BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND: SEA LIONS RETURNING TO AMS FOR JUNE NASCAR WEEKEND

HAMPTON, Ga. (March 11, 2025) – The biggest stars from Atlanta’s spring NASCAR weekend are coming back to dazzle fans once again this summer.

Not only will NASCAR’s best racers hit Atlanta Motor Speedway’s high banks for 650 miles of thrilling action – the biggest crowd-pleasers off the track will be back for the Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart weekend June 26-28

The Sea Lion Splash was one of the most captivating attractions of Atlanta’s spring NASCAR weekend – arguably second only to the white-knuckle racing. Back by popular demand, the Sea Lion Splash will return to Atlanta Motor Speedway’s Fan Zone for the Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart weekend.

The entertaining and informative presentation showcases the relationship between an “adopted family” of rescued sea lions and their handlers. The sea lions not only show off their natural behaviors – they also perform tricks and even pose for photos with guests. These lovable and playful sea lions who warmed the hearts of thousands of fans in February will be back for more in June.

“Our team is always looking for ways to make a splash with our fan entertainment and the sea lions certainly did that in February,” said AMS Executive Vice President and General Manager Brandon Hutchison. “The Sea Lion Splash was the buzz of the Fan Zone in the spring so we’re thrilled they’ll be back to this summer to compliment all of the entertainment and activities fans will enjoy before the racing kicks off in June.”

Fans can see the sea lions and enjoy all the other attractions found in the Fan Zone – like the Speedway Experience Powered by EchoPark Automotive, the Kids Zone, and NASCAR driver appearances – all free of charge in the complimentary Fan Zone during the Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart weekend.

The Fan Zone entertainment compliments a weekend full of exhilarating night racing action at Atlanta Motor Speedway, which has become notorious for hosing some of the best racing in NASCAR. The action and intensity will be kicked up a notch with racing under the lights on Friday and Saturday night, June 27 and 28. The NASCAR Xfinity Series kicks off the action Friday night in the Focused Health 250. NASCAR’s brightest stars will shine under the lights Saturday night in the Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart in the first-ever Saturday night NASCAR Cup Series race at AMS.

More information on the June 26-28 Quaker State 400 Available at Walmart weekend and ticket availability can be found online at AtlantaMotorSpeedway.com.

Adrian Kunzle and Kevin Madsen Team Up for 2025 Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America Season

Kunzle and Madsen combine for MLT Motorsports’ sole entry in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series and will be sponsored by Greenwich Lamborghini.

Braselton, GA (March 10, 2025) – MLT Motorsports announced today that Adrian Kunzle and Kevin Madsen will co-drive the No. 42 Greenwich Lamborghini Super Trofeo Entry for the 2025 season in the AM class. This marks the team’s second full season in Lamborghini competition, with Kunzle and Madsen sharing seat duties since Watkins Glen last year.

“We’re eager to return to Lamborghini competition in 2025,” said Team Owner Dr. Michael Thompson. “Adrian and Kevin are returning to the No. 42 with a wealth of experience and a relentless drive for success. Their passion for racing aligns perfectly with our team’s commitment to performance and development. This season presents another incredible opportunity to compete at the highest level, and we’re excited to showcase our capabilities as a team and go after that championship.”

“I’m excited to be running a second season in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series,” said Kunzle. “I’m looking to build on the great progress the whole team made last year as we chase down as many podiums as possible. We have quite a few new drivers in the AM class this year, and it’s going to be fun getting to know them and compete with them on track.”

Kunzle and Madsen combined for four Lamborghini race weekends in 2024, including the 2024 Lamborghini World Finals at Jerez de la Frontera.

“Last year was an introductory year in Super Trofeo for MLT as well as my teammate Adrian,” said Madsen. “I was very pleased to join him mid-season and it’s been especially exciting seeing both him and the team improve considerably. Last year was about adaptation plus growth and this year we continue that growth together with an eye on the championship win.”

The team tested in preparation for the season opener at Sebring. They look to continue building on their season-ending fourth-place finish in the second race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

“Sebring is a track I’m getting to enjoy the more I drive it.” Kunzle continued, “The bumps are a well-known challenge, but there are other corners with nuances, too, and working out how the car behaves through each of them is an endless challenge. I aim to have a clean race with lots of green flag time and finish on the podium!”

Madsen echoed Kunzle, saying, “Many drivers mention the bumps, but it’s a lot more than that. It’s also the different aggregate types and concrete, the nuances in the wet, the sweat-inducing humid environment and much more. Luckily, we have a very strong engineering team at MLT Motorsports, and we’ve been putting in the proper driver training and effort to succeed. Our goal for Sebring is lots of green flag, fun racing with many new faces and climbing the podium steps after each race.”

About MLT Motorsports:

Founded in 2018 by Dr. Mike Thompson, MLT Motorsports has established itself as a premier team amongst the IMSA paddock in the LMP3 category. Based near Road Atlanta, the team has easy access to some of the best road courses in the country and, importantly, Florida, where the sportscar racing world kicks off every winter at Daytona and Sebring. Constant investment and maintenance have seen the team arrive at each race weekend with top-notch race cars and state-of-the-art equipment.

MLT Motorsports’ early success is a testament to the team’s dedication and expertise, with their first victory coming in just their second start at Mid-Ohio in 2019. In the 2021 season, MLT showcased consistent excellence, finishing off the podium only once and clinching a double championship win, earning both the IMSA Prototype Challenge Team’s and Driver’s Championships with Dakota Dickerson and Josh Sarchet. Building on this momentum, MLT made its debut in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship at Mid-Ohio in May 2022, competing among the top sportscar teams in the world. In 2024, MLT celebrated another milestone, securing the VP Racing SportsCar Driver’s Championship with Steven Aghakhani in the LMP3 class.

CORVETTE RACING AT SEBRING: That Winning Momentum

Corvette Z06 GT3.R entries aim to continue strong start to 2025 season

DETROIT (March 11, 2025) – Following on from a highly successful start to the 2025 season – first at Daytona and then in Qatar – the Corvette Racing program and its teams now move on to America’s oldest sports car race: the Mobil 1Twelve Hours of Sebring and the second round of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

Four Chevrolet Corvette Z06 GT3.Rs are set for the 73rd running of the Sebring 12 Hours – an event where Corvette Racing has claimed 14 class victories dating back to 2002. Two GTD PRO entries come from Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports with single-car GTD entries for Rolex 24 At Daytona class-winner AWA along with DXDT Racing.

· Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports – GTD PRO: Antonio Garcia, Alexander Sims, Daniel Juncadella(No. 3 Corvette); Nicky Catsburg, Tommy Milner, Nico Varrone (No. 4 Corvette)

· AWA – GTD: Matt Bell, Orey Fidani, Lars Kern (No. 13 Corvette)

· DXDT Racing – GTD: Charlie Eastwood, Alec Udell, Salih Yoluc (No. 36 Corvette)

The momentum of the second-year Corvette Z06 GT3.R program is sky-high even after only two months of racing. At Daytona, AWA captured a landmark first 24-hour win for the Corvette in GTD, the No. 3 Corvette from Pratt Miller Motorsports finished second in GTD PRO and the No. 4 sister Corvette led seven times in class.

In addition, the Corvette GT3 won in FIA World Endurance Championship competition for the first time with TF Sport taking the LM GT3 class victory with Juncadella as part of the driving lineup.

Corvettes were busy at Sebring in 2024. Both Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports and AWA posted top-10 class finishes in a rough-and-tumble 12 Hours – with the No. 3 Corvette running as high as second in the final 10 minutes before being pushed off-track in the closing minutes.

Meanwhile, DXDT Racing returns to racing Sebring for the second time in less than a year. Although this is the team’s first 12 Hours, DXDT Racing debuted with the Corvette Z06 GT3.R at the circuit last spring in GT World Challenge America.

A Mobil 1 and Corvette Celebration!

Long-time Corvette technical partner Mobil 1 will again be prominently featured on special race liveries of both the No. 3 and No. 4 Corvettes from Corvette Racing by Pratt Miller Motorsports at Sebring. Following its 50th anniversary celebration in 2024, Mobil 1 is placing renewed emphasis on the timeless red and blue colors in its primary Mobil 1 logo. As the design has become synonymous with sports car racing and Sebring, the Pratt Miller Motorsports Corvette liveries incorporate this classic theme while also paying homage to a variety of historic Corvettes adorned with the same colors.

For more than 25 years, the Mobil 1 brand has been an integral part of the Corvette Racing program. It was the only lubricant used by the factory racing effort dating back to the first on-track tests of the Corvette C5-R in 1997. The Mobil 1 brand continues as a primary sponsor of the Pratt Miller-run Corvette Z06 GT3.R team, and since 1993 has been the factory fill for all new production Corvettes.

Chevrolet Motorsports on Display at Sebring

In addition to the many happenings on the racetrack at Sebring, fans will have plenty to see and experience from Chevrolet. The Chevrolet’s Motorsports Display – located in the Sebring Midway – will be full of Chevy vehicles that spectators can learn more about throughout the weekend. The Chevrolet Motorsports Display opens at 9 a.m. Thursday and Friday plus 8 a.m. Saturday. Numerous Chevrolet vehicles and other highlights include:

  • The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 plus a cutaway chassis and engine display
  • Additional Chevrolet products such as Corvette Stingray Coupe, Blazer EV SS, Equinox ACTIV, Traverse RS, Colorado ZR2, Silverado 1500 RST and Silverado EV RST
  • An opportunity to receive a 2025 Chevrolet Motorsports t-shirt

The Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring is scheduled for 10:10 a.m. ET on Saturday, March 15. The race will air live flag-to-flag on Peacock in the United States and YouTube outside the U.S. beginning at 10 a.m. ET. IMSA Radio will air all on-track sessions at IMSA.com along with the race call on XM 206, SiriusXM Online 996, 99.9 FM in Sebring and 107.9 FM at the circuit.

JESSICA DANE, CORVETTE RACING PROGRAM MANAGER: “After big wins at Daytona and Qatar, it’s exciting to continue the early part of our season at the 12 Hours of Sebring. Year in and year out, it’s a race that attracts the top manufacturers, teams and drivers for one of sports car racing’s ultimate tests. What makes it even more special for the Corvette Racing program is the long history of success our program has experienced during the last 20-plus years. We’re looking forward to working closely with each of our teams over the course of the event to deliver the best possible results.”

SELECT CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R DRIVER QUOTES

ANTONIO GARCIA, NO. 3 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “I’m looking forward to another year at Sebring. It was my first race in America so it means a lot to come here every year, especially with Corvette. There isn’t another track like it which always keeps things interesting. I think this year we want to win this one more than almost any other given our pace last year. The ending was really unfortunate but we know that this year we will have another strong package. Daytona was a near-miss so hopefully we can fix that this time.”

ALEXANDER SIMS, NO. 3 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “I always look forward to Sebring. There was clear progress that we made at Daytona this year versus last year, so we’re going into this race with a good package. Our pace a year ago was pretty strong through lots of the race. We did some testing there in November where things went really well and it was very successful. I love driving Sebring. It’s a great track, an iconic one and unique with its characteristics. It makes things interesting so I’m looking forward to a fun race. Hopefully we can make it to the end like we didn’t last year unfortunately. We were in a good spot and in a podium position. Hopefully we can replicate that sort of form again, fight at the front and finish a clean race.”

DANIEL JUNCADELLA, NO. 3 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “We are in a much better place than we were a year ago going into Sebring. We have made some really big steps throughout last season. We nearly won last year at Sebring and had a big chance for a podium on the last lap before I got pushed out of the race. I’d say it’s a track that suits us nicely. The Corvette should be strong there, and the track suits us nicely. As a driver, you can really make a difference because it’s bumpy and difficult. So I look forward to racing again there. I love IMSA, and those three big races that I’m doing are probably the most fun of all. It’s a cool weekend.”

TOMMY MILNER, NO. 4 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “I’m ready and looking forward to Sebring this year. Everyone knows about the history of this place and what this event means in the sports car world. It truly is a test of car, driver and team to survive what I think is one of the most physically challenging races in the world. That’s what I look forward to every year I come back to Sebring with the Corvette. We know we have a great car and a proven car compared to where we arrived a year ago. After seeing a potential win disappear for us at Daytona, I know our guys are eager to make it right this weekend and get back to the top of the podium.”

NICKY CATSBURG, NO. 4 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “We are coming off a strong Daytona even though on the No. 4 car the result wasn’t great. But for me the performance all around – the car, the drivers, the whole team – was super strong. It gives me great confidence compared to where we were one year ago. I think we can win this race. We did quite a lot of testing at Sebring in the winter, and I think we will have a very good car for this track and this event. I hope the focus will be on the race and not too much on what happened at Daytona. We want to focus on just doing a good, clean race. Unfortunately Sebring in the last couple of years has turned into a bit of a crashfest at the end of the race. I really hope to avoid that happening again and that we can all use our common sense a little bit more because even at Daytona it was a bit too much. But it is a very positive outlook for me. I’m looking forward to being back with Tommy and Nico. They were mega at Daytona, and the team is in a much better place than one year ago with the Corvette and everyone working with each other. I can’t see a reason why we won’t be good at Sebring.”

NICO VARRONE, NO. 4 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “Sebring is always special because of the history and the track itself. It has a lot of character. Every 12 Hours of Sebring I would define as chaos. You go into the night at such an iconic track with the bumps… you put one wheel in the wrong spot and you are off the track. So you pay for your mistakes, which is the characteristic of IMSA and the American tracks, which I like. GT racing is really aggressive. I think at Daytona it was too much but I expect the same for Sebring. At Daytona we were in a good spot; we were just missing top speed versus some of the other manufacturers, which made it really difficult to race against them. Sebring has always been a great track for Corvette, and the cars always work well there. I’ve had success there with Corvette as well. The cars always felt really nice. I think we will be in a good spot but other cars will be fast as well. I expect it to be a super fight until the end.”

MATT BELL, NO. 13 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “I’m excited to get back on track with AWA after our amazing weekend in Daytona. I’ve always loved that IMSA has so many iconic race tracks and events, and we go straight into another one this weekend! I’ve wanted to win the Sebring 12h for as long as I’ve had Daytona on my list too, and we are obviously going there with a lot of confidence after the win at the 24H. The test we did last month went very well, I think we will be very competitive again.”

OREY FIDANI, NO. 13 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “Winning at Daytona was definitely the best way we could have started the season. We were firing on all cylinders and all the hard work the team put in during the off-season really paid off. We have no intentions of slowing down, we’re all motivated and want to keep the momentum going. Sebring is one of the toughest races on the calendar, but we know we have what it takes to fight at the front and that’s exactly what we’re setting out to do.”

LARS KERN, NO. 13 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “We had a great race at Daytona and we’ll have the same approach for Sebring. We should be in the mix for a good result again, especially after a great test we had at Sebring recently. But this isn’t just any championship where you rock up and win every race. IMSA is the most competitive series in the world. Our target is to maintain the championship lead and finish the race in the highest position possible.”

CHARLIE EASTWOOD, NO. 36 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “GT racing at Sebring is always one to watch if you’re not involved. The GT fight last year over the last 30 minutes was crazy. The Corvette was strong there last year and hopefully it will be the same again this year. Obviously Daytona for us didn’t go the way we wanted. To keep our Endurance Cup championship hopes up, hopefully we can give the team back something because they worked so hard pre- and post-Daytona. We need to find a way to piece all the bits of the puzzle together so we can show the performance the car has, which has been shown by others also, and get a good result for DXDT Racing.”

ALEC UDELL, NO. 36 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “I’m looking forward to the race coming up at the Sebring 12 Hours. The track itself is one of the more physical circuits we go to on the IMSA calendar, and from that standpoint I’m happy to be behind the wheel of the Corvette Z06 GT3.R. The platform is great over a long run and allows the driver to guide a lot of the balance through the run. The DXDT crew has been putting in a lot of hard work in the shop since Daytona and the test a few weeks ago, I think we’re going to be ready for the condensed schedule on the weekend. I expect this weekend will continue to be growing and gelling for the team.”

SALIH YOLUC, NO. 36 CHEVROLET CORVETTE Z06 GT3.R: “I am looking forward to Sebring after a disappointing Daytona. Hopefully we will get a good result to kick start a good momentum for the remaining 2025 season which we desperately need for our championship hopes as well. I can’t wait.”

Driver: Matt Mills | Crew Chief: Mike Shiplett

  • Mills’ Las Vegas Stats: Matt Mills has started four NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway since 2017. His best finish of 15th-place came in 2022, and last year, the driver of the No. 42 finished 31st after a crash. Mills has made nine NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) starts with a best result of 24th-place in fall, 2019.
  • Shiplett’s Las Vegas Stats: Mike Shiplett is a two-time winner at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, having swept both NXS races in 2018 with Kyle Larson and Ross Chastain. Shiplett has also captured two NXS poles, both with Cole Custer in 2019. In nine NXS starts, his drivers have accrued four top-fives and seven top-10 finishes. He’s called one previous NCTS race at the track, finishing 12th last March with Bret Holmes. In 2008, Shiplett made his debut as a Cup Series crew chief in his first of nine starts at the 1.5-mile intermediate.
  • On the Truck: Mills’ No. 42 Chevrolet Silverado RST will race with support from longtime partners J.F. Electric and Utilitra, who will serve as his anchor partners for the entire 25-race season.
  • Recapping Atlanta: Matt Mills and the No. 42 team had a solid outing at Atlanta Motor Speedway. After starting the best for the team in 24th, Mills fought a loose handling truck early on to finish 28th in stage one. When adjustments were made at the start of stage two, Mills passed several trucks to move into 14th-place. Towards the finish, Mills worked with teammates, Bayley Currey and Kaden Honeycutt, to push to the front. The No. 42 crossed the line in 13th.
  • Points Rundown: Following his 13th-place result in Atlanta, Mills picked up five spots in the championship points standings. Mills is now tied with Dawson Sutton for 21st heading into Vegas, three points behind Matt Crafton in 20th.
  • Quoting Mills: This is the first true test of the intermediate package, so do you think your crew has made some good gains on it over the off season?

“Yeah, I’m really excited to go to Vegas. It’s one of my favorite race tracks, and I think our mile-and-a-half program was starting to get a lot better on our No. 42 Silverado last year. So going into Vegas, I’ll have one of my trucks that we raced last year that was really good. I’m looking forward to going to a track where we’ll have to lift a little more so it’s more about race craft. Hopefully we can have another good weekend for our J.F. Electric / Utilitra team.”

No. 44 Masked Owl Technologies / DQS Chevrolet Silverado RST
Driver: Bayley Currey | Crew Chief: Wally Rogers

  • Currey’s Las Vegas Stats: Bayley Currey has competed in three NCTS races at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. His personal-best result of 16th-place came in the fall of 2018, and last year, Currey finished 28th. In eight NXS starts, Currey’s best finish is a 13th-place effort in the fall of 2021.
  • Rogers’ Las Vegas Stats: Wally Rogers has called 10 previous NCTS races held at Las Vegas since 2004. Ryan Truex earned Rogers’ personal-best truck finish back in 2020 when he finished 12th. Rogers has also made seven NXS starts here, securing one top-five (fourth with Kevin Harvick in 2008) and three top-10s. He’s also made five Cup Series starts at the 1.5-mile speedway.
  • On the Truck: Currey’s No. 44 Chevrolet Silverado RST will race with support from Masked Owl Technologies and DQS Solutions & Staffing.
  • Recapping Atlanta: For the second straight week, Bayley Currey and the No. 44 team challenged for a victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway. After suffering a mechanical issue in qualifying and starting 30th, Currey quickly began to climb through the field. Finishing 15th in stage one and 13th in stage two, the Masked Owl Technologies Chevrolet came to life once in cleaner air up front. Currey worked with teammates, Kaden Honeycutt and Matt Mills, to devise a plan to lead the pack. In the closing laps, Currey led the charge on the inside lane to come home with an impressive fourth-place finish.
  • Points Rundown: Coming off a tie for his best-career finish in Atlanta, Currey made significant ground in the points standings. Since moving up from 22nd to 11th, Currey now sits only one spot outside of the Playoffs. He is one point behind Jack Wood in 10th, and six points ahead of Tanner Gray in 12th.
  • Bullring Roots: At the start of Currey’s career, he raced in the USLCI and INEX Pro Series legends cars at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring. Currey competed in three races at the 3/8th-mile short track in 2009, and won two of the features.
  • Quoting Currey: You’ve said plenty of times that you wish you could have this race back from last year, so going into this weekend, do you change your approach at all?

“I definitely feel good about our mile-and-a-half speed; I think that’s been something that we’ve always shined at. Vegas was just one of those races last year where I tried to do too much too quick. I got myself in a bad spot and took us out of contention in the race. I’ll think my moves through a little bit more this time. I was definitely being aggressive last year and was thinking how important it was to get stage points and track position on restarts, so on that initial start I was doing too much. We were making ground, but I just kept pushing it until I pushed it a little too far. Being able to have that knowledge and realizing that it’s okay to dial it back a little bit will be very helpful. We’ve had a few good runs to open the year out with and I’m looking to continue that with our No. 44 Masked Owl / DQS Chevy.”

No. 45 AutoVentive / Precision Vehicle Logistics Chevrolet Silverado RST
Driver: Kaden Honeycutt | Crew Chief: Phil Gould

  • Honeycutt’s Las Vegas Stats: Kaden Honeycutt has started one NCTS race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. His lone start at the track resulted in a 25th-place finish back in 2023.
  • Gould’s Las Vegas Stats: Phil Gould has called nine NCTS races at Las Vegas since 2019. Gould has earned one top-five and three top-10 finishes at the track, including a runner-up finish with Ross Chastain at the fall, 2019 race. Last year, Gould’s team finished 19th with Connor Mosack driving the No. 45 truck. In seven NXS starts, Gould’s drivers have earned him three top-10s with a best result of seventh secured by Brian Scott in 2014.
  • On the Truck: Honeycutt’s No. 45 Chevrolet Silverado RST will race with support from AutoVentive and Precision Vehicle Logistics, who will serve as his anchor partners for the majority of the season.
  • Recapping Atlanta: Kaden Honeycutt and the No. 45 team rebounded strongly after a disappointing opening race. Qualifying 25th, Honeycutt moved forward to finish 16th in stage one. In stage two, the DQS / DealBadger Silverado worked its way towards the front, collecting six stage points with a fifth-place effort. At the end of the race, all three Niece Motorsports teammates – Honeycutt, Currey, and Mills – lined up nose-to-tail to contend for the victory. Honeycutt was credited with a sixth-place finish for the second year in a row.
  • Points Rundown: Honeycutt’s sixth-place finish vaulted him 16 positions up the points leaderboard leaving Atlanta. Where he is now sitting 15th overall, the driver is two points behind 14th-place Tyler Ankrum and one point ahead of a pair of drivers – Frankie Muniz and Josh Reaume – who are tied for 16th. Currently, Honeycutt is only 11 points below the Playoffs cutline.
  • Bullring Roots: Honeycutt has been no stranger to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring, having raced legends cars there several times in USLCI and INEX Pro Series competition. In 2017, Honeycutt won four straight INEX features at the Bullring Showdown, and later went on to make a start in the ARCA Menards Series West at the 3/8th-mile short track in 2023.
  • Quoting Honeycutt: Since you had a really good string of intermediate races last year, are you looking forward to getting back to a traditional mile-and-a-half?

“Yeah, I haven’t been to Las Vegas since 2023, so I’m definitely looking forward to it. It’ll be my first time racing there with No. 45 group, so I’m very much looking forward to it considering how much we’ve improved since last year on our mile-and-a-half program. It was really good last year, and I can only imagine how much better it will be now. For me, going into practice will be really valuable to get some laps in and learn what I need to know so we can set ourselves up for a good night. Our AutoVentive / Precision team can start attacking the season more aggressively now since a lot will be in our control.”

Massive Car Recall Over Software Problems – Check If Your Vehicle Is Impacted

Photo by Peter Broomfield on Unsplash

Millions of vehicles have been recalled due to software defects. This alarming development is making headlines globally and leaving vehicle owners scrambling to determine whether their Car Recall are affected. If you own a vehicle, it’s crucial to stay informed as these software flaws could pose significant risks to safety and performance.

But what exactly is leading to this massive recall? What should you look for, and how do you know if your vehicle is on the list? This article dives into the issue, helping you understand the implications of this recall and the steps you need to take as a responsible vehicle owner.

What Caused the Recall?

The automotive industry has seen rapid technological advancements in recent years, with vehicles becoming increasingly dependent on software-driven systems. From engine control and navigation to advanced driver-assistance features, software now plays an integral role in modern cars.

However, with this increased reliance on technology, the room for glitches and vulnerabilities has grown. The current recall stems from identified defects in some software systems that control critical vehicle functionalities. Issues such as failing safety features, erroneous warnings, or even loss of control while driving have been reported.

These software malfunctions are not isolated instances but systemic issues in certain vehicle models. Manufacturers are now stepping up to address these problems before they lead to accidents or harm to drivers and passengers.

Common Problems Highlighted in the Recall

  • Brake System Malfunctions

Several vehicles are reporting irregularities with their automated braking systems due to faulty software. This can result in the brakes engaging unexpectedly or not engaging when necessary.

  • Steering Control Failures

Some cars are experiencing issues with their power steering systems, making it difficult for drivers to maintain control of their vehicles.

  • Battery Management System Errors

For electric and hybrid vehicles, defective software has caused inaccurate charge level readings or sudden energy loss during operation.

  • Airbag Deployment Failures

Software glitches in airbag systems can delay deployment in a crash or cause unexpected activation, both of which are serious safety concerns.

  • Connectivity Failures

Infotainment systems and over-the-air update functionality have been failing in some models, which could prevent vehicles from receiving critical software patches.

These issues underscore the need for immediate attention from drivers to ensure their safety and compliance with recall measures.

How to Check If Your Vehicle Is Impacted

If you’re unsure whether your car is affected, checking is simple and straightforward. Manufacturers are legally required to notify vehicle owners when recalls occur, but sometimes mail or email communications can be missed. Here are the steps you should take to confirm:

1. Identify Your Vehicle’s VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)

Your VIN can typically be found on:

  • The lower corner of your car’s windshield on the driver’s side
  • The label inside the driver’s side door frame
  • Your vehicle registration or insurance card

The VIN is a unique code assigned to every car and is your key to determining whether your car is part of the recall.

2. Visit the Official Vehicle Recall Directory

Most countries have a government or manufacturer-operated recall lookup website where you can enter your VIN. These platforms will immediately inform you if there are any recalls associated with your car.

3. Contact Your Dealer or Manufacturer

If you’re unable to locate your VIN or need assistance interpreting recall information, consider calling the dealership where you purchased the car or reaching out directly to the manufacturer’s customer service line.

What to Do If Your Car Is on the Recall List

Upon confirming that your car is part of the recall, it’s essential to take immediate action to reduce potential risks associated with the defect.

1. Schedule a Service Appointment

Contact your local authorized dealership to schedule a service appointment. Repairs for recall issues are typically provided free of charge, as manufacturers bear the responsibility for addressing these defects.

2. Follow Manufacturer Recommendations

Manufacturers will often provide guidance on how to use your car safely until the issue is addressed. This may include avoiding certain features or limiting use in specific conditions.

3. Document the Process

Keep a record of your original recall notice, communication with the manufacturer or dealer, and any service reports. This documentation can be beneficial in case further issues arise or if disputes occur.

4. Stay Updated

Even after your car is repaired, continue to check for updates and additional recalls. Regularly review any communications from the manufacturer and government recall websites.

Why These Recalls Should Not Be Ignored

Ignoring a recall, especially one associated with critical safety features, can lead to severe consequences. Here are some key reasons why you should act promptly:

Risk to Personal Safety

Software defects in braking, steering, or airbag systems significantly increase the risk of accidents. Driving an unaddressed vehicle could endanger not only your life but also the lives of your passengers and others on the road.

Some jurisdictions impose penalties for failing to address recalls. Additionally, unresolved defects may reduce your car’s resale value or insurance coverage.

Future Maintenance Challenges

Unresolved software issues can potentially escalate into larger, costlier repairs. Addressing defects as soon as possible is the best way to avoid further complications.

Could Software Recalls Become More Frequent?

The current wave of recalls raises an important question about software and its place in the future of vehicles. As cars adopt increasingly complex systems—ranging from autonomous driving to connected car technologies—software will remain a double-edged sword.

While advancements enhance convenience and safety, they also create new vulnerabilities in a space previously dominated by mechanical components. Cybersecurity, regular testing, and comprehensive software maintenance must become integral parts of vehicle manufacturing to prevent future recalls on this scale.

Ensuring Peace of Mind on the Road Ahead

The massive car recall over software problems is a wake-up call for both manufacturers and drivers. It serves as a reminder that, while technology can revolutionize how we drive, diligence and responsibility must always come first.

If you own a vehicle, now is the time to act. Take the steps outlined above to determine whether your car is impacted, and address any issues promptly to ensure your safety on the road. Staying informed and proactive is the best way to adapt to the evolving relationship between technology and transportation.

Remember, your safety is worth the effort.

Are Audi Reliable Cars in 2025?

The beginning of the twenty-first century has intensified people’s desire to know about the reliability of the most valuable car brands. Audi, a German company of luxury vehicles, powerful and innovative vehicles, therefore the brand is always under pressure. This paper therefore seeks to answer whether Audi cars are reliable in the year 2025 given the continuous enhancement of technology and implementation of safety measures to enhance the vehicles’ safety. This topic should be explored to better understand the benefits and pitfalls of the Audi automobiles during this period.

Audi’s Strengths in Reliability

Engineering Excellence

As we know, Audi is one of the leading car manufacturers in the world, which has a high reputation in the field of car designing and engineering. A key promise has also been established in relation to the brand, as all the vehicles are thoroughly inspected and subject to different testing controls. This level of dedication towards engineering is helpful in enhancing the reliability of the Audi car models.

Advanced Safety Features

It is with this perspective that safety forms a central part of the Audi brand, and the company has not shied from incorporating several innovations into its automobiles. Adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and pre crash systems, for instance, are other features which make the driving experience more enjoyable and provide the reliability needed by the consumer.

Longevity and Durability

In this article, various Audi vehicles have been implied to hail from a company that values the principle of their durability. This is due to extensive research on high-quality materials and a great focus on making the car suitable for construction that would ensure that more Audi models last longer than most cars if properly maintained. This is, however, due to this element of durability, hence making them very reliable appliances.

Customer Satisfaction

It seems that the customers’ satisfaction with the performance and luxurious attributes of Audi is a frequently reported theme. However, it is imperative to find out that many of the models have no major complications, and many purchasers are contented since Audi displays a remarkable penchant for customer service.

Common Issues in Audi Vehicles

Nevertheless, Audi cars also have their own challenges, though they are very competitive and sophisticated. Lately, with the advancement in technology, accidents are experienced in the course of driving a car. One of the perennial issues is concerned with the Electronic Power Control (EPC) light.

The EPC Light On Issue

The Audi’s EPC light on is usually referred to as the Electronic Power Control light and is common in most Audi vehicles, especially those with the diesel engine. This warning light stands for Engine Power, if the light is lit, it means that the engine power control system has a faulty and it may in turn affect the engine performance by causing it to stall.

Causes: There exist several causes of the EPC light and they include faulty sensors, EGR system, or the power control unit of the engine.

Symptoms: If the EPC light is on, car owners may feel reduced power under the accelerator pedal, strange noises from the engine compartment, or the car stops soon and can restart only after some moments, especially if this happens at low speeds or when the driver tried to accelerate.

Solutions: Usually, the solutions to the EPC light include troubleshooting to determine the source of the problem. Some of the common fixes may involve replacing the sensors, cleaning of the EGR valve, among other things, or even updating of software. These part shortages should be rectified as soon as possible since lack of constant servicing only aggravates the problem.

Other Common Issues

Besides the EPC light, some main problems that the owners of Audi cars might experience are transmission failures, electronic failures, and problems with the infotainment system. Nevertheless, one has to remember that these problems are not peculiar only to Audi, and are inherent in many cars with the complicated brand electronic equipment.

Conclusion

It is expected, by 2025, that the reliability of Audi cars will remain high because the company will continue to dedicate its efforts on engineering quality and customer satisfaction. Small problems like EPC light, for instance, can be considered to be somewhat tricky but not difficult to deal with, as long as they are serviced and repaired well on time. Over the years, more and more technologies are being developed, and it is up to Audi to incorporate such technologies either in its designs or in its production process in order to sustain its reputation as a dependable car company. Such aspects are useful for the would-be car owners who want to own an Audi because these inputs can guide the purchasing decision of the client.

Daytona vs. Talladega: Which Superspeedway Offers Better Betting Value?

Motorsports betting for superspeedway competitions differs from all other racing betting options. Races on superspeedways present bettors and drivers with multiple challenges due to unpredictable conditions, high-speed pack racing, and the risk of significant crashes known as “The Big One.” The speedway world features Daytona International Speedway and Talladega Superspeedway alongside Daytona International Speedway as its most prestigious stops in restrictor-plate competition.

These racing tracks consistently produce unanticipated wins, unpredictable results, and dangerous accidents, creating one of the hardest betting situations. Regarded as a betting dilemma among experienced wagerers and beginners, each must determine between these two established racetracks. Talladega maintains its image as an unpredictable and shocking venue even though Daytona retains its position as host of the marquee Daytona 500 race.

Knowledge regarding the main distinctions between these two large NASCAR tracks becomes vital for determining which race warrants placing a wager. By using the betway app one can easily make bets through its convenient interface that presents multiple NASCAR wagering choices extending to race victor outcomes and beginning-to-end live betting possibilities.

Daytona: The Tradition and Strategy of Betting

Daytona International Speedway is the most recognized track because it organizes the Daytona 500, which people call “The Great American Race.” This track attracts top-tier competition because of its importance to both the teams and fans. Although unpredictable, betting trends at Daytona show some consistency because of how this race plays out.

The Daytona 500 is the starting point of each NASCAR season, after which teams have not developed their full-season competitive form. The lack of recent racing data makes betting on opening-day attacks more difficult for those who want to place wagers. The second race held at Daytona, called Cork Zero Sugar 400, enables bettors to examine performance patterns.

At Daytona, the draft continues to be a dominant element at the track, handling, and pit strategy; it delivers more significant results than at Alabama. The pattern of successful track performance by drivers at Daytona indicates that trends serve as better indicators of future race results. At Daytona, betting on experienced superspeedway drivers provides slightly better safety than Talladega, where unpredictable elements tend to prevail over past results.

Two factors should be considered regarding Daytona’s double race schedule, which occurs at different seasonal times throughout the year. The Daytona 500 takes place in February when temperatures remain calm, but the Coke Zero Sugar 400 appears in the summer heat, thus leading to slicker conditions at the track. Track conditions during the different seasons play an active role in determining championship outcomes. Users of the betway app can examine driver results at different track temperatures, which helps them decide which Daytona race provides better chances for betting.

Talladega: The Unpredictable Betting Wildcard

While Daytona represents established tradition and honor, Talladega is a venue of pure wildness. The Alabama superspeedway, at 2.66 miles, is the longest NASCAR course, creating ample space for vehicles to gain speed, leading to frequent epic wreckage. Drafting plays an essential role at Talladega, while the longer straightaways create extraordinary late-race situations, making it next to impossible to foretell the race winner until lap 300.

Betting on Talladega becomes exceptionally difficult because underdog teams consistently have a larger chance of victory here. The track’s unpredictable nature sets it apart from standard venues, where surprising middle-tier and backmarker teams manage to win championship victories. This track poses substantial challenges to forecasters because of its sharp-packed racing nature and frequent dangerous multi-car wrecks.

Bettors discover noteworthy value by selecting unusual bets at Talladega since many unpredictable results occur on this race track. At Talladega, all drivers face the same danger of becoming involved in unavoidable crashes despite the typical betting pattern in which fans pick track favorites. Sharp betting professionals at Talladega prefer to distribute their bets among various drivers who face longer odds as an alternative to putting big money on one favorite driver. Through the Betway app, users can efficiently execute multiple betting opportunities quickly and receive immediate updates about their placed wagers.

The race events at Talladega occur at different times throughout the season since one happens in spring, and the second unfolds during the NASCAR Playoffs in the fall. During fall races in the NASCAR playoff season, most playoff drivers choose defensive strategies to remain in contention, yet non-playoff drivers, along with longshots, frequently adopt riskier approaches. Correctly understanding racing characteristics creates the basis for winning bets.

Which Track Offers Better Betting Value?

Bettors need to understand their acceptable level of risk when determining between Daytona and Talladega because different tracks offer distinct possibility value opportunities. The betting preference towards historical patterns, driver reliability, and pit operations make Daytona Speedway the optimal choice. This track offers some statistical predictability, enabling successful analysis of historical racing data and strategically placed bets. Bets at these venues have chances that typically respect conventional wisdom, which minimizes opportunities for big wins.

The racing fans who enjoy betting on unlikely winners prefer to visit the betting opportunities at Talladega. Risk-seeking betting enthusiasts should choose Talladega Track since this venue provides better opportunities to win with rugged underdog wagers during unpredictable races. Risks at Talladega are elevated because crashes and pack racing events occur randomly, yet the potential wins from these races remain substantially higher. Talladega proves to be an excellent opportunity for bettors who conduct research and choose drivers from the mid-section of the field who excel at superspeedway tracks.

The decision of how to bet at each track depends on which race is currently running. Bettors should focus on experienced superspeedway specialists for Daytona races but should include underdog bets at Talladega since it allows for more significant possible returns. Users of the betway app can benefit from live odds changes and interactive betting features since race progress enables them to adjust their betting strategies.

The racing experience at Talladega and betting options create an exciting atmosphere for sure bettors, just as Daytona does for others. People who want organized betting will find Daytona attractive due to its mix of traditions with foreseeable patterns and strategic elements. Although Talladega produces large rewards due to its unpredictable behavior, it presents elevated betting risks to bettors.
