This Week's Silverado...Piquet Jr. and the No. 30 Qualcomm team will unload chassis TMS-222 for this weekend's event at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. TMS-222 will take to the track for the first time this weekend, as it is a brand-new chassis for the Turner Motorsports team.

James Buescher’s Las Vegas Pre Race

Silverado returns to the desert for their yearly visit to Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Buescher and the Turner Motorsports team is coming off a dominant win at Kentucky Speedway and the team’s fourth win on an intermediate 1.5-mile oval. Buescher has an average finish of 6.2 on 1.5-mile ovals in 2012.

CALE GALE SCORES A TOP-20 FINISH IN KENTUCKY

Cale Gale and the No. 33 Rheem team secured a top-20 finish after fighting back from a broken radiator with less than 50 laps to go. Gale was racing inside the top 10 when a piece of debris punctured the radiator and forced Gale to pull behind the wall for repairs. The team replaced the radiator in less than 10 minutes and got Gale back on track to finish 19th in the Kentucky 201 at Kentucky Speedway.

Race Recap: Four-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) champion Ron Hornaday has grown accustomed to celebrating in victory lane at the end of the night throughout his career. But this week, after back to back finishes outside the top-20 of 30th and 33rd at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Iowa Speedway in recent weeks, a top-15 finish in Friday night's 13th Annual Kentucky 201 at Kentucky Speedway was a positive change for the all-time series winner. Hornaday, who overcame handling woes and a vibration late in the race, held on to finish 14th when the checkered flag flew at laps 134.

Buescher tames Kentucky en route to fourth win of 2012

Claiming the victory last night at Kentucky Speedway, James Buescher and the No. 31 Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.) team completed a sweep of the 2012 Kentucky races, en route to the team’s fourth victory of the season. After coming off a tough week at the short track in Iowa, Turner Motorsports brought back chassis TMS-214. This is the same chassis that had visited victory lane on three different occasions prior to the Kentucky 201. After a race that took a while to get momentum with numerous yellow flags, Buescher continued to show his dominance on the 1.5- mile intermediate ovals with a decisive victory.
