One of the most recognizable of Bristol Motor Speedway’s guest initiative programs takes shape for 2013 with at least three new partners. The Fan-Friendly Lodging Program identifies properties with reduced rates and nightly minimums to help ease the cost of attending events at Bristol Motor Speedway. It is just one of the more than half-dozen such programs established at BMS in the last three years aimed at adding value to the pilgrimage made by guests to the East Tennessee mountains.

For the third straight spring, Dover International Speedway will offer race fans the unique, free opportunity to roam the frontstretch of the Monster Mile with the return of the 5-hour ENERGY Open Track Session.

When Ed and Paula Wagaman made their first trip to Martinsville Speedway from Palestine, WV, in 2007, they had no intentions of becoming race fans. They just wanted to see a race.

As it has for more than five decades, Speedway Motorsports, Inc. (NYSE: TRK) will again expand its Fans First platform in 2013. New initiatives will include a four-tiered program reaching across a variety of fan bases, including long-time fans, first-time fans, families and those fans interested in the most exclusive race experience in motorsports.

As fans look towards the upcoming season, a highlight on the Camping World Truck Series calendar is a trip to Canadian Tire Motorsports Park on September 1st. In anticipation for that event, CTMP continues making improvements to the facility, and will use the 7th Annual Canadian Motorsports Expo powered by Inside Track Motorsports News to highlight those changes.

NASCAR® and Featherlite Trailers announced today that the Iowa-based company has agreed to extend its long-term partnership with NASCAR. The six-year extension ensures that Featherlite Trailers will be the Official Trailer of NASCAR through 2018. Entering its 13th year as an Official Partner, Featherlite Trailers built its first race car transporter for owner Richard Childress 20 years ago, dating its relationship with the sport back to 1993.

Her face and name were among the regulars in the ARCA garage between 2008 and 2010. She was a national spokesperson for several organizations. This young lady even sat on the front row at Daytona in the ARCA race in 2009, but hasn’t been heard from or seen much of in the past couple of years until now.

From Homestead to Las Vegas, a bevy of NASCAR awards have been given out in the past two months. And this past weekend, a few more accolades were distributed to a number of industry personnel who are integral to every NASCAR race weekend.

As NASCAR prepares to return to Dover International Speedway for the May 31-June 2 and Sept. 27-29, 2013 race weekends, the track has announced that NASCAR Sprint Cup Series qualifying will return to its Friday afternoon time. For the past few years, the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series has qualified on Saturday afternoon, just prior to the day’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race.
