CONCORD, NC (Sept. 30, 2025) – On the eve of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month and ahead of this weekend’s NASCAR Playoffs at America’s Home for Racing, more than 135 breast cancer survivors and supporters joined Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC), the Erik Jones Foundation and Charlotte Motor Speedway to paint the iconic pit road wall pink in a moving display of solidarity and hope.

The 13th annual Paint Pit Wall Pink celebration has become one of Charlotte’s most powerful traditions leading into race weekend, setting the stage for Saturday’s Blue Cross NC 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series race and Sunday’s Bank of America ROVAL™ 400. This year’s event underscored Blue Cross NC’s commitment not only to raising awareness for the importance of early detection in the fight against breast cancer, but also to serving additional communities in need—including those impacted by food insecurity.

“It’s just so special to be out here with our employees and other survivors. Each and every year, it’s like coming home to a family reunion and just being with family and to see them each and every year. That’s what’s really special,” said Cheryl Parquet, Blue Cross NC associate vice president of community engagement and corporate social responsibility. “We get to see them (survivors) once a year, out here. They have their pink shirts on; they show up and they want to paint the wall. It’s a special day for them because they have been working, they are the ones that are overcoming, so this day is really special to help celebrate them.”

Windows of Hope Continues Impact

In partnership with Blue Cross NC and the Erik Jones Foundation, drivers in this weekend’s Bank of America ROVAL™ 400 will continue the “Windows of Hope” program. Each NASCAR Cup Series car will feature a pink window net, which will be signed by the drivers following the race. The signed nets will be auctioned to benefit organizations focused on early cancer detection and prevention—a cause close to Erik Jones’ heart.

“It’s been fun to really ingrain this program more into our foundation. This is year three for us with the window net program and just to watch it grow, I hope it continues to grow and become more of a part of this weekend every year,” said Jones. “I always love hearing the survivors’ stories and getting to meet a handful of them, see them out here and get them out for the race.”

Blue Cross NC: Beyond Awareness

For more than a decade, Blue Cross NC has partnered with Charlotte Motor Speedway to use racing as a platform for community impact. This year, the company is building on its commitment by broadening its focus to serve additional North Carolina communities — addressing issues such as food insecurity while continuing to champion cancer prevention and survivor support.

“Our mission continues to grow — from supporting breast cancer awareness to tackling hunger and other health needs — it’s about making sure every North Carolinian has the resources they need to thrive,” said Parquet.

ERIK JONES QUOTE
“The Charlotte ROVAL is a track that we’re ready to try some new stuff at. We’ve been working on our road course program all year, so I’m excited to get there and see if we can continue to improve on road courses. It’s always a good week to be home and race right down the road. There’s nothing like racing at Charlotte with how long this schedule is and how much travel is involved. Hoping we can get another good result here on Sunday.”

BEN BESHORE QUOTE
“The Charlotte ROVAL will be something. Our road course package is one area where we really need to put in a lot of work from a team standpoint. We haven’t had very good results on road courses this year. Maybe it’s a place where we can try something a little different from a setup or car build area to see if we can learn something going into the 2026 season. We’ll try to get a read on something new and try to use it as sort of a test for something to help us improve on our program next year.”

CLUB APPEARANCES:
Jones will visit Trackside Live in the Fan Zone on Sunday, Oct. 5 at 11:15 a.m. local time for a short Q&A session with the fans. He will then go to the Toyota trackside merchandise hauler for an autograph session in the fan zone at 11:40 a.m. local time.

Michael McDowell Quote
Talk about the ROVAL from the point of view of a road course ace?
“The ROVAL is unique, it’s one of a kind in the sense that it’s not like any other road courses we see. It’s not a typical or standard road course. But the oval part of it isn’t really a thing anymore. I think in the old car you had to choose whether you wanted your car to go through the banking or go through the infield, whereas now in the Next-Gen car it’s not really a hybrid, as much. So, set up wise you’re thinking about it from a road-course standpoint, but it’s very unique.”

The 22-year-old driver rallied for his best finish in two starts at the 0.875-mile D-shaped oval and his second top-10 finish in as many races.
  • Through 31 of 36 points-paying races, Hocevar has spent 53.4% of laps run inside the top 15 – more than double his total at this time last season. He ranks ninth among all drivers on speed shown early in the run.

Carson Hocevar Quotes
How has your approach to road course races changed over the last year?
“Last year, in general, our focus was to finish races. We’ve changed that approach to going for wins and going as hard as we can so I think that’s allowed me to learn more about racing up front and challenging for position. I think there’s a lot of opportunity on road courses and we’ve run decent this year, it’s just finishing it out.”

Have you adjusted your driving style throughout the playoffs as you race around guys that are trying to advance to Phoenix?
“Not really. I’m not going to intentionally put anyone in a bad spot, but we’re still here to win races. I appreciate what they are fighting for and don’t want to be the driver that ruins someone’s playoff run. I just rely on the team to keep me updated on what is going on and I focus on my goal, which is getting to the front.”

Atop the No. 77 Box – Crew Chief Luke Lambert

  • Luke Lambert will call his seventh NASCAR Cup Series race at the Charlotte ROVAL on Sunday. Hocevar’s 12th-place result was the second-best for the crew chief, only ranking behind an 11th-place finish with Ryan Newman in 2018.
  • The Mount Airy, N.C., native has also called one NASCAR Xfinity Series race at the Charlotte-based venue; a third-place effort with driver Noah Gragson in 2022.

About Spire Motorsports …
Spire Motorsports earned its inaugural NASCAR Cup Series victory in its first full season of competition when Justin Haley took the checkered flag in the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona (Fla.) International Speedway on July 7, 2019. Less than three years later, William Byron drove Spire Motorsports’ No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado to its inaugural NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series win on April 7, 2022, at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. The team’s most recent CRAFTSMAN Truck Series win came on May 30, 2025, when Rajah Caruth took the checkered flag in the Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville (Tenn.) Superspeedway.

In 2025, Spire Motorsports campaigns the Nos. 7, 71 and 77 Chevrolets in the NASCAR Cup Series. The team also fields the Nos. 7, 71 and 77 Chevrolet Silverados in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series and an ARCA Menards Series Chevrolet in select events.

Jason Kitzmiller, A.L.L. Construction Racing Aim to Put Exclamation Point on 2025 ARCA Season at Toledo Speedway

TOLEDO, Ohio: The checkered flag is within sight.

Tackling his first full season of ARCA Menards Series competition will come to a close this weekend at Toledo Speedway for Jason Kitzmiller and his A.L.L. Construction Racing team in Saturday afternoon’s Owens Corning 200 in Northern Ohio.

Through 19 races, Kitzmiller, the seasoned veteran, has experienced more highs than lows, but he turns to his debut at the Automobile Racing Club of America’s home track as an opportunity to put an exclamation point on what can be assessed as a successful campaign.

From superspeedways to short tracks, road courses and even two dirt races sprinkled in, Kitzmiller and his Statesville, N.C.-based team have continued to grow stronger throughout the season.

Along the way, they’ve recorded several competitive runs and built a notebook of experience that should serve them well heading into 2026.

Now, the tight quarter-mile oval of Toledo Speedway presents a final test — one where execution, patience and track position will be critical in bringing the season to a close on a strong note.

“This year has been a huge learning curve, but also one of the most rewarding seasons of my career,” said Kitzmiller.

“We’ve been to so many different types of tracks, faced a lot of challenges, and kept building every week. I’m proud of our A.L.L. Construction Racing team and the fight we’ve shown all season.

“Toledo gives us one more shot to finish strong, and I’d love nothing more than to close it out with a performance that shows how far we’ve come.”

The Petersburg, West Virginia native heads to the season finale on the heels of a third-consecutive top-10 finish at Kansas Speedway with a respectable ninth-place finish in last Friday night’s Reese’s 150 in the Midwest.

Armed with 13 top-10 performances so far this season, the successful entrepreneur heads to the popular and extremely fast short track looking to close out the year with another top-10 tally.

“It feels really good to go into the last race of the season with the momentum we’ve built,” added Kitzmiller.

“Thirteen top-10 finishes is something our whole A.L.L. Construction Racing team can be proud of. We’ve shown we belong in this series, and my focus at Toledo is to finish strong, keep our streak alive and carry that confidence into next year.”

But it’s not just another top-10 performance that Kitzmiller is aiming for. With his respectable performance in the penultimate race of the season at Kansas, he leaped to third in the overall ARCA Menards Series championship standings.

With 200 laps on deck in the Buckeye State, Kitzmiller looks to maintain his competitive short track pace while protecting his placement in the standings and ending the year with a podium driver’s championship effort.

Just 13 points separate him from dropping to fourth in the championship standings – currently occupied by ARCA Menards Series rookie driver Isabella Robusto.

“We’ve worked so hard all year to be in this position, and it means a lot to be inside the top three heading into Toledo,” said Kitzmiller.

“The goal is to run our race, stay out of trouble, and put ourselves in position for another solid finish. If we can protect third in points and close out the season on a high note, it would be a huge accomplishment for this team and a great motivator for 2026.”

Of course, an added benefit to Kitzmiller’s first full season of ARCA Menards Series quest has been the confidence, support and guidance from crew chief and top-10 ARCA driver champion Frank Kimmel.

Much like he’s had to do for 15 races this season, Kitzmiller has added new tracks to his resume. Toledo Speedway will be no different.

Thankfully, from 1990 to 2015, Kimmel made 37 ARCA starts at Toledo, which included three poles, nine wins, 24 top-five and 27 top-10 finishes.

He also completed 6,316 of a possible 6,617 laps for a 95 percent completion rate in the lap competition.

Kitzmiller hopes all of Kimmel’s knowledge at Toledo Speedway will pay dividends before the curtain falls on the 73rd season of ARCA competition.

“Having Frank on the box has been a huge blessing this year,” Kitzmiller said.

“His experience and success in ARCA, especially at tracks like Toledo, gives me a lot of confidence.

“I know I can lean on him for advice about how the track changes, what to expect in long runs, and how to position ourselves late in the race. With his guidance, I feel like we have a real shot at ending the season strong.”

For Toledo, the team welcomes the continued support of Carter Machinery, featuring the iconic Caterpillar (Cat®) brand as the primary partner on the No. 97 Chevrolet SS for the 20th consecutive race this season.

Carter Machinery’s humble start began in 1928, serving Virginia and southeastern West Virginia.

As our customers’ needs changed over the years, we evolved by continually adding new products, services, and locations, with exponential growth occurring after our 2020 acquisition of Alban Tractor Company.

Today, our footprint spans the Mid-Atlantic, with over 30 locations throughout Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and the District of Columbia.

We sell, rent and support the full line of Cat® equipment, engines, and electric power generation systems, backed by the best parts availability, most diverse rental fleet, and an expert service team working together to enable our customers’ highest level of success.

Our ongoing investment in people, infrastructure, technology, and tooling continues to position us as one of Caterpillar’s leading dealers in North America and throughout the world.

“To have Carter Machinery and Cat® with us every step of the way this year has been incredible,” said Kitzmiller. “Their support means so much to me and everyone at A.L.L. Construction Racing.

“We’re proud to carry their colors for the 20th straight race, and I’d love nothing more than to deliver them another strong finish to close out the season.”

In addition to Carter Machinery, A.L.L. Construction Inc., Grant County Mulch, A&J Excavating, Cobra Mining, Champion Power Equipment and Volt Battery Technology will all serve as associate marketing partners for the 55th ARCA national race hosted at Toledo Speedway.

Entering Toledo, Kitzmiller, 52, sits third in the ARCA Menards Series championship standings and trails 87 points behind second-place Lavar Scott and 172 points behind leader Brenden Queen, with one race remaining.

The A.L.L. Construction Racing team also holds a solid seventh place in the championship owner standings.

Since 2020, Kitzmiller has made 46 ARCA Menards Series starts, earning two top-five and 21 top-10 finishes, including a career-best third-place finish at Daytona International Speedway in February 2025.

The Owens Corning 200 (200 laps | 100 miles) marks the 20th race of 20 on the 2025 ARCA Menards Series schedule. On Saturday, October 4, teams will hit the track for a forty-five-minute practice session from 11:45 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. General Tire Pole qualifying will follow at 1:00 p.m., with the green flag expected to wave shortly after 4:00 p.m. The race will be televised live on FOX Sports 2 (FS2) and the FOX Sports App, while ARCARacing.com will provide live timing and scoring throughout the day’s activities. THE RACE: Owens Corning 200 Presented by CGS Imaging
THE PLACE: Toledo Speedway, Toledo, Ohio
THE DATE: Saturday, October 4, 2025
THE TIME: 4 pm ET
TV: FS2, Live

  • Twenty-five drivers and teams are entered for the ARCA Menards Series Owens Corning 200 Presented by CGS Imaging, the 2025 season finale at Toledo Speedway; it’s the largest entry list for an ARCA Menards Series race at Toledo Speedway since 27 were entered in 2017.
  • When he takes to the track for practice, Brenden Queen (No. 28 BestRepair.net Chevrolet) will earn the final 50-point bonus of the season, this one given to each driver that participates in the last of the four five-race segments of the season. Once he and second-place Lavar Scott (No. 6 Max Siegel Inc. Chevrolet) receive those bonus points, he will lock up the 2025 ARCA Menards Series championship with an insurmountable lead. He leads by 85 points following the Reese’s 150 at Kansas Speedway, with a maximum 99 points available including the five-race segment bonus points.
  • Pinnacle Racing Group team owner Mark Webb will lock up the 2025 ARCA Menards Series Owners Championship if Queen finishes 16th or better, regardless of what the Joe Gibbs Racing team No. 18 team does. JGR has a chance to steal the title in the final race, but will need to finish among the top five and have the No. 28 team finish outside the top 20.
  • When she takes the green flag, Isabella Robusto (No. 55 Mobil 1 Toyota) will lock up the Bounty Rookie Challenge rookie of the year award. Robusto will follow Hailie Deegan to become the series’ second female rookie of the year; Deegan won top rookie honors in 2020. Robusto has set the single-season record for most top-five finishes by a female driver with 10; she trails only Erin Crocker Evernham, who has 12, for career top-five finishes.
  • Robusto trails Jason Kitzmiller (No. 97 A.L.L. Construction / Carter CAT Chevrolet) by 13 points in the battle for third in the final ARCA Menards Series point standings. Both have a best finish of third in 2025, Kitzmiller at Daytona International Speedway and Robusto at Talladega Superspeedway, both have eight top-five finishes, and both have 13 top-ten finishes.
  • Fifteen-year-old Tristan McKee (No. 82 Gainbridge / Chevrolet Performance Chevrolet) will make his fourth start of the season. McKee became the second-youngest winner in ARCA Menards Series history at 15 years, 6 days of age when he won in his series debut at Watkins Glen International in September.
  • Max Reaves (No. 18 Cook Out Toyota) will make his second appearance at Toledo Speedway in a month’s time in the Owens Corning 200 Presented by CGS Imaging. Reaves, who won the ARCA Menards Series East race at Toledo Speedway’s sister track Flat Rock Speedway in May, finished third in the ASA STARS National Tour Super Late Model Glass City 200 on September 13.
  • Jackson McLerran (No. 95 JSJ Construction / ARYLCO LLC Toyota) will make his third start of the season and his first ever at Toledo Speedway. He will have 2013 Glass City 200 winner Dennis Strickland, who started his racing career at Toledo Speedway in the mid-1980s, as his spotter.
  • The Owens Corning 200 Presented by CGS Imaging will be the 85th ARCA Menards Series race at Toledo Speedway since 1963. Only Salem Speedway, with 111, has hosted more ARCA Menards Series races.

  • Ten-time Toledo Speedway winner Frank Kimmel holds the ARCA Menards Series race record, set in 1998, at 86.400 miles per hour in a 150-lap feature event.

Ford Racing NASCAR – Charlotte ROVAL Playoff Advance

CHARLOTTE ROVAL

Friday, October 3 – NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, 3:30 p.m. ET (FS1)
Saturday, October 4 – NASCAR Xfinity Series, 5 p.m. ET (CW)
Sunday, October 5 – NASCAR Cup Series, 3 p.m. ET (USA)

The NASCAR Cup Series headlines a weekend on the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL that will see four drivers eliminated as the Round of 12 comes to a close. The NASCAR Xfinity Series will do the same on Saturday while Friday marks the debut event for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series on the road course.

BLANEY AND THE ROVAL

Ryan Blaney won the inaugural ROVAL event at Charlotte Motor Speedway (see below), and he comes into this weekend having posted five top-10 results in seven starts. After finishing ninth or better in the first four races (2018-21), he ended up 10th a year ago. Blaney’s triumph in 2018 still represents the only road course victory of his Cup career.

LOGANO HOPING FOR MORE ROVAL SUCCESS

Joey Logano comes into this weekend’s race eighth in the playoff standings, 13 points above the cut line, so there’s still plenty of work for the defending champion to do in order to advance. The good news for Logano is that he’s recorded six top-10 finishes in seven ROVAL starts while also registering one pole. His streak of three straight top-five runs came to an end last weekend in Kansas, but he still showed speed despite having to start from the back as he registered points in the first two stages before getting collected in a multi-car accident with 51 laps to go that contributed to a 21st-place finish.

NON-PLAYOFF DRIVERS STILL FIGHTING

The NASCAR Cup Series has had five playoff races so far and while much of the attention has been focused on those competing for the championship, the rest of the field has continued to battle. Ford has had at least one non-playoff driver finish in the top 10 of every event. Chris Buescher has done it twice (10th at Darlington and ninth at Gateway) as has his teammate and boss, Brad Keselowski (second at Bristol and eighth at Kansas). Zane Smith finished third at Bristol while Josh Berry, who was eliminated in the Round of 16, finished runner-up in the Round of 12 opener at New Hampshire.

FORD PLAYOFF DRIVERS AT THE ROVAL

Joey Logano: 7 starts, 0 wins, 2 top-5, 6 top-10
Ryan Blaney: 7 starts, 1 wins, 2 top-5, 5 top-10
Austin Cindric: 3 starts, 0 wins, 1 top-5, 1 top-10

RYAN BLANEY: WHAT’S THE MINDSET FOR THE REST OF THIS ROUND? “I said after New Hampshire that it doesn’t change our outlook. I’m a big believer in keeping your head down and keeping the momentum that you have. You don’t want to go kick your feet up for two weeks just because you’re in the next round. You have to stay in that competitive mode and your mentality of racing and go run hard every single week. I think the only thing that changes is maybe you can look at Vegas a little bit earlier than what you would and that’s really the only difference in this team’s mentality with the spot we’re in.”

JOEY LOGANO: ARE YOU PRO ROVAL THIS TIME OF YEAR, OR WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE THE OVAL RETURN? “If you’re asking me would I rather run a road course or an oval, I would pick an oval. It’s a road course. There are lefts and rights and there happens to be banking on two of the turns. Personally, I’m too close to the fire to answer that. It’s kind of what fans think is best is probably gonna be what we do anyways.”

THE ROVAL PRESENTS A CHALLENGE IN THAT IT’S HARD TO SCORE STAGE POINTS AND HAVE A GOOD RACE FINISH. DO YOU AGREE? “Yeah, depending on how the cautions fall more than likely you’re probably gonna have to pick one or the other, so it’s what are you trying to accomplish?”

AUSTIN CINDRIC: WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED THAT SHOULD HELP YOU AT THE ROVAL? “I think the big thing on the topic of tires is bringing the road course tire that we’ve had all year to the Charlotte road course. It’s been a bit of a challenge for us to wrap our heads around that tire change and progressively, slowly we’ve gotten better at that, so I think that’s the big thing – applying that for the ROVAL.”

BLANEY CAPTURES INAUGURAL CUP ROVAL RACE

The debut of the Charlotte ROVAL in 2018 didn’t disappoint as Jimmie Johnson and Martin Truex Jr. wrecked each other in the final chicane heading to the checkered flag, allowing Ryan Blaney to sneak past both and win the inaugural Bank of America ROVAL 400. Blaney put himself in position to win thanks to some sound strategy that enabled him to stretch his fuel mileage and win Stage 2. He found himself in 25th place with 38 laps to go after a trip to pit road, but cycled his way back up to the front before being in the right place at the right time. That capped a weekend in which Ford won the pole and race in the NASCAR Xfinity and NASCAR Cup Series. In seven career ROVAL starts, Blaney has five top 10 and two top 5 finishes.

CREED COMING ON STRONG

As the Charlotte ROVAL prepares to conduct an elimination race for the NASCAR Xfinity Series on Saturday, one driver to keep an eye on is Sheldon Creed, who is coming off his second straight top-five finish. Creed’s fifth-place run last weekend at Kansas Speedway topped all Ford drivers, but continued a resurgence that started with a runner-up result at Bristol Motor Speedway two weeks ago. Those efforts have helped him move 12 points above the cut line to sixth place in the standings.

RIGGS AND MAJESKI READY FOR ROUND OF 8 OPENER

Friday will not only be the first race in the Round of 8, it will also mark the first time the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series competes on the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL. Ford has two drivers still in contention for the title with Ty Majeski, bidding for a second straight series championship, and Layne Riggs, who is looking for his first. Riggs has won three times in the last eight events (Pocono, Indianapolis, and Bristol), but is still looking for his first career triumph on a road course while Majeski remains in search of his first win in 2025.

The event, which takes place from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM local time, will feature a driver autograph session, Q&A’s, race shop tours, live pit stops, merchandise sales, and a dunk tank to raise funds for Wreaths Across America.
  • Special Passengers: As the month of October begins, all four Niece Motorsports trucks will carry pink ribbon decals to honor nearly 50 individuals who have fought breast cancer. Each of these names are tied to family members of the team’s crew as well as the primary sponsors of the trucks.

No. 41 Circle B Diecast Chevrolet Silverado RST
Driver: Josh Bilicki | Crew Chief: Mike Shiplett

  • Bilicki Returns: Veteran driver Josh Bilicki pairs up with Niece Motorsports to make his second and final NCTS start of the season at the Charlotte ROVAL. Bilicki made a great first impression in his first outing with the team at Lime Rock Park back in June, where he carried the No. 44 Chevrolet to a seventh-place finish. When it comes to experience at this track, Bilicki’s name tops the list in the field, having driven in all but two races held on this track.
  • Bilicki’s Charlotte ROVAL Stats: Josh Bilicki has competed in every NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) race held at the ROVAL since 2018. Last year, Bilicki started fourth and finished eighth in the event while driving for Joe Gibbs Racing. The veteran has also competed in five Cup Series races here, finishing as high as 26th in 2023.
  • Shiplett’s Charlotte ROVAL Stats: Mike Shipett has made two NXS starts on top of the pit box at the ROVAL which both resulted in top-10 finishes. In 2018, Shiplett guided Justin Marks to a runner-up finish at the track. In three Cup Series races, Shiplett picked up one top-10 (ninth) with Cole Custer in 2020.
  • Recapping New Hampshire: Conner Jones and the No. 41 team had their day ended with a crash in stage one. Jones was making up ground on the initial start of the race, and the team elected to gain some track position and pit at the end of the stage. Unfortunately, however, Jones was collected in an incident on the ensuing restart. The truck had too much damage to continue, and the team was credited with a 31st-place finish.
  • Triple Duty: Bilicki will compete in all three NASCAR national series races held at the ROVAL this weekend. Following his drive in the No. 44 Silverado on Friday, Bilicki will pilot the No. 91 Chevrolet for DGM Racing in the NXS race on Saturday. He’ll also be behind the wheel of the No. 66 car for Garage 66 in the Cup Series race on Sunday.
  • On the Truck: Bilicki’s No. 41 Chevrolet Silverado RST will race with support from Circle B Diecast, one of the largest diecast retailers in the industry. This paint scheme is inspired by a custom 1969 Chevrolet C-10 pickup truck owned by the founders of Circle B Diecast, Brent and LaDonna Powell.
  • Quoting Bilicki: Obviously, you have plenty of experience at the Charlotte ROVAL, so how do you anticipate the first truck race will play out here?

“I think when you look at the Truck Series field, I probably have more experience at the ROVAL than any of them. I think the trucks will drive similar to the Xfinity cars here. The Cup Series cars don’t really have a lot of tire wear, but I think the trucks will have a good amount of fall off which I think makes the racing better. Brake management will also be key here since there are two big braking zones that we have to watch out for. I’m excited to be back with Niece Motorsports and can’t wait to get on track with them on Friday.”

About Circle B Diecast: Circle B Diecast, originally known as Plan B Sales, was founded in 2010 and started as a Lionel die-cast and Chase Authentics apparel wholesale distributor. The Concord, N.C. based company has grown into the largest independent racing collectibles distributor in the United States. Circle B Diecast offers both retail and wholesale customers a vast array of products through their website, www.circlebdiecast.com.

No. 42 Utilitra Chevrolet Silverado RST
Driver: Matt Mills | Crew Chief: Landon Polinski

  • Mills’ Charlotte ROVAL Stats: Matt Mills has competed in two NXS races held on the Charlotte ROVAL layout. Mills earned his best finish of 25th-place back in 2020, and most recently finished 30th in his last race here in 2021.
  • Polinski’s Charlotte ROVAL Stats: Landon Polinski will make his first NCTS start as a crew chief at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL on Friday.
  • On the Truck: Mills’ No. 42 Chevrolet Silverado RST will race with support from his longtime partners, Utilitra and J.F. Electric.
  • Raising Awareness: The No. 42 team will debut a special Breast Cancer Awareness paint scheme in Friday’s race. Utilitra, a woman-owned company, has been a large supporter of the American Cancer Society for several years.
  • Recapping New Hampshire: Matt Mills and the No. 42 team hung in through a long afternoon at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Mills qualified 24th and ran mid-pack through the majority of the event. The J.F. Electric crew made several changes to the balance and they began to push forward, but contact on a restart led Mills to spin with a flat tire. The caution never was displayed, and the team had to settle for a 23rd-place result.
  • Points Rundown: Mills continues to hold onto 18th-place in the driver points standings following the 21st race of the year at New Hampshire. Entering the Charlotte ROVAL, Mills is 17 points behind Stewart Friesen in 17th, and 14 points ahead of Dawson Sutton in 19th-place.
  • Quoting Mills: What does it mean to run a special breast cancer awareness truck with Utilitra as the primary sponsor on it?

“I think it’s very cool to have Utilitra on our truck and represent their woman-owned company with a breast cancer awareness paint scheme. It’s a special weekend for us with all of the ribbons that we’re going to have with the family members, and I’m happy to spread awareness with them. I always love racing at home in Charlotte and have been looking forward to getting back on the ROVAL layout, so this race should be a fun one for us.”

No. 44 Telcel Chevrolet Silverado RST
Driver: Andrés Pérez de Lara | Crew Chief: Wally Rogers

  • Pérez de Lara’s Charlotte ROVAL Stats: Andrés Pérez de Lara will make his first-career start at the Charlotte Motor Speedway ROVAL on Friday. In his first two NCTS starts on road courses, Pérez de Lara finished 17th at Lime Rock Park and 21st at Watkins Glen International after getting swept away in multi-truck crashes in both events.
  • Rogers’ Charlotte ROVAL Stats: Wally Rogers will call his first race at the Charlotte ROVAL on Friday.
  • On the Truck: Pérez de Lara’s No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado RST will race with support from Telcel, a Mexican telecommunications giant, along with associate partners, Claro and Infinitum.
  • Recapping New Hampshire: Andrés Pérez de Lara and the No. 44 team had a great race in New Hampshire, but ultimately left with not much to show. Pérez de Lara earned four points by finishing seventh in stage one, and made a strategy call to stay out and inherit the lead. On the restart, the rookie held his ground and the Telcel Chevrolet led for a total of 47 laps. Though he was close to winning stage two, Pérez de Lara ended up in second. On the next restart, his truck picked up a tire rub from contact with another competitor which cut down his left-front. The team never gave up, and took advantage of the free pass to come home with a top-15 finish.
  • Points Rundown: Pérez de Lara made up some serious ground in the points standings following his exciting run in New Hampshire. Now up to 15th overall in his debut season, the rookie gained two positions and is closing in on others. Entering the Charlotte ROVAL, Pérez de Lara is 13 points behind Connor Mosack in 14th, and likewise is 13 points ahead of Matt Crafton in 16th-place.
  • Quoting Pérez de Lara: You had a really strong run in Watkins Glen, so how do you feel about coming back to another road course this weekend?

“I’m super excited to race at the ROVAL. Definitely, all the road course races this year have been circled on my calendar because of my background on those types of tracks. Niece Motorsports has shown they have some really good equipment on the road courses, and even though I’ve never raced here before, I feel like I know this place well based off of our time in the sim. We’ll try to run up front for most of the race and see if we can be play upset this week.”

About Telcel: Telcel is Mexico’s leading telecommunications company, providing nationwide coverage, cutting-edge mobile connectivity, and high-speed internet services to millions of users. With over 30 years of experience, Telcel continues to innovate in digital communication, offering solutions that keep people connected anytime, anywhere.

No. 45 DQS Solutions & Staffing Chevrolet Silverado RST
Driver: Bayley Currey | Crew Chief: Phil Gould

  • Currey’s Charlotte ROVAL Stats: Bayley Currey has competed in three NXS races on the Charlotte ROVAL layout, finishing as high as 26th in 2022. Currey has not raced in either of the two road course events on the NCTS schedule this year, but recently served as a primary spotter for Josh Bilicki at Lime Rock.
  • Gould’s Charlotte ROVAL Stats: Phil Gould has called one NXS race at the Charlotte ROVAL, which came in the inaugural running of the event back in 2018. In that race, Gould’s team finished 11th with Ryan Reed.
  • On the Truck: Currey’s No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado RST will race with support from DQS Solutions & Staffing, who will be featured as a co-branded primary sponsor along with J.F. Electric and Precision Vehicle Logistics.
  • Raising Awareness: The No. 45 team will debut a special breast cancer awareness-themed paint scheme this weekend with lots of pink accents sprinkled across the truck.
  • Recapping New Hampshire: Bayley Currey and the No. 45 team were en route to a top-10 finish, but had to serve a late-race penalty which hindered their result. Currey started in 23rd, but made up ground through the opening two stages. Once in prime position late in the going, Currey clawed his way up to eighth before officials deemed that the driver committed a restart violation. Without any aid of a caution to catch the field, Currey crossed the line in 18th.
  • Points Rundown: Following Currey’s 18th-place finish at New Hampshire, the part-time driver remains 23rd in the driver points standings. Ahead of the Charlotte ROVAL, Currey is five points behind Toni Breidinger in 22nd, and 41 points ahead of Luke Baldwin in 24th. Looking at the owner points, the No. 45 team continues to run 11th with a sizable gap above Spire Motorsports’ No. 77 Chevrolet in 12th.
  • Quoting Currey: Which section of this track is more important – the oval or the infield?

“I think that exiting the infield and getting onto the oval is one of the most important turns on the track since you’re getting onto the longest straightaway. Even though you’re going around the big track in turns one and two, you’re still wide open, so if you can make speed there, you’ll carry that all the way through. But, seeing that you’re going slower through the infield, I think that is the best place to make up time. I think that’s obviously the most technical section, but the backstretch chicane is really important too since it leads onto another long straightaway onto the front stretch.”

SpotOn GPS Fence and Purina Dog Chow team up for a special cause with Jeb Burton at Charlotte Motor Speedway

Statesville, North Carolina, Sept. 30, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — SpotOn GPS Fence and Purina Dog Chow will share the #27 Jordan Anderson Racing Bommarito Autosport Chevrolet as Jeb Burton tackles the twists and turns of the Charlotte Roval. The partnership highlights a unique initiative with The Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation (WBWF) and their annual Emotional Support Dog Program.

Dogs are family, and for Jeb, that’s especially true of his two dogs, Hunter and Teal. Living on a 100-acre farm, Jeb needed a GPS collar he could trust, one that would let his dogs roam free while keeping them safe and contained on the property. SpotOn GPS Fence was the clear choice as the market’s most accurate GPS dog fence. SpotOn collars combine patented GPS technology with the industry’s most advanced hardware, allowing owners to set reliable virtual dog “fences” in just a few taps on their phone.

As part of the sponsorship, SpotOn branding will appear on Burton’s car and firesuit, and fans are invited to meet him at the SpotOn tent in the Charlotte Motor Speedway Fan Zone on Saturday. The event will feature autographs from Jeb, prize giveaways, and the opportunity to vote for finalists in SpotOn Gives—SpotOn’s charitable program, which has already contributed over $250,000 and will donate an additional $100,000 in 2025 to support animal welfare nonprofits. Fans can vote daily in four categories—Shelters, Rescues, Working Dogs, and New Hampshire Nonprofits—for the opportunity to make a difference and win exclusive prizes.

Purina Dog Chow will make its debut on the #27 alongside SpotOn GPS Fence. Purina Dog Chow and SpotOn joined other donors to support the 2025 edition of The Ward Burton Wildlife Foundation’s emotional support program, which pairs a trained working dog with a military service member as a part of its various Veteran Outreach program activities. Multiple studies have shown that Veterans paired with companion dogs report lower symptoms of PTSD, symptoms of depression-related functioning, better interpersonal relationships, less substance
abuse, and fewer psychiatric symptoms than Veterans without dogs.

This year, Golden Retriever “Trooper” will unite with his new best friend, Samantha Mecke. Samantaha is currently Army active duty, based at Ft. Bragg (NC), and special operations logistics personnel. The WBWF team was lucky to meet Samantha by way of an introduction by last year’s program recipient, Tyr Smank, who met Samantha at another event last year, where his dog, Freedom, made quite the impression on her. When Tyr met Samantha, she had recently lost her son tragically during the final month of his validation training at his first duty station with the Air Force. As Tyr got to know Samantha, he felt sure that she would be a wonderful recipient of this year’s dog, Trooper. Despite her grief, Samantha has made it her mission not only to continue to serve our country honorably but also to keep the memory of her son, Christian, alive.

WBWF Board Member Jeb Burton on the meaning of the Emotional Support Dog Program, “I’m grateful to the various partners that help make this pairing possible. In addition to SpotOn, Golden Corral, Screaming Eagle Ready Mix, and my team owner, John Bommarito, all contributed financially, and Purina Dog Chow made an in-kind product donation to the program this year because they’ve seen the impact that these companions have on the lives of their recipients. I know Trooper and Sam will make a great team, and I’m excited to introduce them!”

Tune into the CW Network on Saturday, October 4th at 4 PM ET to watch Jeb take on the Roval while representing the impactful cause initiative supported by his on track partners!
