Motorcraft/Quick Lane Team Heads Home to Martinsville

For Harrison Burton and the No. 21 Motorcraft/Quick Lane team there’s no place to race quite like the team’s home track, Martinsville Speedway. The Wood Brothers, from nearby Stuart, Va., will be making their 123rd start at the venerable half-mile oval, a string of starts that began when team founder Glenn Wood made his Cup Series debut in a 100-miler there in 1953.

“Any time the Wood Brothers team races at Martinsville, we treat it as a home race,” crew chief Brian Wilson said. “Many of our team members will stop by the shop in Stuart this weekend to see the Sweepstakes replica in person.”

The replica was built by Leonard Wood, who was the team’s crew chief back in the day and continues to crank out mechanical marvels at the age of 88.

Wilson said he and his fellow members of the current No. 21 team are proud to be carrying on the Wood family’s racing legacy.

“There’s a lot of pride in being a part of this team and knowing the history behind it,” he said.

Wilson said the Motorcraft/Quick Lane team and their rookie driver will be taking their biggest notebook yet to Martinsville, and are hoping to put that data to use in Sunday’s Xfinity 500.

“Similar to last weekend in Homestead, we tested at Martinsville earlier this year,” he said. “This was an extremely successful test for us.

“We were able to make multiple long runs. Over the two-day test we ran a total of 636 laps. By the second day we were able to post some very competitive lap times.

“When you look at the notebook from the test, as well as what we learned in the spring race, we have the most information and seat time heading into this weekend of any event this year.

“Everyone on the Motorcraft Ford is looking to capitalize on that information this Sunday.”

Practice for the Xfinity 500 is set for noon on Saturday, with qualifying at 12:45 p.m.

Sunday’s 500-lap race is scheduled to get the green flag just after 2 p.m. with TV coverage on NBC.

Stage breaks are planned for Laps 130 and 260.

Does Car Insurance Cover Injuries To Pets?

Photo by Andrew S on Unsplash

Car insurance does not automatically cover injuries to pets, but there are ways for you to add additional protections for your furry friends. The best way is to add the pet as an additional insured on your policy. A less desirable option is to purchase a separate pet liability policy from a company like Healthy Paws Pet Insurance or another provider of pet insurance coverage.

You should know several things about how car insurance handles injuries to pets and which methods of pet coverage are the best. Car insurance companies are only liable for damages to pets if they are added as an additional insured on your car policy or if you have a separate pet liability policy. “It’s unfortunate,” said Logan Quirk, an Oakland accident attorney. “We as pet owners are liable for our dog’s actions. At the same time, insuring our pets in the event of an accident is an extra expense to us.”

Regarding car insurance, animals are considered property, just like any other belonging that goes along for the ride. Animals in cars are classified as cargo and not passengers. Like different kinds of property damage from vehicle accidents, companies pay out only limited amounts for claims regarding pet injuries caused by car accidents. It is where having your pet listed on your policy can be a great way to get more coverage than you would typically get through a standard policy.

Pet Injury Coverage In Car Insurance

It is essential to have the animal insured regarding animal injuries in car accidents. Pets can also be included as additional insureds in a standard policy, with insurance covering any possible damages caused by a car accident. Whether you add your pet as an additional insured on your auto policy or get a pet liability policy, the best way to protect your pet is to have them listed as an additional insured. This way, the total limits of coverage on their policy will be able to apply if he gets injured or killed in a car accident. Different levels of coverage can be used when adding pets as additional insureds, and those with higher limits on their policies have more protection for their pets.

Pet Injury Coverage

If you purchase a separate pet liability policy, this will include the pet as an insured and information on a set of coverage limits that they offer. Pet liability policies usually carry lower coverage limits than the amounts provided by whole-car insurance policies. Although your limits may be higher, there are still limitations to how much money you can get if you need to make a claim. As with insurance, it is essential to read any fine print to understand your coverage options. This way, you can ensure your pet has the best protection available when you’re on the road with them in tow.

What is covered in the pet liability policy?

Pet liability policies will cover injuries to pets. These policies can be purchased from several pet insurance providers who work with specific insurance companies. The coverage offered will vary, so it’s essential to look into which policy provides the coverage you need and what kind of limits are available. Add your pet as an additional insured on your existing policy. Your current policy insurance agent can help you determine what levels of coverage to obtain for the pet. Some pet liability policies work by providing a schedule of the amounts they will pay out in different circumstances. If you have a claim to make, you must ensure that it is filed within the required time frame. If it takes longer than the time limit, or if there is any reason why the claim should not be paid, you might not get your money. Again, reading any fine print or asking questions to know what to expect with your pet liability policy is essential.

Pet injury coverage for your dog can be an expensive proposition, and it is something that you should know about before buying it. Like all insurance policies, pet insurance is not perfect. Read this article for helpful advice on how pet insurance works, and see if pet insurance is right for you and your dog.

Types of Dog Insurance

A dog policy from an honest provider will provide two types of coverage: primary medical coverage, which covers significant health issues, and illness/accident coverage, which covers common illnesses and accidents. Without primary medical coverage, there can be a financial disaster in the event of a severe condition for your dog. It is critical to cover your dog for a significant illness. One thing you should know about pet insurance is that it only covers dogs, not cats. It is because cats are considered a different kind of animal by insurance companies than dogs are. So, they are also usually more expensive to fit them under a policy. However, some companies may only deal with certain breeds of dogs, so always check with your provider before you make any decisions about your dog insurance.

Insurance for Cats

Pet insurance coverage for cats is available from Healthy Paws Pet Insurance, which offers special rates for kittens over eight weeks up to 8 months old under the same warranty. If the cat is over eight months old, it can be added to an existing plan for a higher premium.

Pet insurance coverage from Healthy Paws is designed to cover mainly illness, accidents, and routine care. It means that the policy will cover any severe conditions or injuries that your cat may get. The minor coverage your pet can have on this kind of insurance is $100 for every situation that is covered and up to 50% of any treatments needed by the animal. If you want a more specific breakdown of what kind of coverage you need for your pet, there are several different packages with Healthy Paws Pet Insurance.

The coverage is included for a fixed price and is guaranteed to be covered for the entire policy duration. It does not matter whether your dog or cat gets sick; both will get covered by Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. If a pet has to undergo surgery, the policies also cover costs for treatment after surgery and pre-surgery preparation.

Protecting Your Pet

The best way to ensure your pet gets complete protection from injuries from car accidents is by purchasing a separate pet insurance policy. A pet insurance policy can be a lifesaver for your furry friend when they get hurt or is injured in a car accident. If the worst happens, you will have the peace of mind that you need to handle it without worrying about how to pay for vet bills and other expenses. The best way to protect your dog from injury when you are on the road with him is by purchasing a pet policy from Healthy Paws Pet Insurance and getting full coverage to ensure that your dog receives the best care possible if anything happens.

How to Keep Your Car Clean

Whether trying to impress a date or keep your car’s resale value high, a clean car is always a good idea. But keeping a car clean is no easy feat, especially if you live in an area with lots of dirt and dust. So, if you’re looking for some tips on how to keep your car clean, you’ve come to the right place. Here are some tips on doing that.

1. Start with a clean slate.

Before cleaning your car, ensure it’s been washed and waxed. This will give you a nice, smooth surface to work with and make the cleaning process much more manageable. When you do this, though, remember that it’s essential to do it the right way to avoid damaging your paint.

To get the perfect wash and wax, try using two buckets – one for soap and water, and one for rinsing. This will help prevent dirt and grit from being re-deposited on your car as you wash it. You should also use a soft sponge or cloth to wash your car. A rougher surface can damage your paint.

Additionally, ensure you always rinse your car thoroughly before applying any wax. Otherwise, the wax may not adhere correctly. Finally, apply the wax in small sections, using circular motions. Wipe off any excess wax with a clean, dry cloth.

2. Work in small sections.

When it comes to cleaning your car, it can be tempting to try and do the whole thing at once. However, this often leads to a half-hearted clean that doesn’t really achieve much. A better approach is to break the task down into smaller sections and work on one area at a time, starting with the basics.

Vacuum the floors and seats, and dust the dashboard and other surfaces. Don’t forget to wipe the mirrors and clean the windows inside and out. Then, pay special attention to cracks and crevices, which can house lots of dust and grit, and other areas that tend to collect dirt and grime, such as the cup holders. Also, if your upholstery looks a little worse for wear, consider shampooing it yourself or taking it to a professional.

Finally, ensure you clean the door panels, empty the trash, and give the car a good once-over with a lint roller. Working in small sections like this will help you to be more thorough and give your car the deep clean it deserves. Plus, it’s less likely to feel like such a big job if you take it one step at a time.

3. Try ceramic coating.

There are many benefits of using ceramic coating for cars. This kind of coating adheres to the paint and creates a durable, hydrophobic barrier for your vehicle, so in addition to protecting your car’s paint from dirt, UV rays, and other contaminants, it also makes it easier to keep your car clean because water will bead up and roll off the surface. Once cured, the coating will last for years with proper care.

Compared to paint protection film (PPF), ceramic coating is the superior choice for a number of reasons. First, a ceramic coating forms a bond with the paint that is much stronger than the bond between PPF and paint. This means that it is less likely to peel or crack over time.

Second, a ceramic coating provides better protection against UV rays, making it ideal for use in sunny climates. Third, ceramic coating is easier to clean and maintain than PPF. Finally, ceramic coating can be applied to any area of the vehicle, whereas PPF only covers certain areas.

4. Take care of spills immediately.

If you spill anything in your car-coffee, soda, water-be sure to clean it up right away. The longer a spill sits, the harder it will be to remove later down the road.

To clean these up, use baking soda or salt to absorb the spill. This will help to prevent staining and make cleanup much easier. If the spill is on fabric, blot it with a clean cloth or paper towel as soon as possible to remove as much liquid as possible. Additionally, you can use a mild soap and water solution to remove any remaining residue.

You should also invest in some good automotive floor mats so that spills don’t damage your carpeting or upholstery. A good car mat should be made from a durable material that can withstand heavy foot traffic. Mats with raised edges also help to contain dirt and debris. Also, ensure you choose a mat that is easy to clean – you’ll want to be able to quickly remove any dirt or debris that gets tracked onto the mat.

Keeping your car clean may seem challenging, but it doesn’t have to be. By following these simple tips, you can easily keep your car looking its best – no matter where you live or how often you drive it.

Explaining The Importance Of Having Legal Representation In An Ongoing Case

No one ever plans on needing a lawyer. But sometimes, life throws you a curveball and you find yourself in the middle of a legal case. If this happens to you, it is important to have legal representation. An experienced lawyer can help guide you through the legal process and make sure your rights are protected. In this blog post, we will discuss the importance of having legal representation in an ongoing case.

1. You need an injury lawyer to help you get compensation

If you’ve been injured due to someone else’s negligence, you may be entitled to financial compensation. An experienced injury lawyer will know how to build a strong case for you and get you the compensation you deserve. As Pittman, Roberts & Welsh, PLLC professionals note, the insurance company’s goal is to limit the amount of money that they have to pay on every claim. An experienced personal injury lawyer will level the playing field by putting pressure on the insurance company to pay you what you are rightfully owed. It is important to have legal representation in your corner when you are up against an insurance company.

2. Plea validity

If you are facing criminal charges, it is important to have an experienced criminal defense lawyer on your side. A good lawyer will know how to challenge the prosecution’s case and get you the best possible outcome. In some cases, a lawyer may be able to get the charges against you dropped altogether. If you are facing jail time, a good lawyer may be able to get you a more lenient sentence. It is important to have legal representation when your freedom is on the line. Also, if you are not a United States citizen, you may be at risk of deportation if you are convicted of a crime. An experienced criminal defense lawyer will know how to protect your rights and fight for your freedom.

3. You need someone in your corner

When you are going through a legal case, it can be a very stressful and emotional time. It is important to have someone in your corner who can help you navigate the legal system and fight for your rights. An experienced lawyer will be there for you every step of the way, answering your questions and keeping you updated on the status of your case. A good lawyer will also be a great advocate for you, making sure that your interests are represented in court. If your legal concerns involve business matters, firms like Cohen Schneider Law P.C. for example, where business law is one of their specialties, can offer the specific expertise needed to guide you through complex legal issues. When you have legal representation, you don’t have to go through your case alone.

Legal cases can be very complex, and it is important to have an experienced lawyer on your side who can help you navigate the process. A good lawyer will know the ins and outs of the legal system and how to build a strong case for you. If you are representing yourself in a legal case, you may not know all of the rules and procedures that apply. This can put you at a disadvantage, and you may not get the outcome that you deserve. When you have legal representation, you can be confident that your case is in good hands. This complexity is especially true in civil rights matters, where constitutional protections, government accountability, and nuanced precedent often intersect. For instance, civil rights lawyers in New Mexico (or elsewhere) can advocate for individuals facing discrimination, police misconduct, workplace rights violations, housing inequities, and other abuses of power, guiding cases from investigation through litigation and resolution.

5. You have a greater chance of winning your case

When you have legal representation, you have a greater chance of winning your case. This is because an experienced lawyer knows how to build a strong case and present it in court, especially one who has undergone the additional training Programs CEB MCLE offers. If you are representing yourself, you may not know all of the strategies that could help you win your case. A good lawyer will also know how to negotiate with the other side and get you the best possible outcome. If you want to give yourself the best chance of winning your case, you need to have legal representation.

6. You may be entitled to a higher settlement

If you have legal representation, you may be entitled to a higher settlement than if you were to represent yourself. This is because lawyers know how to negotiate with insurance companies and get their clients the best possible settlements. If you try to negotiate with the insurance company on your own, you may not get the same results. It is important to have legal representation when you are trying to get a fair settlement from the insurance company.

7. You will have peace of mind

When you have legal representation, you will have peace of mind knowing that your case is in good hands. You can focus on your recovery while your lawyer handles the legal aspects of your case. This can be a huge weight off of your shoulders, and it can allow you to focus on what is important. When you don’t have to worry about your case, you can focus on getting better and moving on with your life. Also, if you have legal representation, you will know that someone is fighting for your rights and working hard to get you the best possible outcome.

How to choose the right lawyer for you?

When choosing a lawyer, you should first consider their area of practice. This is because different lawyers specialize in different areas of law. If you have a criminal case, you will want to find a criminal defense lawyer. If you have a civil case, you will want to find a civil litigation lawyer. Make sure to choose a lawyer who specializes in the area of law that pertains to your case. You should also consider the experience of the lawyer. You will want to find a lawyer who has experience handling cases like yours. If you have a complicated case, you will want to find a lawyer who has experience dealing with complex legal matters. Ask the lawyer how many cases like yours they have handled in the past. If they have a lot of experience, they will likely be able to handle your case effectively.

If you are involved in a legal case, it is important to have an experienced lawyer on your side. A good lawyer will know how to build a strong case for you and get you the compensation you deserve. An experienced lawyer will also be a great advocate for you, making sure that your interests are represented in court. When you have legal representation, you have a greater chance of winning your case. Good luck!

These are plates that have been specifically chosen for your vehicle and can be customised to include any text or combination of letters and numbers that you desire. We will discuss the different types of personalised reg plates available, as well as how to go about purchasing them. So, whether you are looking for a unique gift for a loved one or simply want to add some extra personality to your car, read on for all the details!

How can you personalise you number plate?

Firstly, it is essential to note that there are laws and regulations in place for personalised private plates in the UK. Your chosen combination of letters and numbers must not be offensive or misconstrued as being affiliated with a government agency or local authority. Additionally, you cannot use Q, I, or Z as single letters within your plate (unless they appear within a longer sequence).

When it comes to what you can have on your personalised reg plate, the sky is the limit. At theprivateplateco.co.uk, you can find the largest selection of private registrations in the UK with more private number plates for sale than the DVLA. Whether it’s your initials, favourite sports team, or just a clever phrase, as long as it adheres to the guidelines above, you can get anything you want on your number plate.

How expensive are personalised number plates UK?

Some companies let you pay for your personalised number plate in installments. This means that you do not need to save up all the money at once to make the purchase.

It is worth noting that personalised number plates can often come with a high price tag. This is because they are generally sold at auctions and the demand for certain combinations can drive up their value. However, they do last indefinitely as long as you transfer them onto any new vehicles that you may purchase in the future.

Can I buy a personalised number plate as a gift?

If you want to buy a personalised license plate as a gift, it is easy. You can put the name of the person you are giving it to on the form. Just fill in your information and then ownership will be transferred to the person you are giving it to.

How to transfer the personalised reg plate to your car?

Transferring a personalised number plate to your car is also quite straightforward. All you need to do is fill out a V317 form (available on the government website) and pay the £80 transfer fee.

It is important to note that you cannot put a private plate on a car that has just been purchased. This is because, in order for the transfer process to occur, the vehicle must have already been registered with its original number plate.

So there you have it – everything you need to know about personalised number plates in the UK! If you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to check out personalised number plates at National Numbers. They will be able to assist you with any questions.

Which Auto Repair Issues Should You Bring To The Pros ASAP?

Car repair and maintenance theme. Mechanic in uniform working in auto service, checking engine.

Your car is one of your investments, and like any other investment, you expect it to work efficiently, which is why Frankton mechanics are essential for keeping your vehicle in top shape. However, it’s not always the case. Your car will likely develop issues over time, some major and others minor.

Imagine the dilemma if you’re driving to work one day and your car stalls mid-highway. You’ll probably get to work late, considering you might need to wait for a mechanic to provide assistance.

Although there are some issues you can address independently—like changing a flat tire, changing the oil, etc.—other issues need expert help. Read on to know which auto repair issues need professional assistance to solve.

Vague Warning Lights

Your car has various parts and components, and it might be challenging for you to pinpoint which part has an issue. Car manufacturers have developed systems that enable your car to alert you about various issues you need to address through warning lights on the dashboard.

Warning lights can be red or yellow. A red light depicts danger, which means the part needs to be checked as soon as possible. Meanwhile, a yellow light means there’s an issue in your car that doesn’t need an immediate solution.

These lights have different symbols to show you which component has an issue. For instance, it could be a red light with the engine symbol, airbag, battery, etc. In some cases, you might not be able to pinpoint the exact issue with the illuminated part on your own. Therefore, it would be best to bring your car to a mobile mechanic Perth to identify and correct the issue.

Grinding Brakes

A good, working brake brings your car to a stop without any noise. However, if it squeaks or grinds, there’s an issue. It’s dangerous to drive with such brakes due to their response rate. Brakes shouldn’t react too fast or too slow, as they might cause accidents.

In most cases, the issue could be with the brake pads or rotor; they might need changing. Or there could be a stone stuck between your brake’s parts, among other issues you might miss if you check it on your own. These are actions you should leave to the experts. Besides changing the parts, they can address any other underlying issues. If you want one that comes at an affordable cost, you can type in ‘mobile mechanics near me cheap’ on various search engines to find a suitable service provider for your needs.

Unsteady Steering Wheel

Your steering wheel should be stable and only move with your action. If you find it hard to control your steering wheel steadily, you need to have it checked by experts.

An unsteady steering wheel is often due to an issue with the car’s suspension or wheel bearings. A mechanic will be able to identify which part is faulty and address the issue accordingly. They usually recommend SKF ball bearings, which are known for their durability and quality. Some mechanics also offer a warranty on these parts, giving you added peace of mind.

Radiator Leaks

A car’s radiator helps to keep the engine cool. It eliminates any heat the engine produces as it runs through its liquid. The liquid helps to control the heat, ensuring the engine’s temperature is in an acceptable range.

The radiator may have leaks sometimes, often caused by corrosion and contaminated fluid. It’s an issue you would want a pro to check out. They’ll identify the cause of the leak, address it, and prevent such future incidences by replacing the radiator. It’s important to have this addressed immediately, as there’s a chance your engine could catch fire if it’s left unchecked.

Excessive Oil Consumption

As you drive your car around, you expect it to consume a reasonable amount of fuel. Excessive oil consumption leads to higher expenses, not to mention possible inflated fuel prices. If this is the case, your car will become an expensive liability.

If you notice your car consuming more fuel than usual, the issue could be with your oil or air filters. They could  be clogged and require changing. In addition, the problem could be the oxygen sensors. These are repairs that need to be done by experts.

Overheating

In most cases, any overheating issues may result from components that serve the engine. As mentioned, your engine emits heat as it runs. Different parts and solutions work to maintain engine temperatures—one being the coolant, which absorbs excess heat from your engine.

If your car is overheating, the coolant might not have reached the engine, or there’s a leak. A pro will inspect your coolant tank and other surrounding parts to identify and address the issue.

Conclusion

Hiring experts for your auto repair issues is advisable, especially if you’re uncertain what the cause may be. They’ll identify and give the correct diagnosis for your car. If there’s a need for replacement, they know the best brands and the correct specifications to choose. Lastly, they’ll be able to address the issues within a short period because they have experience and expertise in dealing with these things. Thus, should you experience any of the discussed issues, it would be best to leave them up to pro mechanics.

The 10 Best Racing Drivers of All Time

Photo by Glen Wheeler on Unsplash

The world of motorsport has seen hundreds of exceptional drivers over the decades. From Formula 1 to Dakar and the NASCAR oval, drivers have left their mark with their victories, abilities, and lasting legacy.

If you are a fan of F1 betting or have headed to a few Daytona 500 races, there are a handful of names on this list that you are very familiar with.

Fernando Alonso

Fernando Alonso falls into the category of being one of the best drivers ever, who is still wildly underrated. The Spaniard has raced in Formula 1, the World Endurance Championship, and IndyCar and has won the Le Mans 24-hour race twice.

His F1 career is easily his most successful, having won two championships and finished first 32 times. Currently, with Alpine racing, his career has undoubtedly slowed down, but he is still one of the most respected drivers on the grid.

Ayrton Senna

The late great Ayrton Senna was the man nobody could touch, let alone beat, in his ten-year Formula 1 career. The Brazilian won three championships and had 41 career wins, and while he isn’t the most successful driver, he was one of the most dominant.

Mario Andretti

Mario Andretti is an Italian-born driver who enjoyed long careers in both Formula 1 and Le Mans. He is considered one of the best American drivers to ever race in F1 and is also one of only two US drivers to have won a Formula 1 championship.

He also had multiple Le Mans stints throughout the 60s, 80s, 90s, and 2000, recording a single win in that time.

Juan Manuel Fangio

Fangio is often recognized as the first-ever “superstar” driver. The Argentine recorded 51 starts and was famous for his skill and ability behind the steering wheel long before there was much known about how to “properly” race.

He won five F1 championships and was consistently in the top 5 in almost every race he entered. Even though he passed away in 1995, he is still regarded as the benchmark many drivers aim to reach.

Michael Schumacher

Michael Schumacher was so dominant in his Ferrari that most of the time, the other drivers were fighting for second place. The German is tied for the most championships, seven, which includes winning it five times in a row between 2000 and 2004.

While a tragic skiing accident has taken him out of the spotlight over the past few years, in many eyes, he is the best driver of the modern era.

Niki Lauda

The name Niki Lauda is one that is said with love and passion across Formula 1 and has been for several decades. The Austrian driver was fearless and determined, and even a near-fatal crash in 1976 couldn’t stop him.

Lauda finished his career with three championship wins, but even that can’t come close to describing just how good he was. His battle with fellow driver James Hunt in 1976 is easily one of the best rivalries sport has ever seen, let alone Formula 1.

Richard Petty

There is arguably no bigger name in NASCAR than Richard Petty. There are very few things he didn’t win during his time as a driver. He is a multi-time Grand National Series and Winston Cup series championship winner and is tied with Dale Earnhardt and Jimmie Johnson for most NASCAR Cup Series championships.

He is also a motorsport Hall of Famer, multi-time Most Popular Driver winner, and finished his career with 200 wins and a staggering 712 top ten finishes.

Carlos Sainz Sr.

Carlos Sainz Sr. didn’t take the same path as his son into Formula 1 but instead chose to be one of the best rally drivers the world has ever seen. Between 1997 and 2005, Sainz tore up tracks across the world, winning two championships in the process.

He raced in 196 races, winning 26 stages out of the 757 he was in. To top it off, he has also won three Dakar rallies in 2010, 2018, and 2020.

Stephane Peterhansel

Speaking of Dakar, you can’t talk about that race without talking about the best ever to do it. Stephane Peterhansel holds the record for the most ever Dakar wins with a mindblowing fourteen in total.

While he goes under the radar outside of the Dakar, it is hard to ignore his accomplishments and impact on motorsport as a whole.

Lewis Hamilton

The only man who has managed to match Michael Schumacher’s championship numbers is Lewis Hamilton. The Brit has been a giant in the sport, getting his first championship win in only his second season in Formula 1.

While the likes of Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc are now taking over, what Hamilton has done for British motorsport and Formula 1 will live on long after he eventually retires.

Weekend schedule for Martinsville Playoff race

Photo by Ted Seminara for SpeedwayMedia.com.

Driver Quotes

“We have been really fast at Martinsville the couple of times I have raced here with this Accelerate Professional Talent Solutions team. The first race we were able to come back after being three laps down to finish fourth and we were in contention at the end of the spring race this year, so my confidence is high for this weekend. Our goal is simple: we need to go out and win to put ourselves into the Championship 4.”– Sam Mayer

“We know what lies ahead for us this weekend in Martinsville. We are in position to fight for a chance to make it to Phoenix and race for a championship, and that is all that you can ask for. Martinsville has been a strong track for us in the past, and hopefully that can come to fruition again on Saturday. I know that everyone on this No. 7 team is locked in and ready to go out there and do what we need to do to advance. I’m ready to get there and give it all we’ve got.” – Justin Allgaier

“Martinsville is a special place to me. Between winning the Late Model race here in 2019 and following that up with the Xfinity win in 2021, it’s a track that really suits what I’ve done my entire career. I’m really looking forward to getting back to short-track racing and hopefully we can put this Tire Pros Chevrolet into Victory Lane to get us ready for Phoenix.” – Josh Berry

“Martinsville is always fun and we have had a lot of success there. Winning last year’s race was wild and we pulled off the victory we had to have to race for the championship. Luke (Lambert, crew chief) and the Bass Pro Shops/TrueTimber/Black Rifle Coffee team have given me great cars this year and I am stoked to go to Martinsville and hopefully contend for the win again, though it’ll be a lot less stressful this time around since we’re already locked in.” – Noah Gragson
