Both will Pilot the No. 62 Ford for Kevin Harvick Inc.

Harrisburg, N.C. (November 10, 2023) – Kevin Harvick Inc. (KHI) announced today Josh Berry and Ryan Preece will join the team’s late-model program competing in races during November and December 2023.

Berry, driver of the No. 4 Ford in the Cup Series, will return to his roots competing in three Late Model Stock races behind the wheel of the No. 62 Ford Mustang. Berry will make his KHI debut on November 11 for the Fall Brawl at Hickory Motor Speedway where he will be paired for the first time with his Cup crew chief, Rodney Childers.

“I’m really looking forward to running the KHI late model,” said Berry. “Late Model Stock racing is something I’ve done a lot of in the past, so to get to do that with KHI and Kevin as they are rebuilding is going to be a lot of fun.”

In addition to this weekend’s race at Hickory Motor Speedway, Berry will also compete in the South Carolina 400 at Florence Motor Speedway on November 18 and the Thanksgiving Classic at Southern National Motorsports Park on November 26.

On December 3, Preece will climb behind the wheel of the No. 62 Morton Buildings Ford Super Late Model for the coveted Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway. This will mark Preece’s second appearance competing in the late model crown jewel event.

“The Snowball Derby is a prestigious race for all those full fender guys, and me coming from the Northeast and open wheels, I almost feel like the outlaw,” Preece said. “That guys who is not from the series and I’m going to come in and try to take their trophy. Driving for Kevin Harvick and KHI, and representing Morton Buildings, it would mean a lot to me to bring the Tom Dawson trophy back to North Carolina and maybe back to Connecticut one day.”

WTRAndretti Enters Full-Season GTD Entry with Lamborghini Squadra Corse for 2024

Kyle Marcelli and Danny Formal to Share Full-Season Driving Duties in the No. 45 WTRAndretti Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2

(BROWNSBURG, Indiana.) November 10, 2023 — Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti (WTRAndretti) and Automobili Lamborghini announced today a full season effort with the No. 45 WTRAndretti Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 in the Grand Touring Daytona (GTD) Class Championship of the 2024 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season.

Since 2015, WTRAndretti has seen great success with Lamborghini, taking home nine (9) Lamborghini Super Trofeo (LST) North America Championship titles, back- to- back championships in the PRO Class Championships and a Lamborghini Grand Finals title. The team plans to continue to field four to six Lamborghini Super Trofeos in all four classes in 2024.

Longtime WTRAndretti drivers, and reigning Lamborghini Super Trofeo PRO Champions, Kyle Marcelli and Danny Formal will be the team’s full season co-drivers of the No. 45 WTRAndretti Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 entry for the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. Additional drivers and the livery of the No. 45 WTRAndretti Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO2 will be announced in the coming weeks.

Coming off a second-consecutive PRO class championship in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America series, Marcelli is ready to bring his experience and expertise behind the wheel of a Lamborghini GT3 full season in 2024. In 2023, the Canadian-driver pulled “double duty” while racing in the GTD Class co-piloting the Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 – even earning GTD pole position for the famed Twelve Hours of Sebring. Marcelli, a multi-time sportscar champion, also has accolades in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge, SRO GT World Challenge America Europe Le Mans series and more.

As co-driver pairing with his Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America teammate Marcelli, Formal joins as the other half of the full-season pairing and there is no doubt that the pair will be a force to be reckoned with. First joining WTRAndretti in 2021, Formal alongside Marcelli have broken records en route to both LST North America PRO class championship titles in 2022 and 2023. Formal also gained experience in the competitive GTD field as an endurance co-driver in the Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 in 2023. Prior to his sportscar experience, the Costa-Rican driver worked his way up through the karting ranks earning many championship titles along the way.

The 2024 IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship season kicks off with the annual three days of Roar Before the 24 testing, January 19 – 21, 2024, followed by the endurance classic, the Rolex 24 At Daytona, January 25-28, 2024. NBC and Peacock, along with IMSA.TV, will provide flag-to-flag coverage of the race on its family of networks.

If media members are interested in speaking further with the newly announced 2024 WTRAndretti GTD drivers, please contact Megan Barnhart, mba@coforce.com, to coordinate directly.

Giorgio Sanna, Head of Motorsport, Automobili Lamborghini:
“We are particularly proud to start the GTD program with WTRAndretti, we are cooperating with success with Wayne’s team since few years in our Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America, supporting talent drivers like Danny and Kyle in their career, so we are very excited to have these drivers in our Huracán GT3 EVO 2 starting from Daytona!”

Wayne Taylor, Team Principal, Wayne Taylor Racing with Andretti:
“We’re really excited that Lamborghini has come to us and regarded us as a team that is worthy of a factory program. Danny Formal and Kyle Marcelli will be doing the full season. We’ve got a long history with Lamborghini with us running four cars a year in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series, so there’s a great relationship already built. Like I always said, everything to do with success in motorsport, is to be able to have people you can communicate with and build relationships with, so very excited about that with Lamborghini.”

Kyle Marcelli, 2024 No. 45 WTRAndretti Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Driver:
“I couldn’t be more excited to make my full time return to the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship with WTRAndretti. It has been three years in the making, first taking an opportunity with WTR to drive the Lamborghini Super Trofeo in the PRO Class in 2021, then winning back-to-back Championships in 2022 and 2023. It has always been the long-term plan in house to be back at the top level of the sport. I know the team has been working so hard to put this together and we are just thrilled that it is happening. I couldn’t be prouder to be doing it with Lamborghini. It just seems like an obvious and seamless fit for the team and us. To continue to share the cockpit with Danny, we have developed a great relationship on and off the track. We complement each other very well and in different ways. Excited for the coming season. We will make the most of it.”

Danny Formal, 2024 No. 45 WTRAndretti Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Driver:
“What can I say. 2024. My dream come true! My first full season, endurance, and sprint championship, in the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar GTD Championship with WTRAndretti and Lamborghini Squadra Corse. My dream come true. So thankful for the opportunity to share the car with my brother, Kyle Marcelli in our fourth year together. We have been pushing each other so hard these past four years. We have two Lamborghini Super Trofeo PRO Championships. Just grateful, thankful, excited, and looking forward to starting the 2024 season with a bang at Daytona and try to get a couple wins this season and hopefully a championship.”

Flying Lizard Motorsports Makes Grand Entrance in Italy for Lamborghini Super Trofeo World Finals

Campagnano di Roma, Italy (November 10, 2023) – Embarking on its second season in the fiercely competitive Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America championship, Flying Lizard Motorsports is set to culminate the year in the picturesque Italian countryside. The championship will unite with its European and Asian counterparts to determine the ultimate world champions. The thrilling conclusion begins with the final doubleheader of the North American championship, scheduled for November 16-17, followed by the final showdown on November 18-19, where all three series will converge for the quest to claim the coveted world title. This finale event will feature the participation of all four Flying Lizard Lamborghini Super Trofeo cars, each aiming to conclude the season on a successful note.

“The World Finals for the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series is such a great event,” reflected Program Manager Darren Law. “It is all about Lamborghini and great racing. It is exciting to have the opportunity to race a such great track in Italy. Last year the event was held at the Portimão circuit in Portugal and provided great racing and an exciting finish as Slade Stewart won the North American championship and almost won the World Finals. We still have a lot of racing to do, and it is a busy weekend with a total of four races in four days. Since neither the team or the drivers have been to Vallelunga, so we have all been studying the track, watching videos, and most of the guys have been putting in time on their simulators. We still have a shot to be on the podium with all our cars in both the races and the championship standings, so we can’t wait to get this event started.”

Hosting the prestigious event is the Autodromo Vallelunga Piero Taruffi circuit, sitting 20 miles north of Rome, Italy. The 2.538-mile, 15 turn circuit was first built as a sand oval in 1959 but came to its present permanent road course layout in 2005. With fast straights and tight turns, the course will surely host exciting race action to close out the season.

In the No. 14 Lamborghini Super Trofeo pink unicorn entry, drivers Slade Stewart and Andy Lee enter the final race of the year in sixth place in the championship point standings with a total of 65 points. After winning the LB Cup class championship in 2022, Stewart partnered with Lee to advance to the Pro/Am class, which provided a strong level of competition. Their top finish to date is their second-place result in race two at VIRginia International Raceway. With a maximum of 32 points still within reach, the dynamic duo harbors aspirations of clinching third place in the final standings.

For the No. 68 entry of Chris Bellomo and Johannes Van Overbeek, they hold 60 points in the championship points tally, just five points shy of their teammates in the No. 14. Their partnership commenced with the team’s lone triumph of the season in Round One, followed by podium visits with a commendable second-place finish at Road America and a respectable third place at VIRginia International Raceway. This pairing also has the potential to close out the season from third place in the final standings.

Paul Nemschoff and Marc Miller have enjoyed a strong debut season in the single-make series, steering the No. 41 entry. Their journey has been adorned with podium finishes at prestigious venues like WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen International, and VIRginia International Raceway. Currently occupying the eighth place in the Pro/Am point standings, they trail Bellomo and van Overbeek by just one point, also hinting at the possibility of concluding the season among the top three.

Representing Flying Lizard in the Am class up to this point, driver Tom Tait has exhibited remarkable progress in the No. 64 Super Trofeo car. His journey has included securing his first series podium at Road America, in addition to a pair of commendable fourth place finishes at Virginia International and Laguna Seca, along with a notable top-five finish at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. As the season approaches its conclusion, Tom Tait has decided to make a change for the final round by having his coach, professional driver Guy Cosmo, join him for the final round of the US championship event. This will be the first time Tom Tait has entered the ultra-competitive Pro/Am class and Cosmo’s season debut with Flying Lizard in the Super Trofeo series.

The world finals are set to commence with test sessions on Monday, November 13, with the North American series’ final two races scheduled for Thursday and Friday, November 16 and 17, respectively. Subsequently, all three series will convene for the World Finals, which promises an electrifying showdown to determine the series’ top competitors. Notably, the Am and LB Cup classes will compete separately from the Pro and Pro Am classes, each vying for supremacy in two final races to crown the World Champions.

All the high-stakes action will be broadcast live on the Lamborghini Squadra Corse YouTube page, with live updates available through Flying Lizard Motorsports’ media channels.

Lynsi Synder-Ellingson to Receive the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America’s Bob Russo Heritage Award at 2024 MSHFA Induction Celebration Presented by Toyota this March in Daytona Beach

  • Racer, Philanthropist and In-N-Out Burger Owner and President, Snyder-Ellingson to be Honored for Her Commitment to the Future of Motorsports
  • 36th Annual Motorsports Hall of Fame of America Induction Celebration Presented by Toyota Racing March 11 – 12, 2024 in Daytona Beach

DAYTONA BEACH, Florida (November 9, 2023) – Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson, the Owner and President of In-N-Out Burger, has been named a 2024 recipient of the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America (MSHFA) Bob Russo Heritage Award for her efforts to preserve the future of drag racing in the United States. In addition to her personal and corporate support of motorsports as the third-generation leader of California’s original drive-thru restaurant – which has grown into a beloved cultural icon – Lynsi is a dedicated philanthropist, devoted mother of four, musician and even a drag racer herself. She will be formally presented with the Bob Russo Heritage Award next March during the two-day 36th Annual MSHFA Induction Celebration presented by Toyota Racing at The Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach.

Lynsi’s grandparents, Harry and Esther Snyder, founded In-N-Out Burger in 1948 and to this day, the business remains and will stay privately owned and family operated. After beginning at In-N-Out-Burger in 1999, Lynsi became owner and president in 2010 and is deeply involved with every aspect of the business.

In-N-Out Burger and the Snyder family have a long history of motorsports support and sponsorship, particularly in drag racing. In the ‘60s and ‘70s, Harry and Esther were part owners of Irwindale Raceway, about 20 miles east of Los Angeles, a track famous in part for its beloved In-N-Out-operated concession stands. But one of the most significant and recent contributions came under Lynsi’s leadership with the acquisition of the naming rights for the legendary Pomona Raceway, home since 1961 of the NHRA’s season-opening Winternationals.

A flagship motorsports facility in the Western U.S., Pomona was renamed at the beginning of this year the In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip. The new partnership includes the naming rights to NHRA’s season-ending race at Pomona, which runs for the first time this weekend, November 9 – 12, as the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals. In-N-Out’s all-in support of both the facility and its annual final race was also the catalyst for a long-term partnership extension with the NHRA that ensures the series will visit In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip through at least 2033. At a time when many dragstrips are disappearing, largely due to population sprawl, saving Pomona is a supercharged boost to the sport.

The MSHFA’s highest honor next to induction, the Bob Russo Heritage Award is named in recognition of the longtime motorsports journalist and historian and is presented only by the recommendation of the MSHFA Board of Directors in recognition of the recipient’s contributions to motorsports.

“Classic cars, muscle cars, drag racing—they’re a huge part of In-N-Out’s culture and history,” Lynsi said. “I’m so grateful to the MSHFA for this honor and tribute to my family’s legacy and love for motorsports. My father, in particular, loved drag racing. He is the reason I began racing at 18 years old just one year after he passed away. I know he, along with my grandparents and uncle, would be especially proud to receive this award.”

Lynsi’s dedicated commitment to every aspect of the company’s operation is matched by her unwavering and selfless support, oversight and direction of all of In-N-Out Burger’s philanthropic efforts through the In-N-Out Burger Foundation – which was started by her Grandma Esther and Uncle Rich Snyder – and the Slave 2 Nothing Foundation – which was started by Lynsi and her husband Sean Ellingson.

A racer herself, Lynsi competes in the NHRA Top Sportsman class in a 1969 Chevy-Hemi-powered Chevelle. She is also the founder of the In-N-Out Burger “company band” .48 Special. Lynsi plays the bass and sings while her husband Sean plays the guitar in the group that is comprised of only In-N-Out management team members.

“In-N-Out Burger is an iconic brand, and it means a great deal to us that NHRA drag racing has been such an important part of their history,” NHRA President Glen Cromwell said. “Their sponsorship of our track in Pomona and our season-ending NHRA Finals continues that special car culture connection that has been so important to both organizations, and we’ve been thrilled to work with Lynsi and the entire team at In-N-Out Burger. She’s a passionate racer who loves drag racing and has a number of special memories at the Pomona dragstrip, and it’s been really special to see the impact In-N-Out Burger has already had at the historic facility.”

The Bob Russo Heritage Award was presented for the first time since 2017 earlier this year when Bass Pro Shops Founder and CEO Johnny Morris was given the honor during the 2023 MSHFA Induction Celebration.

Morris was just the 14th recipient of the Bob Russo Heritage Award in the 35-year history of the MSHFA, but that number will actually be increased by two at next March’s induction celebration. For the first time, the MSHFA Board has recommended dual recipients in a single year with a second worthy honoree in addition to Snyder-Ellingson set to be presented with the Bob Russo Award during next March’s two-day MSHFA Induction Celebration. The additional 2024 Russo Award recipient will be announced later this month.

“In-N-Out has long been committed to motorsports and California car culture,” MSHFA President George Levy said. “But Lynsi’s support of In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip protects and elevates one of drag racing’s most cherished venues.”

The 36th Annual MSHFA Induction Celebration Presented by Toyota Racing will take place March 11 – 12, 2024 in Daytona Beach. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the MSHFA at www.mshf.com or contact MSHFA President Levy at (248) 895-1704 or glevy@mshf.com.

The MSHFA is housed in Daytona International Speedway’s Ticket & Tours Building located in front of the famed 2.5-mile DIS tri-oval. Access to the MSFHA museum is included with every Daytona International Speedway tour, which run throughout each day, or as a museum-only ticket. The museum is open daily 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. nearly year-round except major holidays. It is visited by more than 100,000 guests each year from every state in America and countries all over the world. Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Earns Fifth F4 U.S. Team Championship

AUSTIN, Texas (November 9, 2023) – With the 2023 Formula 4 United States Championship Powered by Honda (F4 U.S.) season officially complete, Patrick Woods-Toth was crowned the Driver Champion, while Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport was celebrated as the Team Champion at the annual F4 U.S. Awards Celebration on Saturday evening. Bacon Zelenka was presented the Catherine Crawford Most Improved Driver Award, and Landan Matriano Lim was awarded the Omologato Perfectly Timed Pass Award.

F4 U.S. Driver Champion

The stars had to align just right for Patrick Woods-Toth (No. 27 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F4) to arrive on the F4 U.S. scene this season. While he was an accomplished karter with four-consecutive national championships, 12 months ago, Woods-Toth had never driven a racecar. A nomination from Motomaster Ron Fellows Karting Championship (MRFKC) led to an opportunity for Woods-Toth to attend the Radford Racing School F4 U.S. Scholarship Award School, and one thing led to another. After the two-day scholarship school, MRFKC sponsored a third “lapping day” for Woods-Toth, which gave him even more experience in the Ligier JS F4. From there, he tested with Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport, and ultimately earned an opportunity to compete in the first round of the 2023 F4 U.S. season. Leaving the weekend with three podiums and only two points behind the points leader, Wood-Toth and his team were able to put together the funding to finish out the year.

By the time the final checkered flag waved at the season finale, Woods-Toth was tied with Augie Soto-Schirripa (No. 24 International Motorsport Ligier JS F4) for the most wins in 2023 with four victories (Round 4 – Road America, Round 6 – Road America, Round 9 – Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, Round 18 – Circuit of The Americas), and led the series with 14 podiums throughout the 18 contested rounds.

“I’d like to start off by thanking the series, the series partners and all the competitors,” said Woods-Toth while accepting his trophy. “This really is a world-class series, and I feel very thankful and lucky to have taken part in it. Scott [Goodyear, F4 U.S. Race Director] has really done an amazing job. He keeps everything together and makes sure that we have a fair and competitive racing environment. Coming into this season, I didn’t even know that I was going to be racing cars. So, to be up here with this trophy and this amazing accomplishment is unbelievable—it’s been a roller coaster, to say the least. Thanks to Ron Fellows and Lynda Fellows, I got to do my first race. And you know, I thought that was going to be it, but Orlando came on with Carlo Fidani and he let us carry on with the whole season. The whole team has just been working so hard between all the races and every event to get a great result. To be standing here is surreal. I don’t have many things to say. Just thank you to everyone; this is an amazing accomplishment for all of us.”

As the 2023 Driver’s Champion, Woods-Toth has secured a scholarship to compete in the 2024 FR Americas season. Valued at $215,000, the prize package includes an engine lease, a chassis lease from Ligier Automotive, two sets of tires per event from Hankook Motorsports, and entry fees from Parella Motorsports Holdings, as well as $25,000 from HPD. Other prizes include a Bell Athlete contract, a carbon Bell helmet, a custom OMP racing suit, a bespoke Omologato timepiece, Haas F1 Team guest experience at the Miami Grand Prix, and an invitation to the FIA Prize Giving Ceremony at the conclusion of the season. In addition, Woods-Toth also earned FIA Super License Points to assist in his journey on the Road to F1.

F4 U.S. Team Championship

Fielding cars for both the F4 U.S. Driver Champion, Woods-Toth, and Driver Vice Champion, Titus Sherlock (No. 31 Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport Ligier JS F4), among several others, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport won their fifth F4 U.S. Team Championship. Averaging 6.3 F4 U.S. entries per race, the Dallas-based organization has been leading the team standings since the very first checkered flag of the season at NOLA Motorsports Park. Throughout 2023, Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport drivers have accumulated seven wins, 26 podiums and 67 top-10 finishes. The award was accepted by team co-owners Garry Orton, Teena Larsen and Gill Kaszuba.

“This was a big deal,” said Teena Larsen, co-owner of Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport as they accepted the team championship trophy. “It was a great season, but we are here because of the team. Gill [Kaszuba, co-owner], thank you for stepping up and managing the F4 side. We had so many drivers—I love all of you. Thank you so much for making history for us. Patrick [Wood-Toth], Jesse [Lacey], Titus [Sherlock], Alex [Benavitz], Hannah [Greenemeier], Jett [Bowling]—thank you. It was such a great season, and honestly, it was really teamwork. We could not do this without all of you.”

“All of the mechanics and the crew and the team just did an absolutely sensational job,” said Garry Orton, co-owner of Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport. “It just couldn’t happen without you. It’s so important to Teena, Gill and I that you know that. You work so hard, you put up with me—not too often, but I’m a grumpy bugger sometimes. I really appreciate it and thank you very much. To all of the drivers, thank you so much.”

“It wasn’t easy,” added Gill Kaszuba, co-owner of Crosslink Kiwi Motorsport. “This was a team effort. If we didn’t have the guys that we have, or the engineering, or the driver development side of things, things could have turned out differently. [Winning] means a lot to me. To see these kids do as good as they do, and we know that they’re going to go on and do great things—it’s very satisfying.”

Most Improved Driver

Bacon Zelenka (No. 45 Bacon Racing Ligier JS F4) was awarded with the Catherine Crawford Most Improved Driver Award. Selected by Ligier Automotive North America, Zelenka received not only a trophy, but also a $5,000 credit from Ligier.

“This year, we were kind of an inch deep in an ocean, but now I can confidently say we’re a foot deep in the ocean,” said Zelenka, reflecting on his season. “Overall, I’m very happy with our season and the progress we made—I’m excited to build on the knowledge we gained. It’s amazing to be chosen the most improved driver. It gives me a lot of confidence, and it reassures me that my efforts aren’t going unnoticed. My improvement doesn’t stop here, and it will never stop. I love the challenge!”

Omologato Perfectly Timed Pass Award

A new award in 2023, the Omologato Perfectly Timed Pass Award recognized the driver who picked up the most positions from their starting position to their finishing position throughout the course of the 18-race season. Landan Matriano Lim (No. 2 JENSEN Ligier JS F4) was recognized as the award’s winner with 64 passes this year.

“Racing is full of highs and lows, and I am so thrilled to finish on a high,” said Matriano Lim. “We didn’t get the results we expected in the standings, but I believe this award validates my capability as a driver. When presenting the award, John [Fippin, the event emcee] said, ‘This driver made 64 successful passes.’ I was absolutely shocked and thought, ‘That guy is insane! 64?!’ Then I heard my name, and well, as a racing driver, you do have to be a little insane. This Omologato watch is the only trophy I can wear every day that reminds me of such an outstanding achievement in my career.”

F4 U.S. will kick off its 2024 season, April 11-14 at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale, La. Sell My Car or Trade-In?

If you’re deciding whether to sell your vehicle or trade it in for a new vehicle, there are a few key factors to consider. However, each route has advantages and disadvantages depending on your priorities and needs. It’s important to explore the pros and cons of selling your vehicle versus trading it in to determine the best approach for your situation.

In this article, we’ll look at factors like potential profit, convenience, effort required, and financing considerations to help you make an informed decision on whether to sell your vehicle or trade it in.

Sell My Car or Trade-In: Which Option Is Best for You?

When it’s time to ditch your current car, deciding between listing it yourself or trading it into a motor yard can be a tough choice. Both options have their pros and cons to think about:

Private listing has the chance to fetch a higher price since you can dodge dealership margins and fees. However, it takes more effort to find a buyer, negotiate, and sort out the paperwork.

Trading it in is more convenient and hassle-free, but you’ll usually get a lower price from the motor yard when they factor in repairs and their resale profit. Some yards might offer better perks if you trade instead of privately listing.

Carefully weighing up your time, transport needs, finance plans and when you want to sell it can help figure out the best route. Get competing offers from motor yards and private sale estimates to understand your options when deciding between privately listing or trading in a motor.

Selling Your Car in a Competitive Market

The used car market is very competitive, with lots of sellers trying to fetch the best price for their motor. As a seller, it’s important to do your research and spruik your vehicle right to attract buyers. Some tips for selling in a busy marketplace include:

  • Get your vehicle professionally exhibited to make it look its best. Buyers will be put off by a dirty or unkempt wagon.
  • Take top-notch snaps showcasing the interior, exterior, and any features. Photos are especially important for online listings.
  • Gather all the docs like service records, the owner’s manual, spare keys, and captioned snaps in an organized folder for buyers to check out.
  • Research the fair market value of your car based on factors like age, kays, trim level, and optional gear. Be realistic in your asking price.
  • Market your vehicle across multiple platforms like Facebook Marketplace, Gumtree, and car sales sites. A broader reach means more potential buyers.
  • If possible, respond to inquiries quickly and be flexible with test drives or meetings to fit in interested buyers.
  • Consider offering a competitive price or flexibility in negotiations to help your listing stand out. Be prepared to justify your pricing too.

Following these tips can help boost interest and ideally get you a good price even in a crowded used motor market. Doing your homework makes the sales process smoother.

Finance Considerations for a New Wagon

If you’re considering financing your next vehicle purchase, the choice between selling your current vehicle or trading it in has financing implications. You might have been asking yourself, ‘Should I sell my car privately or trade it in; will it affect financing for my next one?’ Well, trading in can be advantageous if you owe more than your car is worth, as the dealer may roll this negative equity into the new loan.

Outright selling lets you pay off your existing loan and potentially secure a better interest rate on the new one without rolled-over bills.

Lenders may also offer better rates if you have cash from a private sale to put towards the down payment rather than relying solely on a trade-in value allowance. Make sure to compare finance options whether you sell or trade to figure out the most cost-effective plan.

Tax Benefits of Trading In vs. Selling

There are some potential tax advantages to think about when trading in a motor versus privately listing it. If you trade in an old car as part pay on a new one within a certain time, you may be able to exclude some of the trade-in value from your taxable income.

But any cash from a private sale is usually taxable. Dodging the tax on the excluded worth could help lower your tax bill. It’s wise to chat with an accountant to understand your specific tax implications based on where you’re at and whether trading in or selling offers better benefits from a tax perspective.

How to Maximize Your Car’s Resale Value

To maximize the resale price when you sell or trade in your vehicle [https://www.forbes.com/advisor/car-insurance/how-to-trade-in-a-car/], it’s important to properly maintain and care for it. Keeping up-to-date service records, doing regular oil changes, and addressing any issues quickly can show buyers the car has been well looked after.

Exterior and interior cleanliness and condition also offer a good impression. Consider adding optional accessories like tinted windows or alloy rims if they suit the model.

Also, list it privately or trade it while the motor has relatively low kilometres to fetch a higher possible price. With the right upkeep and sale timing, you can optimize the resale value and get the best financial return on your vehicle.

What to Do With an Older High-Mileage Vehicle

If you’ve got an old car with lots of kilometres on the clock, you need to figure out what to do with it. Here are some options to consider:

  • List it privately — You might only get a few hundred bucks but every little bit helps. Fix any obvious issues, give it a good wash, and put some ads up on social media. Be upfront about the high kilometres.
  •
  • Trade it in — Motoryards may give you a tiny bit for it as a trade-in against something newer. Just don’t expect much since they have to offer it for sale too.
  • Sell it to a used car https://www.forbes.com/advisor/car-insurance/how-to-trade-in-a-car/ with private buyers.
  • Part it out — If it’s still running, you could strip it for spare parts to sell online or at a swap meet [Click here to learn more about swap meets].

Final Words

In the end, weighing up the pros and cons based on your unique needs will determine whether selling privately or trading in is the best route. Get written appraisals from dealers and estimates of your potential sale price to compare options head to head.

Consider factors like how much effort you want to put in versus convenience. With thorough research into values and what each path offers you financially, you’ll part ways with your current car through the optimal avenue.

What Is the Future of Car Manufacturing in the Era of NASCAR’s Evolution?

No doubt, the car industry mirrors tech advancements and what consumers want. NASCAR racing plays a huge part in that. As NASCAR evolves, so does this sector, with top-notch technology and strong safety measures at its forefront.

NASCAR also leads with green initiatives that impact how cars are made overall, including improved performance engineering and cutting-edge safety features. This makes the relationship between these two undeniable. Now, let’s dive into understanding better how changes in NASCAR shape our future rides.

High-Performance Engineering Inspired by Racing

NASCAR’s cool race cars have always shaped how normal cars are made. It looks like this will only get stronger in the future. Car makers out there lean on NASCAR for ideas about lighter materials and smarter designs to make their own vehicles faster and more fuel-efficient.

Take electric engines as an example. Seeing them used in NASCAR is making people trust that EVs can be fast, efficient, and fun. It just proves once again that what works on the racetrack often finds its way onto our roads!

Advancements in Safety: Lessons From the Track

NASCAR isn’t just about speed – it has also changed how safe our cars are. Many features that keep race car drivers safe at crazy speeds now come standard in everyday vehicles.

Car makers use tough materials and smart designs like crumple zones to help protect us better during accidents. They’ve even borrowed ideas from airbags and seatbelt systems designed for the racetrack.

Plus, dashboard tech used in NASCAR for live updates on a vehicle is becoming common, too! So next time you drive, remember that there’s likely a little bit of NASCAR keeping you safe out there.

Sustainable Practices and Eco-Friendly Innovations

NASCAR is getting greener, and everyday car makers are tagging along for the ride. NASCAR is trying out biofuels, electric engines, and even hybrids. That gets other manufacturers thinking about doing their part, too.

But it’s not just what’s under the hood. Sustainable materials inside cars and greenways make them matter a lot as well. People care more than ever about Mother Earth these days, so they want rides that aren’t only fast but kinder to our planet!

The Emphasis on Risk Management in Manufacturing

Risk management in the workplace is key in car factories, just like safety matters in NASCAR. Factories are getting smarter with cool robotics and AI to help stop any problems before they happen.

This isn’t only great for the people working there, but it also helps make cars better! The same care that goes into building race cars can be found on assembly lines around the world. This means we all get to drive higher-quality vehicles because of it.

Consumer Expectations Driving Technological Integration

Most people today know their tech and want the latest gadgets in their cars. NASCAR, being full of top-tier technology, has sparked interest in smart self-driving cars.

So car makers are putting complex communication systems and automated features into new models to keep up. It isn’t just about making driving easier but also more fun, like how interactive it is for a NASCAR driver!

Global Market Trends and NASCAR’s Influence

Cars are made for people all over the world, just like NASCAR has fans everywhere. This means car makers have to think about what everyone wants and needs in their ride.

Different places mean different cars. With stricter rules on pollution these days, electric vehicles inspired by NASCAR can really make a difference globally. So remember, it’s not only U.S. rides getting better because of racing but cars around the globe, too!

Conclusion

So, at the end of the day, NASCAR is really shaping where car-making is headed, thanks to its big tech leaps and care for safety and green living. This cool mix between race-level quality and everyday cars is totally changing what we can expect in our next ride, whether you’re a total gear-head or just someone who needs to get from A to B.
