As a race driver, Cale Gale knows it is best to come close, but not touch the curbs at Martinsville Speedway. Thursday he got closer than he’s ever been to those infamous curbs and he was smiling the entire time.

By taking the checkered flag and firmly planting it in the Talladega infield on Saturday afternoon, Parker Kligerman put to rest two worries he’s been carrying around for quite a while.

NASCAR has penalized the No. 57 team in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series as a result of rule infractions discovered during opening day inspection last Thursday, Oct. 4 at Talladega Superspeedway.

Superspeedway on Saturday afternoon after being involved in 'the big one' on the final lap of the fred's 250 powered by Coca-Cola. With solid pit strategy and a fast truck, Lofton led the field for 20 circuits with his pink and black Chevrolet. During the final laps, Lofton was shuffled out of line and made vulnerable in the back of the field where he was collected in a multi-truck accident coming to the checkered flag.

Ross Chastain ran into bad luck on a superspeedway for the second time this season sending the Melon 1 Toyota to the garage halfway through the NCWTS Fred’s 250 Powered by Coca-Cola Saturday afternoon at the Talladega Superspeedway.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series start number 300 for Red Horse Racing was the charm for driver Parker Kligerman and the No. 7 Toyota Tundra team at Talladega Superspeedway on Saturday. Rebounding from an unscheduled pit stop to replace a faulty battery with less than 20 laps to go, Kligerman made a power move to charge back to the front with just a few short laps remaining to capture his first career series win in the fred's 250 powered by Coca-Cola.

Race Recap: Ron Hornaday approached the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) fred's 250 powered by Coca-Cola at Talladega Superspeedway looking to improve on his 2011 finish at the 2.66-mile track by just one position.
