Michael Annett’s first start for JR Motorsports at Talladega Superspeedway in 2017 gave him his best finish in six NXS attempts on the 2.66-mile track, a seventh-place showing.

Cole Custer, driver of the No. 00 Ford for Stewart-Haas Racing, banked the $100,000 bonus in the NASCAR Xfinity Series’ Dash 4 Dash program in last Friday night’s event at Richmond. He will compete at Talladega Superspeedway in the MoneyLion 300 on April 27 for a chance to win the prize once again.

Austin Cindric equaled his career-best NASCAR Xfinity Series career finish Friday night at Richmond Raceway. Cindric scored a second-place finish, his second top-10 in three races at Richmond and his sixth top-10 finish in 2019. The second-place finish also qualifies Cindric and the No. 22 LTi Printing team for the third Dash-4-Cash race at Talladega Superspeedway and the opportunity to collect at $100,000 bonus.

"Wow, what a battle by my No. 2 Anderson's Maple Syrup team today to claim our fifth-consecutive top-five finish at one of my most challenging tracks. Our car was ok in practice this morning, but we lacked what we normally have for speed and handling. Part of that is also Richmond Raceway just being such a challenge for me to drive."

COLE CUSTER: “Yeah, we have always had speed everywhere we have gone so far. I think we get better as the race goes on and we make adjustments and then when we come back to some of these tracks a second time we will be even better. We have the speed right now and I think we can get even better but we are definitely doing things right at this moment.”

Supra driver Riley Herbst was the highest-finishing Toyota driver in Friday night’s NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) event at Richmond Raceway as he finished ninth in his 2019 NXS debut.

“We’re going to another short track this weekend in Richmond! We just came out of Bristol with another Top-10 finish. I’ve got Elliott Sadler as my teammate in the No. 10 for Kaulig Racing, so I'm going to use his veteran experience."

Michael Annett’s first start for JR Motorsports at Richmond Raceway in 2017 is his best over the last four races there, earning an eighth-place finish.

Nemechek and the No. 23 team will utilize chassis no. 216. This chassis was raced this year by John Hunter Nemechek at ISM Raceway (start: 13th/finish: 9th).
