Racing at Michigan International Speedway... Justin Lofton will race at Michigan International Speedway for the third time in his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) career this weekend in the No. 6 Lofton Cattle Chevrolet Silverado. In addition to his NCWTS experience on the 2.0-mile oval, Lofton has one NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start and two starts in the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Racing Series.

Taking on the Truck Series at Michigan International Speedway... Cale Gale will make his NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) debut at Michigan International Speedway on Saturday afternoon, August 18. The Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender currently has two NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) and two Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) Racing Series starts at the two-mile oval.

The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) heads from the Pocono mountains to the Irish Hills of Michigan for the VFW 200 at Michigan International Speedway. Paludo has one previous start at the 2.0-mile D-shaped oval. In 2011, Paludo started ninth and finished third, which remains his career-best NCWTS finish.

Jason White on Michigan: “We all know that Michigan is a wide and fast race track. But the new pavement has taken it to a whole new level as we saw with the Cup cars. We were lucky enough to test there at the Goodyear tire test recently and there is so much grip in the track which really allows the truck to handle through the corners. Michigan has always been a horsepower track and we have an awesome engine package from Roush Yates Engines and that will play a crucial part for us this weekend. I think the groove on the new pavement will widen out as the race goes on and we will very likely have an awesome three-wide finish.”

This Week's Silverado...The No. 30 Autotrac Chevrolet Silverado team will bring chassis TMS-218 to Michigan International Speedway's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) VFW 200. This chassis is making a quick turnaround, after debuting at Pocono Raceway earlier this month.

Four-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) champion, Ron Hornaday has 51 wins to his resume, yet there are still eight tracks on the 2012 schedule that have eluded him, including the two-mile tri-oval of Michigan International Speedway (MIS)

John Wes Townley will pilot RAB Racing Chassis No. 48 in Saturday's VFW 200 at Michigan International Speedway. A workhorse of the 2012 season, this Toyota Tundra raced at Kansas Speedway in April, Charlotte Motor Superspeedway in May, twice in the month of June, at Texas Motor Speedway and Kentucky Speedway, and at Chicagoland Speedway in July.

For the second time in as many races, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will visit a facility with a newly repaved surface as the teams and drivers head to Michigan International Speedway to compete in the VFW 200. Timothy Peters and the No. 17 Red Horse Racing team have prepared a brand-new Tundra for battle, hoping to increase their chances of finishing up front.

Two-time NASCAR Camping World Truck Series champion Todd Bodine travels with his No. 11 Toyota Care Tundra team to Michigan International Speedway this weekend, where he has shown solid consistency at the 2-mile oval. In seven previous NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) starts, Bodine has produced five top-10 finishes, and has completed 100 percent of the laps in every event.

Newest in the Stable: Second-year NASCAR Camping World Truck Series driver Parker Kligerman joined Red Horse Racing last Thursday as the third member of the organization's driver lineup. Kligerman will make his first appearance in the No. 7 Red Horse Racing Toyota Tundra on Saturday at Michigan International Speedway for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) VFW 200.
