to take the victory.

Johnny Sauter's started from the pole for the Kroger 250 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Martinsville Speedway, but as good as his No. 98 Carolina Nut Co. / Curb Records Toyota practiced Friday, capped off by a fourth-place qualifying effort, Sauter's looking to repeat his winning performance from April 2011.

At the end of Camping World Truck Series qualifying, it'd be Jeb Burton scoring his first career pole in his seventh career truck start. The 20-year-old lapped the track in 19.589 seconds, 96.666 mph.
