As youth continues to be served in the Camping World Truck Series with first time winners conquering the headlines, Parker Kligerman is working hard to join the list. The 22-year-old Connecticut native has been knocking on the door to Victory Lane but has yet to have anyone answer.

Race Recap: Four-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) champion Ron Hornaday has grown accustomed to celebrating in victory lane at the end of the night throughout his career. But this week, after back to back finishes outside the top-20 of 30th and 33rd at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Iowa Speedway in recent weeks, a top-15 finish in Friday night's 13th Annual Kentucky 201 at Kentucky Speedway was a positive change for the all-time series winner. Hornaday, who overcame handling woes and a vibration late in the race, held on to finish 14th when the checkered flag flew at laps 134.

Claiming the victory last night at Kentucky Speedway, James Buescher and the No. 31 Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.) team completed a sweep of the 2012 Kentucky races, en route to the team’s fourth victory of the season. After coming off a tough week at the short track in Iowa, Turner Motorsports brought back chassis TMS-214. This is the same chassis that had visited victory lane on three different occasions prior to the Kentucky 201. After a race that took a while to get momentum with numerous yellow flags, Buescher continued to show his dominance on the 1.5- mile intermediate ovals with a decisive victory.

Richard Childress Racing teammates finished third (Ty Dillon), fourth (Joey Coulter) and 18th (Tim George Jr.).

Turner Motorsports driver James Buescher became the first driver to earn back-to-back Kentucky Speedway NASCAR Camping World (NCWTS) victories by leading 64 of 134 Kentucky 201 laps and guiding his No. 31 truck beneath the checkered flag 1.292 seconds ahead of Parker Kligerman in the No. 7 Red Horse Racing truck tonight.

Seven drivers led laps in Friday night’s NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Kentucky Speedway. Ryan Blaney was among the elite group in the No. 29 Cooper Standard RAM, leading 13 circuits in the Kentucky 201. Each driver was quick to point out how critical “clean air” was in the 134-lap event.

The crew definitely did a good job preparing for that race. It’s a place I had been to multiple times this year, so it was pretty easy going back there and knowing what to do. I think we have a pretty good race truck here this weekend. We don’t really have initial speed right off the bat, but should be pretty fast on long runs. Looking forward to tonight’s race and tomorrow (Nationwide) also. I was definitely busy this week after the win at Iowa. Hopefully, we can do it again. I wouldn’t mind that.”

Red Horse Racing’s Parker Kligerman and Turner Motorsports’ Miguel Paludo opened Kentucky Speedway’s doubleheader event weekend by topping the speed charts in NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) practice sessions for tonight’s Kentucky 201.
